I've watched a few returns pallet videos recently, Grace really did get a dud. A family channel recently did one and they got 15 or more mini fridges, broken ornaments, broken toys. Then I've seen a smaller youtuber buy 2 at over 1k and she got Dyson hair products, shark vacuums, smeg toasters, nespresso machines etc.
It really is pot luck.

My theory is Grace saw the photo and kept bidding because she doesn't like 'losing' and therefore paid over the odds. She will make her money back on the video and because it was shown as a purchase for work, she will claim her tax back on it.

Honestly I wouldn't trust most channels who do them, I have seen various of these pallet type things and influencers all seem to get amazing stuff while " normal" people just get crap

It’s just more proof they don’t take stuff seriously.

That said, I don’t really get the point of her isolating within her house anyway. The ship has almost certainly sailed because she was presumably around them before she knew but while she was still infectious.

I dont really get it either because presumably they are using the same bathroom, they are touching the plates she has touched etc

I've always wondered this myself, especially since elzani made a video eating like Grace, and Grace has never mentioned it.

A dietician in the US reviewed her what I est in a day too. A lot of the comments on that say she has a dairy allergy which I think is why a lot of people thought she did, and that she’d said it (though I only recall her saying intolerant). I don’t think I ever saw her acknowledge the video, though I suppose it was probably unwanted input for her!

hopefully as she is partly vaccinated she won't be too ill although I wonderwhy she was tested, she must have had symptoms to do so?

She took the photo saying she had covid laying in bed with a birthday hat on too so doubt she’s got no symptoms

Why was Grace not wearing a mask on the train or the whole of the Durham trip yet when back home, she wore one in the shopping centre and shops etc? I know we’re allegedly “free” to choose not to (protect others and ourselves) but it doesn’t make sense why she would not bother on a trip but does at home?

I dont think she is harsh, just honest. I have lovely parents but they wouldnt just praise me for doing something. They are bery supportive but if I ask them their opinion they will be honest.

yeah I agree, I think she just comes across as "negative" as she isn't as enthusiastic etc as the dad, who has more of a personality like grace

She was in high-end fashion modelling. She modelled for brands like Burberry and was labelled as "one to watch" - she may well have ended up making a lot of money.

When I first started watching and she said she had done some modelling I had no idea that in a short space of time she had been really successful. It must take courage to give up a career to go back to education and start over

I saw her on TikTok yesterday and then ended up watching a couple of her YouTube videos - I remember in the past she was dairy free - apologies if that's already been covered but is that no longer the case? Guessing so as she was taste testing a load of chocolate stuff lol

She's no longer dairy free. She did a video about it. She was dairy free for a few years after taking antibiotics (I think?) seemed to play havoc with her digestion. She introduced it back slowly and now seems to be eating dairy again.

No, that was her brother in law's little brother or something, he was way too young to be with Grace.

idk why everyone's so surprised! i'm not sure if it's the other thread or not but everyone seemed to know she was dating someone and i've felt like an engagement was coming soon for a while. i don't think there's anything wrong with getting engaged and married quickly. i know many, many people who have done the same thing because of culture and i would say 90% are thriving.

Sadly I think this is what she’ll do, she’s expressed no interest in using her degree at all, which is a huge shame because i remember her winning awards and being interested in product development. now she never even bakes anything skilful for fun. Now she has this boyfriend and things must be serious since she’s abroad with him (that is serious for Christians. And it looks like she’s at his relatives house), she’s most likely just going to go down the tradwife route and remain incredibly sheltered. I know that is a normal trajectory for women from Grace’s church but it’s even worse for her imo. Her sister got married relatively young, but she’s a teacher so is living in the real world and interacting with people daily. Grace doesn’t even have any interaction with anyone outside of her little bubble. I really wish she’d get a job or even start a little business. Honestly it would be more interesting to follow than the copious haul and food trying videos.

She has said before she wants a big house with like 7 kids so yeah..I can definitely see her becoming a housewife.

She used to be a lot more creative, now she mainly tests products and idk, she's become like any other generic influencer? I agree she's in a bubble though, it's become more and more obvious now that she's out of uni. I've said for a while that I'd love to see her own her own business but tbh now I'm not sure she has the will for it. I think a lot of big Grackle fans are losing interest with the same types of videos, that's probably why this thread is turning the other way.

I went to a Jewish school where the majority of us students were secular but we were given an orthodox Jewish education. I think condoms are a definite ‘no’ as they ‘destroy the sperm’ but other forms of contraception like the pill and IUD are allowed. Something to do with women not being obligated to procreate but men are. Idk if it’s any similar in Christianity

I'm Catholicism, no form of contraception is OK as Catholics believe that life starts at conception, ie as soon as the sperm enters the ovum. The most acceptable form of preventing pregnancy is the rhythm method. In Catholicism sex is not done for fun, it is purely for procreation, they were instructed to 'go forth and multiply'. I'm sure that for all Christians it is the same but I had a Catholic education so that's the denomination I'm certain about.

Obviously though, Christians are no longer having 14 children like my great grandparents generation did so they are using contraception nowadays, as Grace's family must be doing, there's only 3 Booth children, after all

As far as I am aware birth control of any kind is not strixtly allowed in Christianity (obviously nowadays things are changing and we were taught about condoms and birth control at school but still technically it is all frowned upon)

In my Catholic education in the 90s, we were told that the rhythm method was the only acceptable method. Obviously, we weren't told what the rhythm method was, only that the pope approved of it
