I just don’t know how or why they would want to bring a second child into their lives when they aren’t even content with the life they have with one child.Another baby will make everything infinitely worse. I think she’s severely underestimating how big the jump from one child to two is, particularly in a small flat, with a checked-out spouse and no access to maternity leave.
Her income has declined significantly, so the pressure will be on Dan to be the sole financial provider. And I very much doubt she’ll be interested in dropping childcare to stay at home full time with two small kids - she likes her daytime cinema trips, restaurant lunches, massages and tennis lessons too much!
I chuckle at how at odds it all is with her feminist facade.
