I’ll start off by saying, i’m glad her son has a mother who pulled through the horribleness of Covid. No baby deserves to lose a mother young and no mother deserves to have lost the precious first few months with her son.

Secondly- if ‘me being me’ helped her pull through then her being her and her VERY unhealthy lifestyle and probably not following covid rules led her to being in that position in the first place so well done grace, not only were you a strain on the NHS for 3 months and possibly longer with all the therapy she she will , you don’t even thank the staff for helping you get through it all

Nice to see being near death has not humbled her one bit and probably made her even more arrogant

Wow. What a duck you to all the 100’s of people that kept her and her child alive for the last for the three months.
I’ve spent the last year working in the ICUs and HDUs of my hospital. It has been rough. Not least because of the size of many of our patients. A nurse commented in the staff room the other day about how much they’re looking forward to not having to care for so many fatties going forward. It’s exhausting and everything is harder. I know that my joints have all taken a hit this year from the turning and personal care.
Somebody here mentioned the turn teams that went around and proned patients. More often than not they were made up of volunteers from other departments whose services had been reduced. One day it was literally all dentists and eye doctors!
Also, think about all the people who have died in the last year that helped to teach the medical staff the best treatment pathways to follow. Just so that she could pull through and thank herself.

Wow, this tweet really feels like she’s almost viewing the doctors & nurses who cared for her as the enemy?

There’s a real “I showed you” energy to this. My god woman, acknowledge that they are the people who kept you alive! They’re also the people who delivered your son safely!

I think she may well be even more insufferable now. I knew Grace was an arrogant and self-focused person, but I’m seriously shocked by her attitude. There is nothing inspirational about this. She’s not displaying gratitude for anyone except herself.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I feel like Grace has always had a kind of resentment towards medical staff and hospitals. I feel like she touched on it briefly before and mentioned how black people are treated worse than white people in terms of healthcare etc? I recall people mentioning that it seems like she should go to therapy to deal with it.
Not thanking the NHS once is very bizarre.

She’s been having regular visitors, I’m sure one of them was allowed in every day and i think grace’s family have rallied around lee from what I’ve seen online

No visitors are not allowed in ICU under any circumstances. I work in ICU.

I’m so delighted and relieved Grace woke up and worried every single day about her. It’s wonderful and brilliant that she survived. What a fantastic service the NHS is.
I just think the ‘because I’m me’ is a kick in the face for anyone who didn’t and anyone who lost loved ones.

If missing the first two months of your babies life and staring death in the face and coming out the other side doesn’t teach you humility, you’ll never change.

I bet when the year is out she’ll have an bbc iPlayer special on her recovery and more coverage and free stuff then ever. If after 3 months in a coma your first instinct isn’t to thank those who saved your life, it’s shameful,.

Looool. I just realised who she reminds me of with the "because I'm me" I survived comment. TRUMP. Remember when thousands of people in the USA were dying daily from Covid, then he got the virus and recovered and boasted about how he's "never felt better." She is just like that bleeping idiot.

We've no visitors in my hospital at all. Let alone ICU. I'm in Ireland though. Lucky I'm in the labs and not on the wards. Any of ye on wards are legends and a half

duck people like Grace. One of our top cardio surgeons told me a story once, he saved a 21 year olds life and when he told the family they cried and thanked God and didnt thank him or his reg or anyone on the team Ugh stuff like this drives me mad and Grace takes it to another level.

yep she was very dismissive of them throughout her whole pregnancy, she thought she could manifest away her issues they warned her about

She may feel like the staff weren't on her side because of letting the family know there was a 5% chance but in reality they were just managing expectations. They know how this tit normally goes and they can't just say yeah no bother it'll all be swell when they know the reality of this disease and what they can do in such critical stages.

I'm pretty shocked this whole experience hasn't changed her even in the short term.

Her ego knows no bounds. Any person with an average amount of compassion would realise how offensive it is to imply other people died because they gave up. Let alone someone with media training and who's whole job is to present a nice persona (to flog tit).

This is the same person that said she manifest her pregnancy which is so insensitive to those suffering from fertility issues of loss.

She is just not a very nice person that is all
