Interesting. I've never heard the cat and small animal rumours. However when a domestic violence form is filled out by the police there are questions on there that relate to harming animals, treating them badly torturing etc. They are used as practice. It's a significant sign in young children for future violence... murderers tend to have a history of animal cruelty.

I don’t know if @Hoohumm said it too, but I voiced the idea a couple of threads back or in the Royal Family tread or both. I think the time is right to give women the same rights in that regard. I think they should have taken the step when they secured her place in the line of succession. It’s long overdue really. And till then the Windsor debacle should be processed and be done with. Apart from my feminist standpoint in that case, I will say I would also be extremely schadenfroh to see all the Cambridge children styled as Duke and Duchess in their own rights. I can only imagine the drama going down with Charlotte holding a Dukedom and Doriana only being a Lady (if even).

With William and Charles making plans for the modernisation of the monarchy, one way they could do it is to get rid of all titles, which in turn would make the Sussex title meaningless.

The dukes and earls etc are a throwback to the aristocracy that no longer really exists. Wales and Scotland don't really want the titles related to them used again and with the family being streamlined there's less need for multiple titles. Prince and Princess should suffice.

This is the type of forward thinking they need to consider perhaps.
