I remember the days when the Oscars and other award shows were good viewing but that was long ago now.
These days nobody has seen most of the films nominated for a Oscar and nobody knows who half the actors are.
Remember when films were entertainment? Not box ticking exercises or lecture platforms.

Well two thoughts, really. First, I don’t imagine Wills and Kate give 2 craps about Priyanka’s snub. I doubt she’s really on their radar much. But second, if she really does have a problem with actual proper royals, she can fuck off out the box and sit with the plebs. That would show some integrity, at least.The snub is real.

Feel tempted to reply to whoever Carly is that clearly "Duchess Meghan" can't have created Pearl as there is no such person as "Duchess Meghan" (its Meghan The Duchess of Sussex).
Not having a good day, the wheels of god are grinding a bit too slowly when its comes to Harry and Meghan and it turns out my chronic neck pain is arthritis (mid 40s)
Feeling very sorry for myself, struggled to do the physio exercises and gave up as they made my neck feel worse, I know I'm being childish and its only the 1st day and I need to persevere and not stress that ill be taking the maximum painkillers every day. What I really want to do is have a massive foot stomping tantrum.

This is my one thing to do before I collapse back in bed. We've sent the Covid tests back and should hear within a couple of days. Fingers crossed.
That video of Elton John is hysterical but also quite sad. I agree the man is a narcissist but he's written some great music and he's also contributed huge amounts to charity as well as raising enormous sums for AIDs charities. I have a bit of a soft spot for him.
My favourite story about 'I'm Still Standing' is when it was in the charts much the same time that he married Renee Blauel. He received a telegram from gay friends which said 'You might still be standing but we're all on the floor'
It is sad to see him now. Much the same as Paul McCartney. I wish they'd realise how awful they look and retire from performing.
I'm not up to clicking 'like/ha ha/love' etc on posts, hard enough to keep up to date reading. Can you all just imagine I've liked your posts? Because I do.
