Even though I'm not a fan i would acknowledge that at least she actually did put some work in there. She will be able to do sound bites on fashion and lifestyle wellbeing that her fans will lap up. we allneed these props because unless you’re like someone like the Dalai lAMA who likes to go deep into ones Mind and ponder on the meaning of life..it can get very uncomfortable giving your mind free rein to analyse the minutiae of a life that can start to feel a bit unworthwhile.
so, you maybe give yourselves a purpose..throw yourself into some charity work. Doing a bit of good to someone whose life isn’t as fortunate as your own.
That can all help to give you some uplift.

Harry, I believe has found himself in a very unique situation.
I think he thought he could have his departure on his terms. Popping in and out of Royal life, to reignite the connections, do a bit of charity and feel worthwhile, meanwhile leading a life of richness and celebrity that We mere mortals can only dream about.

the fact that the world wide situation has soured his plans, I believe has left him with some very uncomfortable feelings.

lots of time for his mind to have free reign on his thoughts and feelings. Not a good place to be when there’s not a lot you can do to change the situation.

doors arent opening for him. There’s no bowing and scraping to him. I expect he feels a bit of a,laughing stock.

A part of me still does feel sorry for him ,he's looked so unhappy since the engagement I think he realised when she wanted out of KP and away from the 2 people closest in Harrys life (K &W) alarm bells rang for him, but he was in too deep him dumping her would have cause a big embarrassment for the RF and I wouldn't put it past her to either have said she was pregnant or threatened to spill tit on everyone ( none of them would shock me to be honest ) I would imagine as soon as the announcement of a wedding is announced plans will start ,we don't know how far into the plans there were when he realised he was making a massive cock up ,now he's stuck with her, but I dont think for long,I said on the wedding day 2 yrs and its the anniversary this week .... I do v much agree that public booing en mass at an event or negativity directed right at him in public, in the U.K., would really crush him. It’s what he’s been avoiding all this time, running away from facing himself and his OWN actions. Well hopefully he will reach out for help or someone who genuinely loves and cares for him will get him help. I think the scenario you paint above is very very real. Do you work in mental health/ Psychology/Psychiatry ?

Great insight. A lot of people are struggling at this time for the same reasons (suicide rates are up :’( ) but they don’t have the privileged lifestyle. At the same time, it must be galling to see how relevant his family still is in this crisis (even if it’s just morale/PR- though it’s always positive).

not to go into personal details, but I can almost sympathize with him. Back in November the trajectory of my life suddenly hit a wall, and for a few months I was languishing in the delirium of a sudden loss of purpose. Granted it wasn’t because I had stepped out of my birthright/whatever you want to call Harry’s ‘role’, but there is a crushing sense of apathy and a sort of paralysis. You don’t know what to do next. You don’t care enough.

so I can understand his lack of balls - almost. The lockdown has been hard for me because, as Waterfountain said, time is heavy on my hands and I often have no choice but to fixate on my failure, my disappointment, my regrets. I’m sure Harry is dealing with that but with him it’s accompanied by a sense of betrayal. That should be directed towards his wife, but he is probably brainwashed enough to see it as belonging firmly fixed towards his family.

of course he loses any real sympathy from me when he doesn’t seize the very real chances he has of doing something to change the situation - to really make the most of what life is now and strive for something new and better. Not everyone has that luxury, and to see someone who could make a change and chooses not to - it’s maddening.

No, not really . I did work for Relate many years so I got used to being introspective,both of myself and others and learnt to look at the music behind the words as they used to say.
