I don't have a Kindle. I only have the Kindle app on my phone (Android). Google won't allow it anymore. I can only get books on their Google Play Books app now. Wankers!!
I have the kindle app on my android phone. I put the amazon app on my phone, and bought my kindle book on the amazon app. The book went straight to my kindle app when it came out.

picked this up from Twitter lead to a US news rag

‘A group including Prince Harry, Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley are suing the publishers of The Daily Mail, saying they are “the victims of abhorrent criminal activity and gross breaches of privacy” including the hiring of private investigators.

The group also includes actor Sadie Frost, John’s partner David Furnish and British campaigner Doreen Lawrence.

In a press release from Prince Harry and Frost’s lawyer Hamlins in the past hour, it was alleged that Associated Newspapers, publishers of The Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday and The Mail Online, hired private investigators to secretly place listening devices inside people’s cars and homes.’

My BiB takes me to Hamlins LLP London: https://hamlins.com/
From the Hamlins’ website, it looks like they are specialists in phone hacking cases:
https://hamlins.com/expertise/phone-hacking-claims/
& have had some experience settling claims against The Mirror Group & News Group Newspapers.

Here’s the latest from the Hamlins’ site about Hazza & Frost: https://hamlins.com/press-release-various-claimants-vs-associated-newspapers-limited/. Other litigants are said to be represented by gunnercooke - no explicit briefings on their corporate website but we may assume that Hamlins‘s announcement is correct.

Hmm, interesting…eventually.
I read that and it alleges the DM and MoS have been paying people for medical record information as well as other seedy things. To be fair I agree with them.

I bloody love Pam Ayres, it's great to see her back doing telly work.
A little o/t but did you have her album where she sang about ‘green and yella’ (what you been eating down in them there woods all day?) ? My family would sing it all the time and thought it was hilarious

I did, many freds ago, post Little Billy Greenaway (liar) comparing it to Hazzno and Smegzy. It just fitted that they would lie for the sake of it all the time

Q? can someone tell me again how to put o/t behind a spoiler I did try but it hasn’t worked -soz

I'm fucking livid. Went into the Kindle app on my phone (android). No longer usable with Android because of some Google play store policy. Had it linked to my Amazon account.. FUCKING SHITHOUSE 😭😭😭😭😭
Just checked, mine works. Can you call Amazon and ask for help?

They are watchable if you like detective drama and are a bit more light hearted/less serious than for example 'Lewis'. The show is set in Bath (so nice scenery). McDonald is an ambitious cop from London and Dodds is an older man who has been sidelined in his career because he's not pushy, but of course he comes up with solutions.
Thank you Scotch for the synopsis. I think I might like that. It doesn't sound too heavy, so I will be able to relax.

I think I am going to be in trouble with all these spoilers.
