It's very telling that none of the 'big' stars are coming out to defend her such as the Clooneys, Beyonce, Serena or even Elton John. He's been very quiet.

Hi everyone, not been here for eons. Can we talk about Harry's shoes in the Oprah interview - they are like tramps shoes, old & scuffed. In fact I think they are the same ones he wore for Archies's christening which he drew criticism for being a scruffy git. And there are other stories of him wearing brogues with holes in as a best man at a wedding., Just weird - and Why? Surely he can afford a new pair of dolly blues.

evidence - rancid old tramps shoes attached from Opra photo.

Link to christening shoes https://footwearnews.com/2019/fashi...ce-harry-shoes-christening-archie-1202803293/
Yes, same grey J Crew suit and same suede desert boots. It's jarring. Even if he is personally disorganised and sloppy, the staff around him should have sorted out his wardrobe for his big, prime-time TV special being shown all around the world. THE DUCHESS found time to organise her Armani birdpoop horror, but didn't appear to give two hoots about her husband. Very, very odd.

I think all the big stars are savvy enough to realise that it is better to keep the royal family onside rather than throw support behind a pair of also-rans. Being seen and associated with true royalty brings kudos. The A++Listers will cross paths and be rubbing shoulders with the RF at events in the future. Actors from Suits will not.

Guys I feel broken and shit scared about tomorrow and the following days. Its embarrassing to say butbi could barely sleep last night and I have work on Monday so will need good sleep tomorrow lol

I'm just sick that she's winning, celebrities are supporting her (my favourite jen aniston is liking Oprah Instagram about the interview) my heart breaks and rages for kate. Shes the victim, she deserves the front page apologies my meghans gang and sugars. I want meghan and Harry to get what they deserve, full exposure with evidence so that nobody can rationally defend her anymore. Part of me wishes William or James, or Carol or her friends go scorched earth defending Kate.

Don't these celebs or people who preach kindness get that they are dogpiling on kate to defend meghan. The hypocrisy is astonishing. Kates done nothing yet shes the enemy when defending the Sussexes. What happened to not putting another woman with kids down. I genuinely just feel so low and within this framework of privileged royal life I want justice!

I want the world to know just how thoroughly vicious and evil hm are.
To all those who are feeling that this is all too much.
Remember . This is a drop in the ocean.
Life is all around you and not just on these pages.
You are all worth much more than those two sitting in self isolated glory.
They may end up as foot notes in history, but you will all have lived lives with genuine love and laughter, tears and pain.
Any acting you will have done will most likely be to give you confidence to face another day.
And then you realise, as my Highland granny also used to say, this too will pass.

And when it's all over etc I'll remember the frustration but also the laughs you all gave me.

Now as I tell my teenagers. Too much social media is bad. FOMO is definitely a thing, but restrict yourself just like on the strictest diet and don't feel bad if you miss bits. Trust me it all cycles round again.

Just to add, if Schillings could only get the words changed from 'thrown' to 'knocked over' then that's confirmed there was a tea incident involving an assistant.

Barely keeping up so sorry if this has been mentioned, but what Meghan is really objecting to is that she wasn't able to break protocol.

She wasn't able to (though still did the asterisked)
  • do an Oprah interview when she was engaged
  • pick and choose her engagements*
  • stand/walk in front of certain people*
  • accept freebies from designers
  • wear the tiara she wanted for her wedding
  • wear items with bad providence (?) like the Saudi earrings*
  • wear pantyhose*
  • wear dark nail polish*
  • wear a non-British designer to Archie's christening*
  • be political
  • etc.
There's a whole list in a Cosmopolitan article here with the introduction:

BIB: Does the author not realise that's the whole point? If you sign up for a royal role, you follow and obey protocol because that's the price for public service.

Meghan's core grievance seems to be: they wouldn't let me do what I want. Which really means: they wouldn't let me break protocol. Hence why she was oppressed and miserable and it was "unsurvivable". Utterly ludicrous when protocol is the backbone of the monarchy? Just what is she on? It's insane how she expected to waltz in and have the rules bent and broken to suit her. Though as others on the thread have already pointed out -- breaking protocol in this way and then bleating about how awful it was absolutely plays into her victim narrative, when really, BP was just trying to hold her accountable to rules which the rest of the family follow.

I need a drink...
This is so aggravating. They are not pointless "historic rules", it is protocol for a head of state.

All of these rules are because our head of state and the royal family are paid for by the taxpayer. Like it our not they are part of our country.

They can't be political because it's not their place.
She couldn't wear a non-British designer because they are supposed to representing and promoting our country.
She can't wear controversial items because they can't be seen to be supporting bad regimes.

She had the extreme privilege of joining a tax-payer funded family whose job is to represent the UK and the Commonwealth. She decided she didn't want to do anything that that entailed, and is now literally pretending to be persecuted. Entitled cunt.

I have to honest, this is the one thing I have to defend her from because I see this brought up a lot. The fact she felt that putting ‘Caucasian’ would aid her career is pretty sad and doesn’t necessarily mean she ‘chose’ to keep her heritage hidden. It’s one of things that, for once, validates the claims she has suffered from racism.
With respect, I can't agree with you on this. I'd have said that it proves that she, herself, is racist. She plays the race card when it suits her. She certainly never stood up for black people whilst being white. Half of my family is black and they don't get to do that. Neither would they ever play the race card. They'd consider that to be beneath them.

Markus Anderson

Could you put in a dog-flap? You could stay glued to tattle with your glass of whisky or cocoa, and it would be worth it because there's a lot more to come. Or train your dog to wee quicker and get a Bonio as a reward?

Of course this will all be having a negative effect on the Queen, but she's got right on her side, brilliant lawyers and solid family and public support. It's very sad that this is happening to them at this time in their lives.
Minge on the other hand has a flaky and confused puppet by her side and is supported by the likes of Scrotie Scobie, porn star Abigail and Jameela Jamil. In addition she is constantly let down by a clueless PR team with an LA ethos failing to deal with a centuries-old monarchy that will wipe the floor with them.
ETA I'd not put it past Minge to fake a miscarriage, and I think Hazzno would go along with it, like before.
ETA2 I wonder if they put that copyright on the Farchy photo to stop the press investigating.
Know what? I think Brenda will be coping just fine. Certainly she'll be disappointed in her grandson but I think she was waiting for him to explode for years so has steeled herself for it. As for the fall out from the interview, I doubt it will fizz on her TBH. She's been there done that and seen off worse in her time and has a backbone of steel and a very pragmatic attitude. She's been careful to surround herself with hugely trustworthy advisors and on matters of policy and the Monarchy she will do as they advise even if it hurts her heart. Her personal feelings will be set aside and I honestly think decisions have already been made to cover whatever happens in the aftermath of haz and the ho's pity party.

;)If they just moan and bitch in unfounded accusations then the " So sad they feel like this, hopefully they'll get over it and move on to enjoy their privacy and new life away from us toxic monsters. Good luck to them" statement is ready and waiting.
In the unlikely event they ditch their titles, the "Oh dear, so sad. Never mind, bye bye" statement is already on file too.
The wording will be more fluffy hearts and flowers, but those will be the sentiments.
Never worry, Brenda is tough when she needs to be, she doesn't do knee jerk reactions. That's why she let them have the year to think things over. She knows haz is gormless and smeggy is trailer park trash happy to roll in the gutter so the year was always going to be controlled by the narc and would be a crazy ride, and she let them keep digging and digging in deeper. She knew this was coming the minute she saw the wedding guest list and will be prepared.
It's Williiam and Kate I feel sorry for. He's lost a brother and is hurt for his beloved grandparents and Kate is dreading being villified and the whole affair thing being dragged up just as they'd moved on. Chas, who knows, he created the monster in their midst, both physically and in character by spoiling the middle aged brat. But Brenda will be fine.

They've played the 'slight acquaintances old friends speak out' card, and the secret Archie photo card.

What next? I'm thinking hospital dash due to 'stress'. Or maybe another drone invasion?

(I do not wish anyone a genuine health problem.....)

Is anyone here looking forward to the Oprah interview?

The way I'm feeling about it is that I really want it to hurry up and be over so we can stop being bombarded with teaser trailers in every ad break!
It's like waiting to go to the dentist (if you have a phobia) - you know it's going to have to happen, you don't really want to have to endure it but you just want it to hurry up so that it's done and dusted!

I don't think I want to watch it as I just can't cope with their simpering and whining but I'm quite interested to see the fallout afterwards. Just hope it doesn't cause too much distress to poor old Queenie.
My gut instinct is telling me they have massively over-egged all the publicity and the average person is bored to death and baffled by the drama.

I'm more interested in the aftermath now than the interview!

On Patrick Adams , (I'm not using the pretentious "J") dissing our Royals and heritage.
tell me Paddy, when you were a nobody jobbing actor what was it that first attracted you to the daughter of Donald P Bellisario, creator of such hugely successful shows as CSI, NCIS, Law and Order, plus older shows like Magnum PI, and thus a Squillionaire?

Patrick himself fell for an earlier co-star, Troian Bellisario, who he worked with on the play Equivocation in 2009.
The pair dated for a year and then broke up, but Patrick was determined to win her back.
So, after Troian scored a role in Pretty Little Liars, Patrick got himself a bit-part and surprised her at the table read-through
.
They got back together, got engaged in 2014 and married in 2016.

Ewwww, :eek:stalker alert ! Now that's just creepy, in my opinion Paddy.

Is there an equivalent to Pom's penis ladder for blokes? NO POM, don't you dare:ROFLMAO:

I want to emphasise again:

1. Meghan’s friends trying to defend her and their defence holds no (evidential) value. They’re not direct witnesses to the alleged bullying events and their comments don’t matter. They may provide character reference (if they’re allowed to), but their comments have nothing to do what what is being investigated here, i.e. whether or not Meghan bullied the staff. A person can be both a bully to some people and nice to others.

2. BP did the right thing to investigate now. Sure, they could have acted more quickly, maybe 2/3 years ago. But they’re not too late yet. Any delay now will be unreasonable and reputationally damaging, so they won’t and shouldn’t stop investigating just because Meghan blames BP for the bad timing.

3. We are very bored of the excessive use of the victim (by British media), race, gender (whatever woke) cards by Meghan. She hasn’t addressed the issue in question directly. She’s trying to shift the public attention by blaming others, and bullying the BP into pausing their investigation.

4. Completely agree with Lady C. The bullied victims have rights too. The royal household as the employer has relevant guidance or policy on treating people with respect at work; if not there may be applicable English employment laws. The employer (BP) will investigate and obtain evidence, if the allegations stand, Meghan should be subject to disciplinary actions; like employees in most other companies. Just because she is a duchess by marriage or an American citizen doesn’t mean she should be able to get away with this.

Edit to add: Why is she so eager to bully BP into halting the investigation? What’s she afraid of? What will BP find? I think we all can guess 😂

I don't believe this completely OTT, truly nauseating defence of Meghan by an actress she worked with called Abigail Spencer has been posted yet- sorry not sure how to link it. "Picture butterflies trying to hug" what on earth?!!
“Picture butterflies trying to hug” ?
Oh give me a break!!! 🤮🤮🤮

ETA: and this delightful bit of word salad

“There are some people who are so bright and exude such deep purpose that they change the molecules in the air simply through their being. She was all of this from the moment I met her fourteen years ago” 🤢

Someone pointed out in the previous thread that some people support Meghan now because they’re likely to be bullies themselves and I completely agree. They also try to sell it as ‘American work ethics’ for a women of colour to play the nationality and racism cards.

It’s irrelevant how Meghan has treated her friends, people who are superior or at the same level as her - basically people who have values to her or she can use - because we all know how hypocritical, snobby and vain she is. She markles people who have no use/value to her such as her father. And of course she is extremely nice, kind and friendly to people who she can use for her social climbing and financial benefits.

I am convinced that she has treated her assistants badly and even bullied them. She is arrogant and enjoys having powers and titles beyond others. Unless an ex or current royal staff member comes forward to defend her, defence from her friends holds no value at all.

She’s so fake and for her to preach feminism, equality or even socialism is so disgusting. She’s the exact opposite of those , and she’s just full of hypocrisy!!

First comment I see on Sir Alan Sugars tweet...

"Is it because she is black and he is white?"

This is why the majority stay silent, I don't believe for a second that Meghan has more support than The Queen. But if you speak out in support of TQ you are automatically branded a racist.
To people like Piers, it's water off a ducks back, but for your average Joe, it's not, hence they stay silent.
Meghan is a bully, a conniving, calculated, narcissistic bully.

This woman really has the whole situation and Smegs herself nailed.

The part where she talks about being a waitress herself and the disparity in treatment between various obvious rich people: I sometimes think people who fall for the likes of Smegs tend to lack this kind of wider experience working with human beings and do not comprehend that plenty of people show one face to their friends and quite another to people who are of no use to or socially beneath them. Or they are that kind of person and simply think it's fine to behave like a pig to get your way. Or that being someone's friend or just admiring them means you are obliged to rationalise and defend their worst behaviour.
"They won't stop until she miscarries? Fullscale take down? They were listening to my phone conversations even before the wedding.... i had no training and no support"..... the level of lies and overidulgent selfimportant high drama... i cannot. I am with @Scotchmist big tome and will need to step away.
This is a full-scale rake down of the RF by the woke brigade and Hollyweird. I guess the hollyweirdos are flexing their muscles and making sure there can only be one kind of royalty: californian royalty and that the spotlight can only be on them. Celebs win. Old school royalty loses.
The frequency of words like "obsolete" "archaic" etc when referring to the BRF has increased exponentially and now the narrative that the United Kingdom is also no longer appropriate and Scotland and Wales need their independence....
NI post brexit scuffles ... poked awake by the EU.... are on the rise
This is so completely nuts.
I'm out. For my sanity. She has won as have her backers. It just required woke statements, self-idolisation and lies/accusations repeated early and often enough that they were accepted as fact and progressive thinking=the right way to think.
She has won and will not atop until the RF fold or repent and accept Harry as the next king so she can be Kween.
This has so many tactical similarities to an extremely abusive relationship where the abuser comesnout early and frquently with a charm offense and bad mouthing the victim/target as crazy or lazy or that they are the absuer (with lots of lies as so called evidence). I feel quite sick
She won't win. We fought off Hitler and we'll fight off this disgusting cunt. The press will crucify her in the next few weeks. We do not like be labelled racist, we do not like attacks on our Queen and we don't like liars.

The press have their ducks lined up ready to fire. She has no idea what's coming her way from the British press who almost universally despise her.
The woke idiots and sugars on Twitter can foam at the mouth as much as they want but Meghan will never win.

I just can’t take Abigail Spencer seriously.

A few years ago someone mentioned on a forum that she was on YouPorn so perv that I am I went to have a look, and there she was in all her glory frigging herself with great enthusiasm.

It was definitely her (I know her from a show called Rectify) - she has floppy tits if anyone’s interested.

It was a homemade thing, btw, not an actual porn film. Such classy mates Markle has.
