OT: Sometimes when you experience deep sorrow & loss, it’s best to find the funny nugget in the midst of it all! I’m sharing this photo of my Love who I lost in a tragic motorcycle accident two years ago because it always makes me laugh! He was the kindest, sweetest man I’ve ever known & I miss him every day! The whole lot of us in here struggle with the loss of someone we love, so I just thought sharing this little gem would be a sweet reminder that even though they leave us in the physical sense, the memories they gave us keeps us moving forward

What makes me furious with all this speculation about Diana’s death is all responsibility leads back to Fayed himself. IMHO.
It was his lack of security for his son and Diana, his driver (drunk or otherwise), his promotion of ideas they were engaged and/or pregnant (despite his son having another fiancé on another boat previously which created unnecessary post death speculation, it was his hotel they ate at - they could have stayed there that night, and it was his son orchestrating their date night. More than likely Fayed had been pumping up the pressure the romance to create the press hysteria.
So if Harry wants to blame someone start focusing on Fayed. His invitation to holiday. His boat. His son. His security. His car. His driver. His restaurant/hotel. His idea to push the romance/fling.

I think the Middletons saved William. They gave him a sense of normality, a family which wasn't filled with drama and a family who loved each other. They never discussed him, were always well behaved, even with the insults being thrown at them. I really believe that they provided him with a huge sense of 'how it could be' in a family.
I think the RF owe them a lot.

One of the things that is curious about this, with hindsight, is how 10 small children walked up the aisle with Meghan (and then disappeared off to the left while the boring service stuff went on ) but at the end of the service when the couple came out of the chapel where they had signed the register for their procession down the aisle, they only had 8 attendants. George and Charlotte were no longer with them in the procession (and so, weren’t in the chapel where the register was signed either, as that’s where they all came from).

In contrast just a couple of months later when Jack and Eugenie were married at the same chapel, George and Charlotte walked up the aisle with the bride, and then later walked out of the chapel right behind them following the signing of the register, and then were behind the couple as they walked down the aisle.

It’s a small thing, that obviously drew no attention at all at the time. Looking back however, and knowing the allegations (to be clear, not the ones recently made on this thread that I’ve honestly never heard before! And the counter-allegations, lets be fair..) that have been made, it’s certainly interesting.

Just want to say that I won't be around much today. It's my 29th wedding anniversary so I'm spending the day with hubby. At the moment he's in the other sitting room arguing loudly with his best man I've been listening to those two row for well over 30 years, lol. Lovely that our friend came to wish us the best today though.

It helps a lot with my anxiety. It's a nice little community we have going on here.

It is helping me get over the death of my husband in July. This ‘family’ gives me a reason to smile every day at their humorous comments, the drawings, the altered photos, the songs and even the new swear words I have learnt. Just love being a part of it.

6 is not emotionally mature enough to handle the fact that Diana was no angel so you can guarantee that anything he's been told as he grew up will have been extremely sanitised.

I wonder whether it has ever occurred to him that digging into the details of his mother's life and death could reveal things about her that will haunt him for the rest of his life.

They've married twice already, once in public in Windsor and also three days before in the garden with the archbishop. They need a third go now?

All true, but as we've seen over the last few years there's one rule for the Stoats and another rule for the others. In fact, in the RF there don't seem to be any "rules" at all and they play each situation and person by ear to suit themselves. They had HR rules in place when the Stoats were bullying their aides, but "new HR rules were introduced" after the event. I doubt anything actually changed at all, the rules were always there but were bent for the Stoats. You don't need "rules" to tell you that bullying underlings is wrong - and against the law.

Any reports the RF don't like are squashed and the Palace corridors are littered with fall guys. The Stoats are indulged and allowed free rein, the Courts give them a free pass. PA's medals were earned (most of them afaik). Stoat's were unearned, given to appease him because he sulked at the sight of William's scrambled egg.

I hope Stoat's not coming back as CG of the Royal Marines, like a rotting orange. They don't want him but others didn't want PA and they got him. Why is the CG post still open?
Edward deserves to be made Duke of Edinburgh, but will he be? Why is he an Earl while his brothers are Dukes, even his measly Stoat nephew?

The RF are a family of secrecy and total lack of transparency, the rules a moveable feast. It's always been like that and though they've modernised in some superficial ways like being a bit woke and greenhouse-gas fixated, at their core they've not moved on much at all.

I'm moving on and moving away from them.
I can only be patient for so long.

When Harry quit his role it is my opinion that whatever needed to be done to remove him and any of his children from the line of succession should have been done then and he would be out of it by now.

He isn't.


Andrew should be invisible now. Instead the Queen has him escort her down the aisle at Prince Philip's memorial service.
And she allows Harry and wife to still behave as Royals.

They are supposed to serve us.
They (except Camilla) don't even reply to letters of concern.

They waffle on about climate change and flit about in helicopters and planes to give woke speeches.

They talk about saving the planet and about conservation, yet they hunt.
George was taken hunting by William and they smeared blood on his face.
William is making woke speeches now as well so he's as bad as his father and brother.

The future of the monarchy is on a knife edge.
When the Queen passes, it is going to get ugly for Charles.

I'm losing respect for them and it's because of Harry the traitor and his narcissistic wife being allowed to continue their self serving behaviour without consequence.

Here in Spain the previous King, Juan Carlos, has gone to live in Dubai due to accepting money from rich Arabs, having various girlfriends and going on killing safaris (killing elephants, etc)
He came back recently for a couple of days and his son, King Felipe, told him you are embarrassing the Crown, you'd better stay in Dubai

Why can't Queen Elizabeth do the same with the Harkles?
