The childhood video was fab where she’s going round on the heelies with the silly hairstyle. It’s brilliant she’s not taking herself too seriously and has genuine video ideas that she isn’t afraid to have a go at.
I watched and mostly enjoyed it, I love their friendship but I do know what you mean, I think they were trying a bit too hard with some of the reactions (the jumper one particularly).Oh god I couldn't finish today's video with the present swaps with honorit was maybe slightly too high energy? I cant put my finger on it but think that's the first time I've turned off a grackle vid!
Her mum is a teacher too, which makes it worse as both parents are at such high risk of exposure.Yeah I noticed that from the start she was not following some of the rules. Didn't she have a BBQ in the first lockdown? It is so frustrating to me to see her disregard the rules. I saw her story of her meeting Honour this week and I was pretty annoyed about it tbh. I am only 21 and I have not been out since march 2020 other than for my doctors appointments and the occasional walk because my mum is vulnerable and if I passed it on to her she would not survive. My older sister even moved in with us because she lives alone and did not want to be isolated from us for all that time. I spent my 21st birthday in lockdown and I haven't seen my friends in months. Occasionally one of my friends with deliver me little presents to let me know she is thinking about me.
Grace has been meeting up with Honour a lot, going for unnecessary trips to the garden centre, the supermarket, and even just going on unnecessary trips away and days out in the centre of London. It is all just all unnecessary and totally tone-deaf to her subscribers and followers how have been affected by this pandemic, who are taking social distancing seriously or who have been shielding from the very start.
People who are unwilling to follow the rules are complicit in causing the numbers to increase and causing the pandemic to be prolonged. It is ridiculous that people take no responsibility for their actions.
Also does anybody know what Grace's parents do for a living? Her dad is an art teacher isn't he? What about her mum? They seem like well-educated people. It shocks me that even people who should be quite intelligent fail to understand how important following the rules are.
Agreed, some people have a metabolism that works overtime. If she wasn't tall I would be concerned but she's a beanpole. Also, I think she talks about food so much because it is content, she likes trying new things and reviewing them and her fans keep asking for more of that. I think she is trying to give what the people want. I'm allergic to nuts but I still love hearing her talking about all her bakes, for inspiration.I agree, I think there’s almost an element of jealousy and projection. This is a rave thread and Grace is wonderful.
I think Chloe is 28/29, I think Jesse is around 25/26. Grace will be 24 this yearChloe is 25 or something like that so im guessing Jesse around 23-24?
THISI love this threadIt just goes to show we’re not the ‘nasty bullies’ influencers try and paint us out to be, when the YouTuber is honest, hardworking and grateful we appreciate it!
Yeah I know with those type of religions people usually only date and make friends with people from their church which I find strange but each to their own ! I suppose people generally want to mix with people who hold the same values as them etc. But I think it opens your mind more to mix with people who have different views than your own. I think that kind of behaviour can create closed mindedness even if the person doesn't mean to be. I feel like this is why some people find grace as a bit childish maybe it's because she seems quite sheltered and maybe hasn't really mixed with people that are different to her (faith or social class etc.) I couldn't imagine her ever discriminating against people who are different but she just seems to live in her own world if you get me ? Yeah I've heard her mention that too maybe there's certain rules regarding dating with her religion ? I'm not sure but I'm curiousyeh I thought this, Grace has mentioned never having gone on a date before (nothing wrong with it ofc, each to their own, but it is pretty unusual) I imagine they met through the church?
Absolutely this! I don't watch all of her videos, because sometimes the content just isn't my cup of tea, but I still adore her and think she is the best thing to happen to YouTube in so long. She's so lovely and genuine.YES! I feel very protective of herBut I honestly can’t see how anyone would be able to criticise her. Even if her content isn’t your cup of tea, she’s not got a bad bone in her body!
Sometimes ubereats and deliveroo just don't reach your area, even if you're just in the suburbs. You get better options the closer you live to the city centre. There used to not be that many options that delivered to my home address (about 4 miles out from Manchester city centre so not rural at all), mainly just local takeaways, but its a lot better now. At my uni address, I can order from all the city centre restaurants so I have to restrain myselfHer mum annoyed me a little bit at the beginning of tonight’s vlog, complaining.
I really enjoyed the rest of the vlog though, a great idea for one. Surprised they don’t have deliveroo or Uber, are they really rural?
ETA:I wasn’t sure if later she meant they did have it or it just came in those bags.
