I’ve been thinking. When H started seeing Smeg, the palace must have done background checks on her. Using mi5 or similar. They would have unearthed everything about her. Marriages, yaughting , bullying, porn, social climbing etc. On receipt of the information William then advised H to not rush into things with “that girl”.

Like a petulant teenager, this just made him dig his heels in and do the opposite. When they got engaged, Kate and William welcomed her but Kate was advised to keep a distance and not divulge anything as M could use it to her advantage. M realised she had been sussed by the family and because she had an agenda made her super wary and sensitive.

As her true and historic colours became apparent the family closed ranks and the Queen told them to either knuckle down or leave.

As M’s place in the family was now untenable they chose to leave and that’s why they are so resentful.

I honestly think that if it was their choice only....why then are they so very bitter?

Just watching the Commonwealth, and I just think there was no way Meghan ever would fit in to the family! The trouble with her is she doesn't want to listen to others.
