Groan... on French TV on April 28th - the day before the Cambridge's wedding anniversary, we have this one hour documentary.

Meghan et Kate: duel royal à Buckingham

(Translation of programme blurb) Is Meghan a victim of the system or a manipulator? Is Kate the big-hearted princess that the press portrays? One thing is certain, between the two, war is declared. How did the modern fairy tale turn into a pitched battle between the two commoners of the royal crown of England? Why did the two brothers, so close since the death of their mother, have come to tear each other apart? And what is the exact role of Kate and Meghan in this planetary scandal that looks like a state affair? For those who still doubted it, Meghan Markle's recent interview with Oprah Winfrey left no doubt: between Meghan and Kate, the disagreement is no longer even cordial. And each fights to defeat the other and achieve their ultimate goal: to become the unique "princess of hearts." Their fight to succeed Diana in the hearts of the whole world does not date from this last event.

ETA Obviously anything that puts Megzy's name first is coming via her team.....
ETA2 Also obviously. Total nonsense. This is Meghan's tabloid fantasy PR of 'Kate fights Meghan' when in reality Duchess of Cambridge is getting on with her important work.

The posts about George Clooney, is there any truth to them if so it's shattered my illusions or perhaps he was one of the disappointed yacht customers. These people have such seedy pasts and connections and makes me wonder if the mob minge was working for then may have a threatening cloud of silence and people who can advance your career if you open your legs wide enough and often enough it makes me want to vomit and what about the "untouchable" Amal does she know??

I thought I was a realist but seems now that I am quite an innocent especially with the disgusting things the Harkles low lives have been teaching Archie and smirking about it.

They really are the slags of society.

She’s put the Clooneys and Obamas and any other fence-sitters in an awkward position now by saying they’re invited to the Montecito party. Would love to be fly on the wall when Amal is told it’s time to bow and scrape again.
Isn’t Amal actually busy? She’s a barrister, she has twins. She barely knows this woman and it’s for a second baby. She can afford all the merch she may want. I’ll be really surprised if she does go.

And of course there's always the option of spilling it over a peasant to relieve her feelings.

English Breakfast Tea - Twinings will do.
Yorkshire Gold will also do, even PG Tips at need. I like an Earl Grey in the afternoon.
It was Tetleys when they were doing the monkey toys - choice forced upon me by the daughter. :sneaky:
Errm - I have a PG Tips monkey...

I have no idea what to say to someone who puts the milk in first. “Get out” is all I could manage.

😡
I thought it dated back to when bone china was extremely rare and expensive so ladies had to put the milk in first so the cup didn't crack. Meanwhile the tea was steeping in the pot...

It’s Dan W. I believe him. He’s been right about everything so far.
Totally believe this; Bradby lost all credibility by the ‘no one asked me if i’m okay’ interview.

I’m very proud of William’s decisions. He can see who is good and who isn’t for the monarchy. He will make an excellent King.

Thoughts?! True or BS?!
Likely to be 100% true. ITV, particularly ITV News, have stepped away from their duty to be impartial and have turned into a propaganda outlet for Harkles PR. That's potentially quite serious for them as a broadcaster, if the palace are minded to challenge this via Ofcom or other channels. They seem to have lost their collective minds over the Oprah interview, not followed it up with an equally prominent 'balancing' discussion and not paid any attention to fact-checking. It's bad enough for Oprah to indulge the 'speaking your truth' crap with the Harkles on a US network, but for ITV to decide they will allow damaging allegations to be made without fact checking or balance is serious stuff. Chris Ship did a kind-of follow up but it was really a figleaf and mostly repeated all of Meghan's allegations uncritically.

ITV are being put on notice that they will lose access to the future King.

Interesting item from Talk Radio

This is great. Thanks for posting.
I really like this chap in the middle. Good for him. Concise, calm and well-argued.
The one on the right would, I suspect, have a problem wherever he goes due to the enormous chip on his shoulder.
If he were ginger, Scottish, Yorkshire-accented, short, tall, fat, Irish, lesbian, left-handed, Welsh, disabled, Essex, you name it, wouldn't he be the type to pick on those attributes as the reason why people have 'discriminated' against him and nothing's ever his fault?
Seems like just another shouty man telling other people what to think.

1. PG Tips all the way
2. "she's a bit MIF" *milk in first* was the way posh friends mum described those less posh than her
3. Dan Wootton is very often right it seems

Interesting snippet. I didn’t know that!

However, none of my mugs cost more than £1 so there is simply no excuse to produce a cup of hot milky water that slowly turns brown 🤮 Unless you’re posh and use a pot, in which case milk first might be acceptable.

I wonder how our own dear Queen does it? 👑 🇬🇧

I do feel that more people would pay attention to this if it was a less polarising figure than Piers. We are in a bit of a bubble here on tattle... I’m convinced that the masses, while probably a bit fed up of the harkles, are in the ‘good for them leaving a situation that didn’t make them happy’ camp. And I don’t think Piers Morgan is the one to sway them.

Also, isn’t he doing the same ambiguous ‘naming no names’ schtick that he was infuriated by the harkles doing!? I think he would have maintained more credibility by saying ‘I hope the royals will feel supported by my speaking out’ rather than ‘they have been in touch but I can’t name names’.
I agree that PM is marmite for many as either end of the taste continuum, with wide field of people who are overwhelmingly neutral or are registered marmaleaders.

Rather like an Overton window, in the earliest days of their relationship & then left the RF to follow their dream, most folk were middling, to find H&M to be more or less acceptable.

But now that H&M have played their cards & been seen/found/proven to be bullying, deceitful, manipulative spendthrift whingers, the middling folk are firmly moving to the position of finding them unacceptable. Any specialist PR/heavyweight influencers will now see that public opinion & sentiment have made a firm move away from the planned outcomes, & will be distancing themselves from the existing contractual arrangements to protect the corporate reputation & future business.

Challenging the purpose & value of the RF from a democratic &/or republican perspective is an ongoing constitUniondale dialogue & one which the RF has faced & adapted for generations gone & to come. BUT dissing HMTQ & throwing shade at her & working well respected members of the RF veers sharply away from structured political discourse to make a smash’n’ grab into the national psyche & British cultural norms. As we know, many a staunch republican has an abiding fondness for & appreciation of HMTQ, PP & some other royals.

My point being that no matter how Marmite PM may be, the damage has already been done.
Anyone looking at the content of his presentation in a PM-free environment would reasonably get the same messages & reasonably come to the same conclusions.

PM stuck one on H&M(box office poison) on behalf of professional journalists everywhere.

The PG Tips monkey was part of our lived experience. But it got left on a beam in an old, old haunted mansion. (This is true - it has probably been eaten by ghosts by now.)

As for the bone china - my grandmother's tea service attests to your truth. I poured straight from the pot and the delicate cup shattered. I thought I was being poshat the time, and using the full service.
But why would anyone make a cuppa from a tea bag puddled in cold milk at the bottom of a mug. Lawd. That Piers has dark traits.

Fiction via a common gossip 'source' called Omid Scobie The purpose of this dribble is solely to promote the Diana statue ceremony. Couldn't be clearer that they've sold something to someone about this statue event.

“The conversation Harry and William had after the big interview didn’t end well,” the insider says of the brothers,...

“William feels that Harry has gotten too big for his boots since moving to California — that success and Hollywood have gone to his head,” the source adds. “He’s already accused [Harry] of putting fame over family after the big interview.”......

The brothers, whose tense relationship has been the subject of intrigue over the last few years, are set to reunite this summer for the unveiling of a statue dedicated to their late mother, Princess Diana. While “William is insisting” to see Harry before the special event, the source tells Us that the Archewell cofounder “is refusing to meet up” and “won’t be bossed around.”

The insider adds, “If Harry acts out on the day or even worse, doesn’t show up, William will never, ever forgive him.”

The problem with milk in first, is that you can over-milk. You can always add, but you can't take it away!

I’m one of the ‘posh’ brigade then because I went back to loose leaf in a pot over the plastic in tea bags thing. However I jumble up a whole load of different teas for max taste, brew until it’s builders strength dark, add milk first, and serve in a mug (read bucket) so I wouldn’t win many classy points from Her Maj! I’d never go back to tea bags now tho, I have to admit, it’s the best tea ever.

She's done this in response to the comments that A listers are avoiding her after the interview.

She's desperate for any high level recognition to prove that she's still got the support.

None of these people will come, and I suspect Covid will be a convenient excuse.
I doubt the Obamas would attend something like this to be honest, they seem to have that respect for HMTQ and RF!!

Interesting retweet by AL. The comments are full of moon bump and surrogate talk.

MSM inching the moon bump meme out there.
What can MM do?
Who can she sue of breach(!) of her privacy???

After all, if her legal claim against ANL is based upon a personal letter, surely she has a further greater hurt &/or is damage by the direct allegation &/or libel that she is lying about her pregnancy? Surely she has a stronger case to sue to stop the libel & seek damages? Surely an obligation to the truth?

Inching...

The Queen doesn’t pour her own tea, she has someone to do it for her! 😉
