Excellent news isn't it? At last they are getting wise to her and frankly it's embarrassing that they have to have anything about this woman on their website other than 'currently married to Prince Harry'
When I looked at the original language, I thought it had no place on the Royal Family website, which is normally more factual in tone. Someone slapped up her PR copy without a rewrite - or maybe the tantrums weren't worth it.

It's not too surprising it's had a rewrite to remove the fluff and to ensure that every item can be fact checked - but they've gone further and pruned it right back. None of her patronages are named. The contrast between her minimal entry and Haz's long text is striking.

does anyone know what will happen if there is a divorce in terms of finances.. especially since he doesn't have a prenup....

if it were subject to California law (as far as I am aware) it comes down to splitting the money which was made during the marriage (I am going by the Johnny and Amber divorce). There would be the problem of the marriage taking place in the UK and the child of the marriage being born in the UK, and the Queen apparently has custody of the child. However, try getting Archie back from the US who presumably couldn't care less as to whether the Queen has custody of royal kiddies.

If Harry is calling Doria "Mom" - I wonder what Archie is calling her?
B**ch

Well if Cali law means she will get half of what they have made whilst being married...that won't take alot of counting unless I missed some news...maybe she will owe him
Or maybe they won't need any money where they are going...just pity

It seems like they let her have it when she joined because it wasn't a fight worth having so yeah she can blow smoke up her our ass in something that reads like a Z list actress definitely trying to polish up her limited resume. Then she left a hot minute later so now they're paring it down to reflect that because all that guff was hot air and insincerity anyway.

With Haz they're still hoping he'll come back one way or the other and he's still a member of the family, albeit the very black sheep prodigal son at the moment.

If a divorce happens it's going to be nasty. What's the betting that Harry will suddenly be as snobbish, uncaring, racist and nasty etc etc as they and Scooby Doo said about the rest of the family? With lots of extra awful ISMS added in. And that's just the printable parts. The rest will be Depp/Heard and Waleses in toxicity and TMI.

His money is tied up in an iron clad trust. She'll be lucky to walk away with a portion of his army pension and a handshake. Two to three years isn't a long time.

Child allowance will come into it, that'll be a fair old chunk. Poor Charles.

In case it won’t load I’ve put it in a spoiler

Is there anything we do not know about Harry and Meghan? They might have ‘stepped back’ as senior royals in order to avoid the media spotlight. They might have a habit of suing newspapers and photographers for breaching their privacy and a fondness for elaborate screens and fences around their various homes. But with the publication of Finding Freedom, there is surely no intimate detail of this apparently privacy-loving couple’s life that has not been made public.

We now know, word for word, the advice big brother William offered Harry when his relationship with Meghan first seemed to be getting serious – and, of course, we know exactly what Harry thought of this ‘snobby’ intervention. We know about their first date: ‘it was as if Harry was in a trance’; we know that Meghan performed a ‘perfect’ yoga pose after discussing marriage with Harry; that she FaceTimed a friend from her bath to discuss her father; we know the exact meal Harry ate with the Queen before their final meeting at Windsor. On and on it goes. No detail is too personal or simply too trivial to be left unshared.

Despite revealing details that presumably only people who were in the room when it happened could ever conceivably know, we are expected to believe that Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie wrote Finding Freedom without input from the Sussexes. But Harry and Meghan’s silence speaks volumes. There are no threats of lawsuits against Durand and Scobie. We can only conclude that the Duke and Duchess very much approve.

And why shouldn’t they? In Finding Freedom our intrepid heroes bravely triumph over the snobby brother, the unfriendly sister-in-law and pompous palace officials. Their personal journey towards freedom and validation in a cruel world generates acres of sympathetic publicity. Pictures of a radiant Meghan smiling coyly, hand-in-hand with her defiant prince, accompany every piece. This is no doubt immensely useful when you are busy trying to market yourself as a high profile public speaker.

It’s easy to see what Harry and Meghan gain from all this drama. But what about the rest of us? Why are we so fascinated by ‘Duchess Difficult’ and the woke journey of the erstwhile ‘Playboy Prince’?

It’s not just the plot-twists and cliffhangers that keep us hooked. Harry and Meghan – and their complicated relationship with the Royal Family – reflect back to us in salacious bite-sized chunks the many ways in which society is changing. The Sussexes serve up for our delectation the generational differences that can lead to strained relationships between parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren.

The Queen is not just a monarch and head of state but a 94-year-old great grandmother: Harry may choose to reject her as an employer but remains tied to her by blood. Yet he has opted for a radically different set of values than those he inherited at birth.
Where Harry and Meghan share every intimate detail of their lives with the world, the Queen and Prince Philip offer only rare snapshots. We know how Harry and Meghan feel about everything and everyone: the Queen and Prince Philip keep their counsel. Her Majesty embodies a lifelong commitment to service and duty, Harry and Meghan seem dedicated only to themselves. Whereas the Queen, as head of state, is rooted within the nation, Harry and Meghan have more in common with a global elite than people here in the UK.
These differences soon become political. The Queen might carefully avoid expressing her views in public but Harry and Meghan have no such compunction. From feminism to Black Lives Matter to environmentalism, we know exactly where their sympathies lie. Through the Sussexes we see exactly how corrosive woke politics are to personal relationships. Finding Freedom turns up one family grievance after another.
The couple seem to perceive microaggressions everywhere. From William’s advice that Harry should take things slowly with ‘this girl’ to complaints from staff who do not want to be emailed instructions at 5am, every encounter is deemed to be an expression of deep-rooted racism. Relationships cannot survive such scrutiny. Loyalty to family, monarchy and country is jettisoned in the desire to expose every awkward glance and clumsy phrase. The more hard done the Duke and Duchess appear, the more sympathy they garner from friends and allies.
Finding Freedom suggests that Harry and Meghan are a thin-skinned couple prepared to sell out close family members in the name of settling petty gripes and grievances. They seem to care about nothing and no one other than themselves. Yet their story fascinates us because it represents the clash of values playing out at the heart of our own society and within our own families: between a culture based on dignity and one based on victimhood. Sadly for the Sussexes, exposing microaggressions and making personal grievances public does not appear to make for a happy life.

Nobody who is on her payroll in any form will ever say no, or even "Maybe that's not the thing to do your High Highness" because they're enjoying sending another invoice for their services and it's all very easy money ... ker-ching! Nor do they have friends who give a shit enough to point out potential own goals or mishaps. Nobody cares about them. Just Haz's family(about him) and they are keeping their noses out and letting the farce play outso they can't be accused of shit stirring.
Haz is stubborn and is digging his heels in, but he's also hot tempered and when he blows it will be spectacular.

Can't help feeling that as and when a divorce is announced that there will be national outpourings of joy and corks a-popping......

Malibu Meg

The next thing is they'll take out a page in the Times to deny rumours of a split (like Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere), which will, of course, preempt a split

I read her book during lockdown. Yes she was much maligned and thrown under the bus over her sleeping around, but she also knew what she was doing and thought long and hard(she says) before delivering the stolen papers to the russians on behalf of Stephen Ward because she knew they were dynamite that Ward was too cunning to deliver himself. She knew what Cliveden was about and introduced Mandy R D and other girls into that group so was a bit of a recruiter of fannies for hire, which could have had her charged with pandering style charge as well. The big names involved over Cliveden and who was shagging who and who had open marriages was one hell of an eye opener for me. I thought such orgiastic behaviour in politics a more recent invention,
To be fair she was lucky not to do a long stretch for treason rather than the less than 9 months she did for perjury.
Don't get me wrong, I feel sorry for how she was used but the book she wrote about it all indicates she knew what she was doing most of the time and just enjoyed being involved and useful. She's very frank in the book and I highly recommend it.

The main thing is that it just tickles my funny bone that Haz's bride to be was lodged in a place that was a den of orgies for the wealthy and crooked politicians ... kind of like a land lubber version of 'yacht girs R us' and just a perfect fit for her.

i hate those sugars! I still don't understand how they can support and defend someone they have never met in real life! She's enabling them to do all the dirty work for her, while she sits behind that borrowed mansion planning who to litigate next.
Same way people defend Michael Jackson..? There was a case not so long ago, where an american actress has 2 children by a man who lived in Monaco. The kids were taken to the USA and the actress grassed him up about how he'd obtained his visa and he was sent back. Because of her devious and underhanded behaviour the courts (both american and European) granted full custody to the father.

It will be a triple paid public holiday
All churches will be ringing bells
Street parties like never before
this will obviously be planned for next year
When Corona has been sent packing along with moldy minge and her case of assorted moon bumps and horse hair extensions
Archie if he is not just been borrowed for pap pics will live a happy life after daddy has finished therapy With the help of his aunties and uncles and play bare foot with his cousins
If a picture of mouldy minge with daddy is seen and he asked who it is they will say she was a cleaner who hoovered on yachts
We can all dream
