Hannah Witton #2

At least both Hannah and Leena are actual wicked fans, so many random content creator/ influencers were gifted tickets which always seems unfair to me but that’s the way of the world these days in entertainment…
I can imagine it to be quite common if you are an influential person of some sorts, to just write the responsible people and ask "Can I maybe get a ticket for the XY premiere." They might as well had played it cooler imo, but that way, the content wouldn't have been as rElAtAbLe?

She talks a lot about career transition and behind the scenes of content creation, but does anybody actually cares about this... like who thinks "I really want to watch a video on how a stranger switched career from content creation to slightly different content creation"

I haven't watched it yet but from pretty much full-time content creation which kind of made her stand out from the others in both subject and in work ethic to scraping the bottom of the barrel trying supermarket ham sandwiches and begging for Wicked tickets on Instagram and otherwise doing as little as possible? Oh, the downfall in the last couple of years.

I was just thinking this. Even when she’s not making a video specifically about it, she often mentions her career transition and things associated with it and I’m just not bothered? It’s like she doesn’t have the confidence to say this is what I’m doing now, I’ll just get on with it. I’m happy to watch random content about someone’s life or interests, I’m less happy to hear all about their career issues as it then becomes less escapist for me.

I watched her latest video in which she had been given a Gregg's package. Was anyone else annoyed that she didn't even bother giving stuff away or putting it jn thr freezer and clearly just threw lots of it away? Companies giving these infleucners things (especially food when so many people are now having so much difficulty affording it)drives me insane

unfortunately this happens a lot with ‘gifted free’ things. as I get older, I’m realising more and more how fake and unrealistic, influencers lives are.

In her latest video, I feel like she’s brainstorming out loud about her career and next steps, and that’s just really boring to listen to. It’s like being in my own head (even down to the accent), and isn’t what I watch YouTube for. I’ve stopped the video 14 minutes in, because it’s actually stressful.

It’s also difficult when she mentions not having got pregnant yet so many times. I know it’s a big deal when you’re living it, and I know that secondary infertility can be hard to go through, but as someone who will likely never be able to get pregnant, it’s hard hearing that all the time. It’s probably down to me to just stop watching, but I feel like we’re thin on the ground in terms of YouTube women in their 30s who aren’t either raising a family or talking about trying for one.

Completely agree, as someone who is child free by choice, I’m not particularly interested in that topic as a focus. I don’t mind it randomly coming up or it being a secondary thought but I don’t choose to watch those particular videos from any content creator. But as I said, thats just a personal interest, understand that for a lot of women in their 30s+ their main interest is most likely raising their children and trying to find some common ground.

I can’t remember what her past volgnukah videos were like but apart from the chicken soup one I don’t know why I keep watching.
Her videos just seem too long these days and I guess I’m not interested. Bottom of the barrel was that vinted video a few weeks back where 25 minutes was her just looking at vinted listings, had to skip forward after 10 minutes to the clothes try on because she had nothing interesting to say

I’m fairly new to her channel and found her through Leena Norms so not overly sure what her general content is. I watch a lot of book content so always happy when she focuses on that but I understand she is more of a general lifestyle blogger?

>Complaining that she’s not pregnant with her second child
>Complaining that having a child “ruined” her career even though she quit her more successful channel/content
>Content about “productivity” and how busy she is - even though she makes one video a week and employs two people
>Content about her awful style that even a “stylist” can’t seem to sort out
>Eating/cooking the most bland beige food available
Have I missed anything?

Kinda Hannah related but not really - is there a thread here for her sister-in-law Bethan Leadley ?
Popped up on my Instagram and she looks so different!

Anyone watched her latest video? She is doing videos every other week for the foreseeable (January at least?) while starting IVF. She said she would document this behind a pay wall on patreon and openly said she hoped this would offset the YouTube income. A day later she announces on Instagram over 100 people joined her patreon...

Always very brave of YouTubers with more income than the average pleb to announce that they’re worried about their income because of their own decision to cut back on what they make.

I’m very surprised she’s monetising her IVF! I mean I’m not but I am!

I always hate this, anyone who cut back on work hours would take a pay cut (and usually ina. Job much less well paid for more work as well) . Infleuncers moaning like this drives me mad tbh. I'm not subscribed to her anymore but this would have made me unsubscribe
