I miss the shopping/afternoon tea vlogs , the hotel ones are ok, the food ones..meh! Like you all say, these new ones are making her money so why would she stop. I don't watch her as much anymore.
I would watch more if she stuck to shopping and afternoon tea with the occasional hotel vlog. I see I'm not missing much.

I'm in a bad mood generally today, but although I do quite enjoy her hotel videos generally (even if I wish she'd make more use of the amazing spas at these places; such a waste!), her endless proclamations of "GAW-JUSS" are driving me bonkers.

Find her vlogs amazing they make me want to go to London again ASAP. She's also very funny and very honest which is great she just does not seem fake at all. I liked her talking about the Harrods Advent calendar to basically saying maybe you shouldn't have bought this even though she's getting some pretty nice expensive products. Side note that for 250 Harrods you can't get it right she had duplicates for two doors. She's right tourism London should be paying her or sponsoring some of her content however I do worry about that if they might push her to change too much.

Chloe makes me think of the sort of bags us high school gals in the US lusted after in the early 2000s... that was so the vibe. They look so trashy. For £2000 too - that is insane!
Interesting, you should say that @elliebee27, the Paddington bag first came out in 2005. I got into discussion with the sales assistant in Selfridges ... it's hilarious because if I hadn't contributed to this thread I wouldn't have given those bags a second glance but because of this discussion/Hannah I did stop. Of course the Sales Assistants were champing at the bit to flog me one so I checked the price etc and I got a full history of the bag. At the moment this bag is highly sought after and Selfridges only have these display bags and there's a waiting list for them which beggars belief. In a few months we will see Zara producing designer dupes for uder GBP 50.

Sorry I didn't mean this to turn into a discussion about handbags.

She absolutely should be disqualified from scoring if she receives preferential treatment. The upgrade she got at the Connaught was mindblowing, and all the gifts at the Ritz ... unless you're a Sheikh from a high-status family paying full price for the premium suites, you wouldn't receive all those extras as a 'normal' client. I have very rarely received upgrades at hotels - memorably two because I travelled towards the end of Covid - I was given a Penthouse suite at a hotel in Dusseldorf and a very good deal at the Adlon Kempinski by the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin (which was a memorable experience for which I will be forever grateful) and Durrant's a 4-Star hotel off Marylebone High Street - because I've been a regular visitor over the years.

Personally, I preferred Hannah's walks around London - shopping, stopping for coffees etc at various cafes. It was more real. The hotels and restaurants are fine occasionally, but it is becoming boring.

Well spotted @Sabbie I think she was using her own name!

Loved the Gilbert Scott architecture but was surprised that the rooms weren't better maintained. Some of the common areas were beautiful, such as staircases, Gothic Revival features & etc.
Yeh I think a hotel a week is way too much, they're all so samey and it seems like she's becoming more and more nitpicky and petty with things as time goes on. I was shocked by the damage in the room and that tiny portion of pasta though!

Thumbnail: HOTELS ARE NOT CLEAN!
Title: The 5 Star Hotel with BLACK MOULD! I was not happy...
Final round-up in video: "Definitely recommend this hotel, 100%"

Also, not rating it as she wasn't sure between 5 and 7, and asking viewers (almost none of whom will have stayed there) to rate it in the comments?!

Have to hand it to her. She knows what shes doing

Its obvious to us but I dont think most who watch YouTube actually understand it, or care

I understand why she goes to these chain stores, but why doesn't she try out the independent places and give honest reviews?

Her constant thing of "am I pronouncing that right" is really grating on me atm.
Just watching the latest one and she mentions having bad asthma, I assume that's why she got her covid jab quickly, nothing to do with a heart condition and weight like was being debated earlier.
I just wish she'd give more specific information, I'm never going to go to any of these places so it's not like I want them for recommendations, but it'd just make them more interesting. It'd be okay if she only did these a occasionally, but so often it just makes them so samey (describing food, the spa features) the spa in this one looks amazing, that snow room!

I find it hard to believe that these ‘influencers’ can earn so much for content that is often so vacuous. Even those who start off with good intentions seem to be corrupted by the money or their perceived fame. People that I once liked eventually change. Gary Eats, for example, now uses clickbait titles with a stupid selfie pulling a silly faux-shocked face superimposed over some restaurant they are reviewing. Take Hannah’s review on Tuesday …

View attachment 3709840

She actually enjoyed the meal! But here she is with an intentionally ambiguous/misleading title pulling an exaggerated face like a bad actor in a hammy silent movie. Gary has started to do similar which is disappointing. I do find it quite surprising that these fundamentally very unexceptional people can make a lot of 💰 from this content, in an economy where it can be challenging to make ends meet. Poncing around buying ugly handbags for £thousands. It’s a strange world indeed. Forgive the rant folks, had a trying day yesterday.
The new handbag was on FULL display at the end of this boring lunch vid. And it was even more hideous than I expected 😬 It kind of doesn't suit her. But each to their own (as she herself says over and over) .
I am starting to become convinced that a lot of the female 'travel/daily vlog' type YouTubers are dolling themselves up & smiling a lot - looking all positive vibes & easy to be with ..to be aiming at desperate lonely men to give them money donations thru YouTube. Which seems to be working for a lot of them, it's like a new version of sugar daddy/sugar baby.

Just watched the vid and there’s no way in hell they didn’t know who she was. Chocolates, cakes, biscuits, champagne, cocktails, a face mask etc etc all for free? No way.

Why pronounce something correctly when people are all too happy to jump in comments to correct her?!

Why do we think Hannah has gone down this route?! Money woes and chasing them £££ or stroking an ego and loves the attention they get her?!

It just no longer seems to be about wanting to make good videos, and being creative

I think she’s trying to pass herself off as someone much higher class than she is. Desperately wants to be one of those wealthy Sloaney types with the voice, the hair band, ballet pumps, skipping around high class restaurants twittering on about how much it all costs which in itself is very low class. Same with the sister. Very affected.
I laughed out loud when she showed the kids cheese sandwich. Dry bread with a slab of supermarket cheddar in it. Forty quid for that lol.

For a normal and more balanced Ritz experience i really recommend checking out Bright Sun Films recent video on it.

Its a great channel in general for travel reviews tbh.

The few older vlogs I watched were decent. Do think she talks just to hear herself, which gets old fast. The turnoff for me is the adulation along with randoms giving her tips. Clickbait titles with the ridiculous thumbnail of her various facial expressions. Some of the things she claims happen I now doubt. Like coming across rude people at Nobu. It's just something to talk about and have people feel bad for her? How do we know she wasn't vile to those individuals first. She is disingenuous at this point. These are things I didn't see a few months ago. imo it seems that many vloggers are quite likeable in the beginning, but not for long.

Ragebait video. Making mountains over molehills about actual fresh food like @zebby mentions.
Moaned over the prices about almost everything, but at the end stated it’s all “exceptional quality”. It’s worth it though, you guyz, right? Do you think? I don’t know. Let me know in the comments. No fighting.

Had to laugh when she said you need to remortgage to shop there. First of all, it’s extremely patronizing because if you carefully shop there probably are reasonable deals, and it is South Kensington, so what would anyone expect? What she ultimately means is you poors would need to remortgage because she can afford it without giving it a second thought, or one of her beneficiaries will cover the bill in the comments.

The return to shopping did not come in strong. I am shocked she didn’t call it Whole Pay Check like it’s called in the US. Do your research, Hans. I am totally bored of her now, and can’t even be bothered to hate watch unless something juicy is discussed here. Thumbs up so I know I can buy my next designer bag.

Yeah im pretty sure no one has commented on her appearance here, other than her disproportionate head in some of her thumbnails.

I thought that video was confusing and disjointed. I don't even know what she had for dinner. Maybe because she was too busy complaining and swapping to another room.

Find it moronic to jump from luxury hotels, shopping & food to fast food crap & dodgy restaurants. She's casting a wide net to appeal to everyone, which never works. I'd imagine her views will lessen soon enough. jmho
