Many of you will remember me wittering on about Just call me Harry's Travalyst and couldn't wait to see what they intend to do. i wait no more as I just got email from Skyscanner (along with goodness knows how many others) about the coronavirus and clicked on the we are proud to be part of Travalyst icon. Soooo apart from them punting flights with lower carbon emissions they've come up with this little gem:

We’ve also tested suggesting alternative destinations for places that particularly suffer from over-tourism on their resources, cultural sites or local environment.

So, you get all excited, you've planned your itinerary to eg Cambodia, you then look up flights on Skyscanner and they come back with no no nooo you don't want to go to Cambodia, too many tourists, we suggest you go to Chunga Chunga and see the penguins.

If I want to go to a destination I will go, they can get tae duck with their alternatives. Not going to work I'm afraid.

There was a post earlier that was a screenshot of a DM comment. The commenter said that H&M have lived apart since the Autumn, and Archie is being cared for by the royal family in the UK.

I have just been reading - 1) that the charming couple are planning a London Office base at Soho House where they are said to have had their first ’blind‘ date in a private room. ( rumoured to have really arranged by Markus Anderson, rather than the girlfriend MM implied ) , Marcus being an influencer for the Soho House chain and Meghan’s bestie.
2) As well as Harry and Meghan accepting an invitation from the Queen to join her at Balmoral this summer -the Sussexes are also expected to spend time with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall at Birkhall, Charles's retreat on the Balmoral estate.

1) A blind date in a private room???????.
2) Just picturing the faces of William, Kate and Camilla being given their good news has taken my mind off whether my groceries will be delivered next week. ( P.S. I so enjoy tattle.life.)

I agree with you Penny. I just scanned the Sussex Royal website and it just seems to be pages of waffle without any substance. It doesn't spell out what they are actually going to do and we all know that there are dozens of charities out there already.

I remember crying when I was a child when I saw some famine victims on TV and seemingly nothing has really changed in my lifetime. I've made donations over the years but I still see the same ads on TV. Now most people are aware that corruption is rife and the money donated rarely gets to those who need it. Charities just appear to be businesses in which top executives earn a lot of money and structures rarely change to enable people to help themselves.

We've all had enough of celebs like Bono popping up telling us to hand over our money when most of us are just struggling to get by. There's a huge amount of poverty in the UK and kids who can't get jobs. I've not had a holiday abroad in years because I can't afford it so celebs banging on about carbon footprints just get right up my nose.
Why not do something to help the underprivileged in this country?
