I stopped watching the ones Honour is in tbh because I do get a weird vibe when they're together sometimes like Grace is desperate to impress the popular girl or something. She seems more natural when she's just by herself.

I am curious about the Halloween incident though because I'm pretty sure she mentioned that in a different video as well. I wonder if she'll ever do a storytime about it. I wouldn't mind more chatty/relaxed videos from her.
I’m also really curious about the Halloween incident. Her family don’t seem the type to encourage Halloween generally though so I wonder if it’s just something minor like someone jumping out in fun and scaring her combined with that which wouldn’t really warrant a story time.

I didn’t know her dad is a head teacher and her mum is the textiles teacher. I thought her dad was an art teacher😂

I think s
Grace gives me ED vibes, she massively overcompensates / exaggerates re' the food she eats, and she has a few odd habits e.g.
she will go on big trips and buy loads of food and then only eat small bites (e.g. brighton ice cream, donuts and cookies in London etc., making a big deal of going to maccies and then just getting a healthy chicken wrap - who does that ),
she cooks and bakes loads and loads for her family - even stuff she can't eat or doesn't like (ref the christmas pudding that took ages .... like she would make massive cakes with dairy when she was dairy intolerant) and then she is quite obsessive about getting feedback on the food - a lot of ED people do this as it enables them to be 'close to food' without having to eat
pre getting really big on youtube she made a lot of what i eat in a week videos where the food would 90% of the time be out of camera shot - these videos always had loads of comments from people recovering from EDs
the whole Dairy intolerence going away and her saying she will explain it and then never getting around to doing so (even though she gets a lot of comments about it ) seems off too
I disagree with literally all of this, but did want to specifically pick up on the thing about getting feedback. I'm from a family who love food (as the Booths seem to as well). We love trying new things, and cooking and eating together, but the downside is also that it feels like quite a lot of pressure sometimes when you're cooking for folk because there's truly nothing worse than being the person who makes a shit meal for people for whom that meal is like the focal point of the day. She wants them to enjoy the meal, she wants feedback on what to do differently next time if they don't. Grace is also the youngest of three siblings, and she really looks up to and adores Chloe and Jesse but also seems to really crave their approval a lot of the time. She has also talked about suffering from different kinds of anxiety (she doesn't really label it as anxiety but that's what she's describing). All of this combined is far more of what contributes to the feedback thing in my mind.

I wonder if Grace will be allowed to vlog little bits of Chloe’s wedding? Since Chloe prefers to not be on camera and wants to keep her life private (I understand completely) but I’m still a bit nosy.
If Grackle vlogs bits of her sister’s wedding it will mean she’s turned to the dark side and there’s no hope of getting back. I would hope she still has the sense to know what’s vlog-worthy and what is a private family event that should not be shared with the world.

LOVE grackle, been watching her for about a year now. Such a nice family and she is so excited to receive things - it’s nice that she’s not turned into an ad channel and I hope it stays that way as it’s hard to find channels where 90% of the videos aren’t ad influenced.

One thing I do like, is how her and the family don’t push their views on people with the church etc!

She is so refreshing to watch, you can tell how much she loves making videos, she is completely genuine on camera. Her family are hilarious, I love the relationship she has with her dad, they really crack me up. I can’t stop watching her videos and honestly couldn’t say a bad word about her!

I’m surprised at Grace’s new hair! I love it, I think it looks elegant. I knew she’d pull it off.
I wasn’t expecting for her to get it done especially before her sisters wedding.

Am I the only one who found the latest vlog a bit... sad? A girl in her twenties getting so worked up and excited about ordering in a mediocre takeaway with her parents?

I understand that everyone's lives have been put on hold for a while. But Grace's immaturity is starting to bug me. Doesn't she want to be hanging out with people her own age, creating a life independently from her family? Pursuing ideas and projects and relationships that don't have anything to do with her parents? Also, whether or not you disagree with her going to the shops so much (I personally think it's unnecessary), her vlogs recently have been food, family, food, family. I'm getting a bit bored of the themes here, and I worry for Grace's growth as a person and independence.
I used to really like her....but I didn't realise how old she actually is. In an odd way, she seems really coddled and naive (not spoiled) and not fully independent. I have not been a fan of her behaviour during covid. To put it bluntly, I feel like she needs to start growing the fuck up.

Just wanted to say that if her fiancé lives (/lived) alone he could have formed a support bubble with the booths which would have meant he and Chloe could have had a normal relationship this whole time. So doesn’t necessarily mean they broke any rules when they got engaged.
Chloe has moved out. Grace did a live last week and confirmed it plus mentioned it in a video. I’ll see if I can find it. I think grace has also moved into chole’s old room. So there are rule being broken.

Anybody else noticed during the past two breakfast instagram lives (both lasting about 30 minutes) has seen Grace make toast and hot water during the first 10 minutes (and saying 'she loves the process' ....etc. ) and the next 20 steadfastly fixated on not eating the toast she has prepared... even though a raft of comments on the live ask her to just eat the toast ....she comes out with a raft of excuses including noise / politeness etc. ... who leaves hot fresh toast uneaten??!?! utterly bizzare

Hesitant to gossip too much about Grace’s family and friends but from what I can gather, Grace’s friend that got married recently is the sister of Chloe’s fiance and they’re the family that are very close to the Booths via the church. I think Chloe’s fiance is younger than her too, not that that really matters, but it’s interesting that he’s from that family/church and not, say, someone she met at university or work. It’s clear that the church is very central to their lives.

I do wonder how things will turn out for Grace. I’m pretty sure there is a member of that family that is around her age too...

I love Grace because she looks like she lives such a fulfilling life and I hope she never feels like there’s something missing because she’s not in a relationship. I really hope she gets to travel and explore what’s out there beyond her community

Yeah I wasn't too keen on it either, I dont think it helps that her mum isn't on camera which I totally respect is her choice & it's great Grace doesn't force her to be in the videos but sometimes it makes the dynamic off. I thought the same when she did the cheap & expensive Xmas dinners & her dad wasn't home so it was just Grace then her mum & Chloe who were both off camera. I guess its not ideal for her to spread her wings just now because we are all trapped at home & she only has her mum & dad for company. I'm not too sure what else she can film at the moment to be honest? Maybe some "bake with me" videos?

Oh god I couldn't finish today's video with the present swaps with honor 😕 it was maybe slightly too high energy? I cant put my finger on it but think that's the first time I've turned off a grackle vid!
Oh dear. I agree. Managed about 5 minutes but the over the top reactions were cringe. It all seemed a bit too self congratulatory and cliquey.

I think though, and this is just speculation, if he is in the Church she is in, I doubt he would be liviing alone as usually people like that go from family to married. ObvI am not sure, but this is my perception

The issue is that Jesse also appeared in video at a time when he’d have had to be a bubble with the Booths, as well as their niece(?) and Grace seems to have been seeing Honor regularly the whole time. All the separate videos and stories Grace shows (with the exception of the v recent Honor one) make it look like they’re respecting the rules but when you look at them together they’re clearly not. The same if Chloe has moved out, she’d be their one bubble but could only have them or her fiancé not both.

I also totally agree with this, which makes it less likely it’s an allowed bubble.

Grace, the only person on YouTube to make eating and Starbucks challenges enjoyable so thank you to her!
I love how excited she was to melt candles all day and then take them into her community for other people to join in and guess what the scent was, never seen that done on YouTube it was different and good 🙂

I think the pressure to create content is a lot and that's why she keeps going out?
Yes I imagine this is a big reason behind it! I don't think she realises most of her subscribers would be happy enough just to watch her make something as simple as a victoria sponge and have a chat with Banksy and her dad.

Two things I’ve been pondering based on the recent comments.
1- Since Grace and Honor have been friends are a long time. I wonder if they’ve changed a lot over the years and how has that effected their friendship? Because to me they same like complete opposites, other than them both being religious what else to they have in common (i.e. values beyond church and any other interests). Could it be that Grace acts different so that her friendship with Honor doesn’t drift apart or am I jumping to conclusions. I don’t mean to be rude or intrusive but I’m just curious.
2- I wonder what about Jesses girlfriend? Is she religious too.
What would the Booth parents think if Jesse or Grace was hypothetically to be with someone who is of a different belief or non believer? Again I don’t want to be instrusive or rude but again I’m curious.

I must admit the picnic in the park with her friend was the moment I thought wow

couldn’t agree more she is totally selfish in her behaviour
yeah exactly, I have unsubscribed and don't think I will be watching her videos again, she doesn't deserve my views. I don't care if some people "have done worse" the point is she has broken the rules which most of us are following. I also think the fact that on Instagram she has only really shown rule breaking in stories rather than actual posts implies she knows it is wrong
