I heard a LBC presenter last week mention that they knew who the Royal was who spoke to Harry before the wedding. He didn't say a name, but thinking about his comment, Princess Anne would fit. None of the papers have run with the story today, have they? Was her name already circulating but the press won't run it without a Palace comment?
Was that Iain Dale ? At the time I had the shower on and it was quite hard to hear what was being said but I'm sure I heard that. I'd be interested to go back (they're saved aren't they?) and listen properly to what was said now . I realise he didn't say who i was.

Catherine is currently being crucified on Twitter for laying flowers at the memorial site for Sarah Everard, BEFORE the vigil. Sussex Squad types are out in force complaining that she wasn't wearing a mask (not a legal requirement in the UK) when she wears a mask in the car (presumably to protect her RPOs?) Cressida Dick stupidly said that Catherine was allowed to lay flowers because she was 'working' which has caused uproar - Meghan sugars are saying this proves it was a PR exercise. When in reality it was perfectly legal for Catherine to lay flowers in Clapham Common, before the vigil started.
She wasn't working, all the reporting made it clear that she was there in a private capacity. IF she had been "working" she would have been dressed in her usual official outfits with perfect hair and make up and had press and cameras with her like Charles just did at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior in Greece.

Did KP take the opportunity to remind people that she was touched by Sarah's death because she used to be a woman who felt in danger on the streets? Yeah but that's why she wanted to go in spite of everything. There were even articles in the papers saying she knew she would get attacked for using it for PR but went anyway. I think she'd rather be lumped in as a "protester" than anything else.

Cressida Dick is an idiot liability and has been for over 20 years.

Disappointed by Idris Elba there. He's promoting Meghan's lie when he says stuff like 'You cannot take someone's voice away'. Yes you can - it's called agreeing to represent your employer when you take a job, not spouting your own opinions. And when was the Megster ever 'silent' with her enormous press team: interviews, podcasts, those banana slogans, articles for Vogue, speeches, panels, round tables...

Was that Iain Dale ? At the time I had the shower on and it was quite hard to hear what was being said but I'm sure I heard that. I'd be interested to go back (they're saved aren't they?) and listen properly to what was said now . I realise he didn't say who i was.
Yes, pretty sure it was Iain Dale, but I can't remember if it was on LBC or on his podcast.. I think 'the name' has been circulating for a while - Chris Ship said he had heard who it was.

Twitter's own rules are clear - 'You may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so. This includes wishing or hoping that someone experiences physical harm.'
Obviously, their reactions to complaints are glacially slow.
How about we all contact our MPs and any other influential people we can think of to ask for some sort of regulator of social media. Discussion here in Politics Home from 2020. It's a tricky area because it immediately goes galumphing into issues like free speech and freedom of expression.

Did he have any comments on all the lies the voice tells?
Or when the voice is just in her own pretty li'l head, telling her to lead a BLM army against the English. Megheanne d'Arkle heading for a roasting.

Good grief Twitter is full of people inciting hate. They obviously don't have enough moderators to police it all.

I'm in 2 minds about this. Obviously nobody should be sending threats or inciting hatred but on the other hand I've seen forums fall down due to excessive moderation. Digital Spy (spits) is one of them. The moderation on there is appalling and has led to a woke chamber of doublethink where only accepted opinions are allowed.
This has led me to be very wary about censorship because this power can be politicised and put into the wrong hands.

I find it hilarious that the sugars seem to think that Meghan was some sort of Angelina Jolie level Hollywood actress feminist icon before she met Harry. She was a minor cable TV actress who occasionally appeared as an extra in low budget films (mostly tarty women - how appropriate) and she slept her way up the ladder. I will never forgive Harry for allowing himself to be duped by a narcissistic former briefcase girl and introducing her into the RF.

This bothers me too. Both Harry and Meghan have a collective amnesia about their pasts and are demanding that the rest of us forget her taking off her clothes for various roles and the strip barbecue for Men's Health magazine and Harry putting on a Nazi uniform and calling colleagues disgusting racist names along with homophobic remarks.

The audacity it takes to accuse your own family of racism on global tv, when Harry would actually be number one in everyone's minds if asked to name a racist member of the RF, is breathtaking. It doesn't surprise me at all that the nauseating Omid Scobie is essentially telling everyone to forget about the wedding lie too. It really pisses me off being told what to remember and what to think, especially by t***s, so if I hadn't closed my Twitter account on the grounds of abuse and threats from Sugars, I would be very tempted to respond to Omid's comment. I'd ask him to mention to Harry and Meghan that if they stop lying and being complete f***wits, they won't make even greater t***s of themselves by demanding we erase our memories.

Except of course, I'm absolutely certain Omid is a a personna non grata when it comes to H&M. He didn't even know the location of the Oprah interview and couldn't be arsed to check, so made a t**t of himself by repeating what other people had said, all of whom were wrong. Let's face it, Omid isn't fit to kiss Oprah's feet. He's small fry.

In that video, " a day in the life of Meghan Markle " , she refers to herself in the third person as " little Meg" when looking at childhood photos of herself. Bit odd.

So true. Any kind of censorship cuts both ways. I remember well the Green Wave in Iran, where the demonstrations were being organised through Twitter. It looked like such a great moment of liberation. Now, Twitter is in a purity death spiral.🙁
Maybe massive boycotts by big names are the only way - reduce it to the internet's crazy corner with no influence.

I read somewhere that this is a sign of some particular kind of psychopathology. Certainly my own evil ex (a diagnosed sociopath/narc) would often refer to himself in the third person. Trump did it sometimes too, if I recall.

Been off here for a few days so someone might have said it but I can’t believe that co star who’s come out and said M was the ‘wrong woman for the RF to mess with’?!

What is this absolute madness, she’s not some kind of formidable, powerful woman! She is literally just a tart who got lucky. Not a very feminist thing for me to say but it’s true isn’t it! Well I don’t consider myself a ‘feminist’ anyway but I mean I support her right to appear in whatever she likes dressed in whatever she likes but it’s the pretence that she’s this strong, powerful, dignified role model

Meghan as President ugh
Serious delusions of grandeur. It’s like she’s forgotten she’s only become (in)famous fairly recently because of who she married?! Nothing to do with talent, intelligence or merit

He was a minor character on the show-- he played the boyfriend of a main character and was barely there, hardly a "co-star." The show he's on now is on its last or next to last season and he's about to melt back into obscurity again.

Snarkles won't last 5 minutes in politics. She can't get over an insignificant row over tights and couldn't hack low grade duties as a royal !

She will never stand up for scrutiny against opponents with a high level of intelligence. They will run rings around her in a debate. Not to mention the fact that all her dirty laundry will be brought out in public. This is all showboating.
My guess is that she will stay in production Netflix or films.

The Queen’s been out and about again finally today, at an RAF memorial. She looks great, but she’s definitely aged and shrunk a bit more this last year ☹ My Gran was her exact age and we lost her and grandad a week apart this last Christmas to Covid. She doesn’t have many years left and I’ll never forgive Haznoballs for putting her through all this. I’ve spent the last few years spending every bit of time I could with my grandparents just because I knew they wouldn’t be around for much longer. He’s a disgrace.

And since this has been mentioned several times in this thread lately and it made me laugh:

‘The Queen was in typically good spirits today as she laughed and joked with fellow attendees - and even asked an RAAF officer working with Typhoon jets if they were 'being sent off to chase the Russians?'

According to ITV's royal correspondent Chris Ship, Her Majesty asked another air force personnel about working with Typhoon jets in Northumberland.

The Queen asked: 'Are they being sent off to chase the Russians?'

He replied: 'That's correct ma'am, it's a lot of fun for us!'

The Queen responded simply, 'Hmm'

Exactly, and it’s been said before but I don’t think she’s intelligent in the slightest to be honest, judging by how she’s played this whole thing. She had it all at her feet but she couldn’t even play the game, she had to throw a fit and run away.

I honestly don’t think she’ll even get many gigs like that ie in production. She’s talentless and her name is seriously tarnished. I can’t imagine many people outside of the woke minority flocking to watch a series executive produced by Meghan Markle:sick:

Their agent rings your agent, favours are called in.
Celeb, however minor, is given the script or quote to spout to support other celeb in tight corner.
Quid pro quo, my back is scratched, so is yours.

Play the game, otherwise you’ll never eat lunch (vegan) in this town again etc.

:mad: All of these bleeping idiots attended the wedding and enjoyed the hospitality of the RF. Idris Elba, Patrick Adams, Oprah. But now it’s convenient the RF are a disgusting inherently racist institution and good on Meghan for bringing them down :mad:

Disgusting champagne socialists and do as I say not as I do attitude

edit- speaking of guests, remember Charles really looking after Doria on the day!? What a racist horrible family! Didn’t welcome them with open arms at all!
