The entire British media was warned according to Newsweek "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's team at Schillings have sent letters to British media organizations warning the allegations in the article are defamatory and "should not be repeated."
It will be interesting to see what happens. Great swathes of the British Press, especially the popular publications, are instinctively conservative / patriotic - Telegraph, Mail, Times, Sun. Between them you'd have to imagine they've got a) decent connections to BP and b) tit-hot libel lawyers. If they do print then you'd have to assume it's either game on for a trial and open season on H & HW, or H & HW will be forced into a climb-down.

What a bleeping joke! Seems that a lot of the American media is still on their side
Are there any Americans on this thread that can share why their media is so obsessed with these idiots? Is it just because Meghan is American and that’s being clinged on to? Or do they genuinely like these people?

Managed to get my husband to engage in abit of chat about the toxic two this evening. He’s very laid back and hates gossip (prefers golf and sports 🙄), but even he was saying that they’ve degraded the royal family almost into tabloid fodder like the Kardashians.
I’m hoping the papers start reporting things ‘gloves off’. We’ll see!
I agree with your hubby. It's fast coming to the point where irreparable damage is going to be done if they are not seen to act decisively soon.

This is turning into a two-ring circus.

My own view of this is that it's veiled blackmail. The RF needs to start fighting fire with fire and start leaking that nice big fat portfolio they have on her.

Ooooooooh. Fantastic. An actual hero is among us. Thank you, @NorthernValkyrie !
I can hardly go on Twitter. It ties my brain up in a knot of anger. You need the hide of an elephant and the equanimity of a Buddha not to do yourself a mischief. I just don't think my blood pressure could handle it.
Anyway, I came across this noxious, rancid git just now - @SussexHenryVIII. I would dearly like to see that twatteruser dealt with in the traditional Tudor manner reserved for traitors. The account has lots of followers though, so mind your mental health and cover your tracks.
Just tried to look at this account, and I'm blocked - again, I've never heard of them!! The sugars have got nothing better to do than go round looking for accounts to block 😂 😂

Genuinely embarrassed for the people that stick up for the Sussexes so religiously. It’s weird. How can people really still think they are so amazing after everything they’ve done? Almost as weird as grown adults buying ‘The Bench’ CHILDRENS BOOK because they love Sparkles.

Just how many people do Archewell employ? If it's only them 2 it's a joke that Scooby Doo is saying they are leading by example and offers employees 20 weeks.

Palace frustration over Lilibet name choice is part of wider annoyance over Sussexes’ departure (telegraph.co.uk)
Behind a pay wall I'm afraid.
Still catching up, but Telegraph article posted below, if others haven't beaten me to it:

Palace frustration over Lilibet name choice is part of wider annoyance over Sussexes’ departure
Courtiers appear increasingly concerned the couple are attempting to draw a distinction between the Queen and the institution she represents

Buckingham Palace has refused to deny a BBC report that the Queen was 'never asked' her opinion on the couple’s decision to name their daughter Lilibet CREDIT: John Stillwell/Reuters

Amid the briefing war that has broken out between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Buckingham Palace and the BBC, what the Queen actually thinks about Harry and Meghan naming their newborn daughter Lilibet has become rather a secondary issue.
The palace’s refusal to deny BBC royal correspondent Jonny Dymond’s report that Her Majesty was "never asked" her opinion on the couple’s decision to name the baby after her childhood nickname speaks volumes about the ongoing disconnect between the institution and the Sussexes’ stateside operation.
Royal aides have become increasingly vexed by Harry and Meghan’s representatives - both official and self-appointed - claiming to speak for the 95-year-old monarch when they are in no position to do so.
Claiming the couple would not have called their second child Lilibet without the Queen’s backing, their LA-based "global press secretary" Toya Holness told The Telegraph: "The Duke spoke with his family in advance of the announcement, in fact his grandmother was the first family member he called.

"During that conversation, he shared their hope of naming their daughter Lilibet in her honor. Had she not been supportive, they would not have used the name."
Yet despite the Sussexes' lawyers, Schillings, accusing the BBC of defamation, the statement does not contradict the thrust of Mr Dymond’s report that the Queen was told, rather than asked, about the baby’s name.

The suggestion that she might have voiced disapproval when presented with the news of the arrival of her eleventh great-grandchild has understandably raised eyebrows behind palace gates.
Not only is the great-grandmother renowned for her tendency to avoid conflict, but there is also the small matter of her actively trying to bridge the gap between the monarchy and its former "much loved" members.
As such, the general consensus appears to be that while she probably would have felt "uncomfortable" about the royal couple appropriating her late husband’s pet name for her - after everything that has happened since Harry and Meghan dropped their Megxit bombshell in January 2020 - she would hardly have been minded to rock the boat.
Courtiers also appear to be increasingly concerned that the self-exiled royal couple keep attempting to draw a distinction between the Queen and the institution she represents.
Harry and Meghan have been noticeably careful to heap praise on the sovereign, as she prepares for her Platinum Jubilee next year, while voicing criticism of "The Firm" in general.
Yet as the head of the Royal family, not to mention the Commonwealth, insiders have long argued the Queen and the monarchy are one and the same thing.
Royal aides were similarly frustrated when Harry "blamed the staff" for blocking meetings with his grandmother and father in the run up to their departure, pointing out that "that is what courtiers are paid to do".

As one put it at the time: "It’s all very well blaming the staff when you haven’t got what you want. They are working for the boss, first and foremost."
Equally problematic are the couple’s frequent public references to "conversations" with the Queen, which would ordinarily remain private.
From confiding in James Corden that "granny" bought Archie, their two-year-old son, a waffle maker for Christmas, to the revelation they "spoke to the Queen to express their sympathies" in the wake of the Duke of Edinburgh’s death in April, there is a sense of cynicism around the couple repeatedly name-checking the monarch amid briefings that calls with other members of the Royal family have been "unproductive".
This perhaps explains why sources close to the Prince of Wales have been so keen to brief this week that he is in "regular contact" with his son - in the absence of such information emanating from across the pond.
Curiously, the Sussexes tend to shy away from discussing private exchanges - unless they involve HM. It is therefore understandable that the palace may be minded to intervene when, to coin a phrase, "recollections may differ".

He’s an massive bellend anyway, does Meghan even know who he is or has he just taken it upon himself to be her personal witch?
I'll say she knows who he is! Bumboy Scrote is the ex-boyfriend of Smeg's handler SkidMarkus Anderson. Who attended Smeg's wedding, is gay and knows where all the bodies are buried. Likely had roasting sessions with Tit No.6 and filmed them at SoHo House. Just saying.

I don’t usually like agreeing with Mr Moon but I had to tonight. 😅
It’s so sad to see what the cunts have done to them, with every bit of tit they sling at the RF, and there being no response, it appears as though they are coming out on top. I just wish the men in grey suits would work quicker and leak some serious tit.. god knows there’s plenty. I think by not combatting their allegations it’s really damaging them.

They are complete arseholes and it is only because she is one of theirs and controlled by Oprah or am I wrong.??

They disgust me. Mr Biden is in for a fun couple of days perhaps he can help maybe??

How jammy these two are if they fell in a pile of tit they would come up smelling like roses
Unfortunately Mr Biden doesn’t seem to know what day it is these days. Apart from the photo call with HM some puppet in the back ground will be pulling the strings on anything important that needs to be signed etc. However, whether you like him or not Trump would have had an opinion on these two and it would been in the support of HM.

What a bleeping joke! Seems that a lot of the American media is still on their side
‘It’s CNN. Totally woke. No credibility at all.
What kind of fuckwittery is this? I hope US media gets wise to them sooner rather than later.

our media, for the most part, is at the service of the Democratic Party. The Dems have gone far-left and Woke. They have passed legislation that awards 120% of Covid damages to Black farmers, none to White. Same with restaurants. They support Critical Race Theory and Defund police. They support BLM and ignore the children and teens dying every weekend in those secret parts’ of our major cities. I posted the stats…more killed in those neighborhoods than in our supposed war zones. But those lives must not be reported, because it does not promote the BLM narrative.

They support open immigration.

Yesterday on MSNBC, a senior Editor at the NYTimes expressed her concern that she saw so many American flags on…get this…Memorial Day weekend when we honor our war dead. The point is that America is a racist society and guess what…so are you.

They will not ‘come to their senses.‘ We have media who sift thru events for agenda reporting. They ignore everything that has been revealed on Hunter Biden[s laptop thru legal release because Biden is their guy. We are quite accustomed. Don’t expect any change.

Its not about Markle being American. She is a Woke Democrat and she and her husband share those values and GOALS. TEAM SPIRIT!!!!

Here’s some consolation. Anyone who is watching CNN…already shares that opinion of the Markles and all their other narratives. So no one’s mind is being changed. People get their news from outlets that support their preconceived opinions…they don’t want to be challenged. That’s true on both sides.
