We all have different life experiences, Grace probably had a very different lifestyle in her late teens doing modelling to any of her friends. There are too many age related stereotypes and expectations in today’s society.
I also don’t think there is anything wrong with not having a boyfriend at 23.
Boys are not the be all and end all, Grace seems very happy herself and that is what is important.
Life for everybody can change so fast, I had my son at 25 but by 29 I was a single parent due to dv. Going through that experience made me massively grow up! I’d of quite happily of gone back to being 23 and living at home with my parents.
I do think if you put your life out there on social media/YouTube people are going to ask questions.

Really? I think it's great she's not hiding it for those who do suffer with acne. We need to normalise seeing it, as people often feel ashamed of it and like they have to cover it up.
I agree with you, @lilamay. I admire Grace for not hiding her acne and it absolutely should be normalised and she should not feel ashamed because of it. At the end of the day, @melikey , her content is what matters here, and the acne is easy to dismiss and remain unnoticeable if you learn not to see it as a negative.

Tbf I don’t think anyone on here has ever judged her relationship status negatively or used it as a measure of her maturity.

I, personally, think she is mature in terms of her independence and responsibilities, she just has a bit of a child-like disposition, and that’s fine! If anything, that’s probably what endears a lot of people to her. She’s true to herself and that’s all you can wish of someone really.

I’m more bothered by her multiple unnecessary trips to different supermarkets. I hope she’s reined that in a bit now

I really like grace. But i do think she had got 'faker' as time has gone on. I hope she doesnt lose herself like other instagram people. She is lucky she has such a nice family.
Also that vid with honour was cringe. Why does grace feel she has to act different ?! It makes me think what is really her. She is deffo more aware than what she makes people think she is on YT.

Or, you know, you people just don't understand her recording / editing / release schedule and keep assuming she's doing stuff in lockdown when in reality she's doing it before lockdown.
Limit trips to the shops has been the advice since day 1- she's not been stacking these videos up since last February. Yes, there was more freedom late last year, but we still weren't supposed to be going about willy nilly. Just because something's not The Law doesn't make it ok.

really winds me up when influencers don’t think the rules apply to them . As if they live by their own rules.

Balkanbae this is the rules lifted from the UK government site

Meeting other people
It is against the law to meet socially with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble. You cannot leave home for recreational or leisure purposes (such as for a picnic or a social meeting).
I think she needs to read up on the rules. Previously you could meet one person outside who wasn’t in your bubble but that is now not allowed. I don’t blame people for getting it wrong when it changes week to week but the ones who are going on holiday and posting on Instagram need a slap.

If her DM’s were open I’d send a message to advise her to be careful etc. The Chloe situation is dubious too, she is at their home but has moved out so coming round which is against the rules.

I watched her live and it sounds like Chloe was set to get married recently but lockdown has meant no weddings are allowed so it’s been postponed. So she probably wouldn’t have cared about limited numbers.

Also, my goodness Grace is a chatterbox in that live hahaha I was out of breath just listening to her! I love that she’s so open about never having a boyfriend, it’s refreshing and no doubt will relieve some of her younger viewers from the pressures of a relationship obsessed world

She's used to industrial kitchens and big machines. There's a big difference between commercial and domestic baking.

Her oven at home is terrible. And she's previously said that whenever she bakes she gets people complaining about what she's doing, so she doesn't bother any more.

Are you really getting defensive on a gossip forum? Leave if you can’t handle other people’s opinions jeez

I love Grace I just caught up on some of her recent videos and the one she uploaded on the 9th on Extra Grack she was talking about that Take That song giving her "a bit PTSD" Or something and I remember in a video a few months ago she said something similar (pretty sure it was something about a cake going wrong) and PTSD and I remember being a bit upset by it because I have PTSD myself because of abuse when I was a child and been struggling more in lockdown so maybe I'm just being super sensitive but I feel like it's kinda like when people say "oh I really love cleaning its like I have OCD". I don't know if I'm maybe being too sensitive about it x
I think , maybe just my heightened social media usage in lockdown, but it seems people are using very serious mental health terms for everything on social media now? sorry how can a song (unless it was played when you were in a hugely traumatic experience) give you PTSD?! I really find this insulting, especially as so many infleucners seem to be citing MH issues as an excuse to break rules
ETA I hope you are better now, sorry for what you went through and I am angry on your behalf for the fact that people are making what you went through less important ❤ ❤ ❤

Honor, is that you? 😂

Yeah, ok fair if commercial baking is different. My opinion is that with a degree in the subject she'd be producing stuff of higher quality, however it doesn't impact my life so I'm not too bothered. Just musing.

I went to watch the present swap video this morning and turned it off after about 3 minutes. The screeching and over reactions are way too much now. I feel like lately she's putting on a show for the camera and it comes off really insincere and disingenuous. Her reactions to things are outrageous and unrealistic it's really irritating.

Oh god I couldn't finish today's video with the present swaps with honor 😕 it was maybe slightly too high energy? I cant put my finger on it but think that's the first time I've turned off a grackle vid!

Off topic:
What do people think of Grace being a bit immature for her age?
I think she seems like a sweet person and I enjoy the down to earth vibe she has in her videos.
Sometimes I can't believe she's 23 years old. I forgot that she’s in her 20s when I feel like she is much younger.
I wonder if being thrust when she was a teenager into the fashion world, which has a lot of seediness floating around it, made her regress into a child somehow? I will say that I’m glad that she’s out of that environment and doing what she loves but I wonder what she would have been like if she stayed. Modeling looks glamorous but in reality it’s mentally and emotionally draining. Not an enviable job.

Going back to Grace's eating and whether she might have an ED--

I appreciate that her family are slim and that she is tall, and so there may be a genetic component to her small size. However, there's a difference between being slim, like her sister, and underweight. Grace is straight up underweight (I'd estimate BMI 16). She's not a teenager, she's in her twenties. She's clearly fixated on food, and often cooks / bakes things that she cannot eat (as has been pointed out by others in this thread). To me, this points to an ED. Not all EDs are straightforward calorie-counting or purging behaviour. They can be nebulous and nuanced, with strange rules that most people would never pick up on. I speak as someone recovering from an ED, by the way-- a lot of Grace's viewers are. There's something to be said about that, I think...

What do you think?
As someone who has thankfully never had an ED, I can wholeheartedly say that I don't think we have anything to worry about regarding Grace's eating. I think people with and without EDs can have similar eating habits and it be healthy for one person and unhealthy for the person with the ED. I know plenty of people who eat like her and don't have an ED. She eats the same portions as her family and is pretty active so probably just has an incredibly fast metabolism. Regarding her making foods that she can't eat, this is so common and by no means an indicator of her having an ED. She's been passionate about baking since before her dairy intolerance worsened so she's obviously going to make things for her dairy-consuming family using the original recipes. The same with her baking degree, she wouldn't have had the choice to just not partake in bakes that contain dairy. I know of vegans who will cook non-vegan dishes for their families because they're accommodating, not because they have an ED and are fixated on food. By your logic, all bakers and chefs and caterers etc have EDs for them to be fixated on food and constantly making things that they're not going to eat. I think that when you have an unhealthy relationship with food, it might be easier for you to assume that people can't possibly have these eating habits and be healthy but I can assure you, we do exist!!

Long time lurker here and I’ve been watching Grace since she started her YouTube channel. Her parents and her I believe are quite religious and coming from a religious background myself, swearing isn’t really in our vocabulary! Although we can “slip up from time to time” 😂
😂😂 yeah I couldn't imagine any of them swearing. I've heard Grace in the past say "flip" & I wondered if those flips ever turned into the odd fuck. Even her Dad who seems most laid back in that way i can't imagine saying "shit" if his tea is too hot. its so funny to me cause I'm from such a sweary background (scottish!) I cant believe Grace's gut instinct wouldn't be to scream "fucks sake" when she dropped whatever it was all over her mum's hob 🙈😂 isn't it funny how different we all are! 😊

I hope she doesn't turn into another Taz. I think it's just not really being able to go anywhere and being at home, plus the added pressure of keeping up with producing content now that she's gotten much bigger It seemed like when Jesse lived with them he would often be the one to tell her to chill, now that he's not there (and now Chloe has moved out as well) she's more full on. I would have loved to see her get to do more things on her own and go places and break out of her little bubble a bit, now it isn't possible 😭

This is so disappointing, i thought she was one of the very few influencers following rules
I love Grackle but she’s not been following the rules from the very start, and I don’t think her family have either. She’s just doing it more obviously now.
