I have a seen a similar scenario here in the US. Along a major interstate, a huge area of mature trees were cut down….to make room for rows and rows of solar panels! All those trees destroyed, the ecosystem disturbed, the forest creatures displaced. And… this solar panel field is so far from any city!! So transmission lines need to be installed to connect this energy to the cities. Why not just put these panels on the buildings in the city?! It’s really disturbing.
