Grace's Day in a Life:

7.30am-9am: I get up, duck about a bit, do a quick plank while looking at my phone and get dressed. I don't feel ready for the day unless I workout for 20 mins and you should feel pretty bad about yourself if you do anything less than a 2 minute plank EVERY morning. Oh did I mention I have an app for that? For some reason there's no time for breakfast. #fitnesslyf
9-9:50am: I chat to some people for a while. I'm pretty important so they make time for me like 24/7. But this is the best job they have ever had so they should be thanking me, really.
9:50-10am: I get someone to brief me on the meeting that's about to happen. Yes yes yawn yawn just remember to mention the CEO is on the call.
10-11am: I listen to everyone chat about the mundane world of fair wages and sustainable practices. I reply to a hater on twitter from my sister's account.
11-12.30am: Approved the colours of the new 100% sustainable bamboo cutlery. Then I had a spare half hour to kill so read a blog post.
12.30-1.30pm: I push my lunch break back so I only have a full hour. It's a sacrifice worth making for this CEO boss babe.
1.30-2pm: half an hour briefing for the next meeting. I take some selfies of my bum and suppress another yawn.
3pm: ate some chocolate. I should've let myself have more than an hour lunch break! I'm exhausted from all these meetings and ignoring angry customers' emails can be tiring work.
4pm: meeting about another release and before you say anything, YES! We are sustainable! We make sure everything sells out in less than 10 mins. It's called thoughtful marketing, look it up.
5pm: I call someone about this online course I'm taking - can I just skip to the end and pay for the certificate now? I wrote some ideas I have in my journal about some more products I could release... I'm manifesting some funky bamboo pencils rn.
6pm: quiz! This counts as overtime and it will absolutely be reflected in my paycheck this month.
7pm: walked the dog. tit, I forgot he was here. I'll get my roommate to take him out tomorrow.
8pm: finally!!! Some me time!!! Trash TV and dinner. Ahhh what a day. I order a new golden plaque to put on my piano. I deserve it after all.
You’ve absolutely nailed this

I noticed Grace added in a comment on her day in the life post about "balls to walls productivity is my coping mechanism it's not normal."

I genuinely appreciate the sentiment that yes that's not normal and people shouldn't feel bad for not being super productive every single day but... what balls to walls productivity is she talking about outside a pretty normal work from home work load? Like... that day in the life didn't seem too strenuous. Which is actually fine as long as you don't repeatedly make out you're never not working and never expand on what your "emailing" and "meetings" entail.

It also annoys me how she always has to mention that she is so productive and working hard is her coping mechanism. Does choosing which bikini to wear for tanning and sitting in the hot tub each day really scream 'I put my energy into my work to get through difficult times'.

Why are people still hyping this girl and preaching that she's such an iconic boss babe. Someone please get her taken off the Forbes 30 under 30 list if possible.

It comes across as something you’d write for English after the school holidays, and you just add random stuff to make out you’ve been busy. Not just sat around all day, doing nothing.. 🤣

100% this 🙌
If that’s her version of a ‘balls to the wall’ type day then she’s a fool. I would love for her to see what hard graft really is eg. a nurse/ doctor in A&E, a carer working 12+ hour shifts, or even a real CEO who can’t just prance around pretending to be a ‘boss’ and actually has to lead and direct a company. Ffs.

my mother's a CEO and aside from not shoving down the label down everyone's throats, she also does not shove down her psycho work schedule down everyone's throats because she doesn't even have time to think about what anyone thinks about her load of work. And she juggles multiple actual projects from construction to airlines so idk what grace thinks 'projects' are but choosing the tone of colors on activewear and bands is cute i guess. my mother also doesn't need whole minions and bimbos validating her business, work ethic, and position but women empowerment i guess.
she also has time to eat and juggle a whole family so yeah.

Grace saying she’s not shouting about the restock on Instagram because she doesn’t want there to be too much hype so there’s bad customer experience. But she literally just posted it on her Instagram? And I’ve seen about 3 posts about it since yesterday...

Creating fake scarcity to increase demand. Very sustainable of her 😂

Guys, so my mum resells stuff on eBay for a profit (ikr not the best way to make money but if people buy then whatever)
Anyway I saw on this thread that someone was selling their bands and making a profit so told her about this and obviously they restocked today. I told her to make the payment via PayPal just in case and guess what?!

The payment you make goes directly to GenFlow

I’m guessing they mean when you buy from the b_nd website, the statement shows genflow instead.

I used to be a fan of Grace and even considered buying some of her bands, but they’re ridiculously overpriced and ended up getting 3 for less than her one on eBay.

Sorry, no the bands were restocked today so my mum bought some to sell through eBay. The payment through the b_nd site goes directly to genflow it even says powered by GenFlow. I just wished she finally addressed it
She'll say she did because she replied to someone's comments (see a few pages back). Technically true, but very underhanded....

Has anyone seen the controversy about Forbes being duped into thinking that Kylie Jenner was/is a billionaire? Just makes me think that if they didn't do their due diligence on that, they definitely didn't look into Tala's actual ownership or even the atrocious reviews that it (& Shreddy) has been getting online when they decided to award Grace with the 30 under 30 title...

Balls to the walls CEO ‘worked’ in the park today, so glad I just have my normal graduate job working 9 hours a day or I’d be exhausted by 10am

I understand that this is for a good cause and it’s great that this will get lots of donate but when your platform audience is mostly young girls where a large portion may be unemployed etc this isn’t a helpful way for them to help. 50 dollars is a lot of money and grace can certainly afford more than that. Don’t even get me started on the promise of free gifts if you donate. She should explain to her audience the true benefits of giving anything they can even when they won’t receive a reward for it.

Edit - just to add tho I have a lot of respect for grace and how she’s been using her platform to bring awareness the last few days, thats a lot more than other influencers have done and at least she has donated a substantial sum
