Oh absolutely. Life's hard enough with a small baby as it is let alone going through a near death experience... Seems a bit too soon to be going home imo but then idk where one would go instead?

Covid is known to impact your energy levels long term too. She’s screwed dealing with that and a baby. I bet they’ve split up by Christmas.
Watch her recording of when she was live the other day, she literally says that the consultants told her she could go home ages ago. I understand she wants to be cautious though.

There’s a difference in being medically fit for discharge (as in, you don’t need hospital care or medical treatment in hospital) and being safe to go home from a rehab point of view.
The rehab centre need to be satisfied she can stand/walk/wash etc safely and independently.
It’s common for medically fit to precede safe to go home in patients stepped down from long ITU stays.

I don't believe that her consultant said that, they don't just keep people in hospital/rehab that don't need it. There are not enough beds and it puts strain on staffing. She only just took her first unaided step, that's why she hasn't gone home.
I'm honestly shocked she's already going home, but it makes sense as she is able to walk and stand by herself they'll need the bed for someone else. But I suspect Grace has months of physio and treatment ahead of her.
It's going to be really difficult for Lee and herself, hopefully they are able to receive a lot of support from family. I think Grace is in for a shock as she's about to discover she isn't actually superwoman.

I mean, she’s tried...except keeps tagging NHS Million which is a grass roots campaign, rather than the actual NHS England social accounts.
And on Instagram, both the hospital and NHS England have storied about her discharge which she’s reposted but not added any thanks.

She doesn’t look like she’s lost any weight but she does look really poorly. Hopefully after a couple of treats like the Chinese she works on her recovery properly
I really hope she takes this as an opportunity to live a healthier lifestyle. It’s understandable that she’ll want treats but I hope she doesn’t pile on the pounds especially because she’ll be having limited exercise.
