She's also clearly picked a day she has more "meetings". Didn't she say at one point she only worked three days a week as well? And I hate the way she writes, she's very immature in the tone she uses.
I agree, I feel like I’m reading my 12 year old self write ugh

Thoughts? I’ll start off by emphasising on how she takes everything personally. ‘eh?’ Wtf is that ??? So unprofessional!!!

Interesting how she's brought this up in the comments but never actually said it on a video?

As in, she mentioned licensing deals a few weeks ago on the TALA takeover, but glossed over the fact that these businesses were started by Genflow.

Prior to that, she always claimed to have started these businesses from scratch which is true on a technicality. Yes, they didn't exist before but in reality, they were bought as a pre-packaged deal from Genflow.

If ever anyone tries to call her out for the Genflow stuff, she'll just claim that she addressed it before which is only half true!

Genflow has helped lots of influencers like Krissy + Natacha but they never professed to be #girlboss babes doing everything themselves. They just launched their products and kept it moving. The product was always the focus, not them or their extraordinary ability to #doitall

While her college at Oxford had a kitchen, it was one shared between all the students that lived there (think it was St. Peter's, though I might be wrong) in a common room. No idea how close it was to her room. I get why she wouldn't want to cook there, & if she had access to the kind of £ you need to eat out daily, enrolling in a college without a kitchen was probably a loss she was willing to take in order to get into Oxford (related to how she chose Music after failing to get into Oxford's PPE BA), especially if it offered the best quality of Music teaching.

She's been less annoying recently, but I don't think I'll trust her again. She never admits she's done anything up-front, won't address the BCAA hypocrisy, is never frank about her feelings (talks a lot of nothing), bigs TALA up endlessly without talking about any of the problems at all. On a personal and business level, she's so insincere, and IDG how she thinks people will trust her business when she operates like this.

The self-made stuff stinks especially. Getting paid £19K to do a pre-university internship is insane in the UK, especially with her just decent grades. Working at Goldman Sachs as a teenager (which she did) is unheard of. It's really hard to get a job in the UK as a graduate, even one that pays £19K, especially if your focus is arts/humanities.

She’s leaner than she has been for quite some time, so I find it interesting that she’s just now mentioning feeling uncomfortable about gaining weight... definitely seems disingenuous when all that time she was like *i LoVe My ThIcC tHiGhS, mOrE oF mE tO hAnDlE*
Not gonna lie I genuinely wonder how she's been lean considering that she literally works out the bare minimum. In her story she said she works out 20 mins max (but also said the other she's testing shreddy plans and how do you do that in 20 mins unless shreddy workouts are 20 mins long lmaoo). This girl srsly has all the right genetics. I think ppl were saying she seemed to have lost weight after her breakup tho (like what was that around Jan? Feb?)

She's now posted a day in the life summary on her own Instagram feed, clearly wasn't all that happy with how the Hello one portrayed her.

It's long so I've whacked it in a spoiler
7.30am: wake up in the mornin feelin like p diddy! this is a fun work from home luxury lie in, sometimes I even push it to 8.30 (I know calm down grace). I wake up to a radio alarm which is nice because it slowly helps you realise that ur alive and the world exists
8am: workout! I do a really short 20 minute session and hardly ever longer than this - this helps me focus (working out gets my brain going so if I’m not careful I end up writing some sort of project on my phone instead of training), it also helps me not burn out
8.30am: I end the workout with a 2 min plank which is the first time I go on my phone if I’m being good (spoiler alert: this has a low success rate). very aware I sound like a psychopath rn. Head upstairs to shower & change into something presentable on my top half #zoomlyf
9am: another coffee & plan my week - I split my to do list into quick ticks, emails/messages, tasks & projects. This helps me stay on top of everything without getting overwhelmed, and helps me time block to work on projects rather than just ticking off quantity rather than quality. I try to keep this as skeletal as poss at this point in the week. I then had around 30 mins to do some quick ticks & respond to messages
9.50am: briefing call for 10am
10am: recruiter call for some roles at @wearetala - time to get scaling baby!
11am: approvals: I receive 2 approval emails per day split into quick approvals & projects which can be anything from approving collection designs, to app updates to PR interviews. I still approve the large majority of movement at both TALA and @shreddy (incl. @b_ndstore), so this makes movement a lot more succinct & allows the teams freedom to operate whilst still enabling me to be a lil bit of a control freak. Other things done before füd inclüd
* Sent out emails - shreddy post-challenge plans, review of the new Condé Nast Sustainable Fashion Glossary & and a summary of how covid-19 has highlighted irresponsible business practices in fashion, and the ways the industry could change going forwards - sent to team TALA
* Looked at rewiringfashion.org, a very interesting analysis of how the fashion industry should look re sustainability and its calendar - again, sent in write up to team TALA
12.30pm: made me some truffle mushrooms on a bagel for breakfast (weirdly boujie but truffle oil addict) - I don’t intentionally intermittently fast but it helps me to regulate my funky blood sugar for longer in the day & I’m most productive in the morning so I get distracted with work. In my lunch break I watched some youtube (some days trashy some days interesting financial/business - depends on my mood)
1.30pm: prep for 2pm call and sent out a few more emails based around my project approvals
2pm: weekly call with the whole of TALA HQ where we touch base on eeeeverything
3pm: ticking things off: a quick touch base call here and there, review of a few samples, actually no clue what else I did in this time. Definitely ate a chocolate bar. Should have taken a longer lunch break because brain was too fried at this point - had a little music loud boogie round the kitchen to help
3.45pm: prep for my call & made a coffee, ate another chocolate bar
4pm: call with TALA operations & creative about future collection plans and release structures
5pm: called a TALA partner for an update chat following this Harvard business course I’ve been doing - needed to discuss website updates and release plans from previous call, then reviewed next B_ND restock plan
6pm: TALA team quiz! Rescheduled from last week
7pm: dog walk
8pm: collapse on sofa for trashy tv and dinner
Please tell me I’m not the only one who thinks that’s no work at all? I swear I do more work in the first hour of my work day 🙄

I know she’s done a day in the life on Instagram CONVENIENTLY straight after hello mag. Surely you would do the one and share

I think shreddy workouts are only twenty mins!!! Which is why I just don’t get how the app has any following. They post the same workouts on the shreddy insta and they wouldn’t even get your heart up for a warmup. No hate on anyone doing shreddy they are just VERY beginner and repetitive. Grace is not doing them. In twenty mins she probs just does a few hip thrusts and some bike sprints

It’s weird how much of a complex she has about proving she’s working hard. When tbf try all you want with scripted day in the life’s. We all see you on social media all day, playing in the hot tub, going on a holiday a month (but never takes time off🙄). She left creates the rod for her own back by trying to shout that she’s the best business women to ever exists, oooh so successful, entrepreneur of the year, hi I’m in Forbes, run three businesses by myself. If she was upfront no one would be arsed about her workload. We talk abo other genflow influencers, no one asks Natasha oceans about how much work she’s done in day because she doesn’t shove it down people’s throats in a patronising and I’m better than you manner

Genuinely my biggest thing here is how much money did that girl make from the bloody internship. Imagine having a temp job for a few months that let you pay your way through years of university plus hiring staff to work for you???
Hun please just admit you’ve been using a trust fund. Unless that internship was about 50k none of the maths adds up for everything you claim to have put it towards plies being FULLY financially independent

Followed this account for a while and they have decided to stop working with b_nd and shreddy. Find this pretty interesting 🤔

Apparently this internship paid for oxford, staff, businesses, vacations what else?? I can't even keep track anymore. Whatever it is i probs should drop my full time job and just apply for it bc it apparently paid a shitload.

Yeah it's bull

I did an internship at a similar firm before uni as well (earning upwards of £10k) and blew through every single penny during that time.

This was even though I lived at home and paid no bills.

If she did pay someone "out of her intern salary" it's because she didn't have to spend it as she had savings prior to working. Another technicality.

Starting an ebook business is a walk in the park compared to a clothing brand, app etc.

While there's no denying that she started the ebook herself (even if she pinched the content from other creators), she's conflating the effort required for each knowing full well that no one else is going to call her out without seeming like a "hater".

Clearly she has deep-rooted issues that make her desperate for people to worship the ground she walks on, even if it's built on lies!

I don't even think people care about Genflow and all that anymore, what pisses people off is how she plays the 'this was so easy' card and makes out like anyone can start a business. Yeah they can Grace, if they have mummy and daddy's money behind them

"Talked about our teams for years" :ROFLMAO: erm ok Grace...
She talks about teams now, but this is a new development
What I don’t get, is when she talks about teams and delegating to more specialised people in each area- where does that leave her. She has a music degree and experience as a YouTube, what does she have down as her expertise to delegate to herself???

Even at the start when she was in the fitness scene, she was sort of like the target consumer so provided use there. She knew what was going on, who was big in the industry, trendy training styles, gymwear etc. But she is fully out that loop now.

The only thing we got clarity on through all the Tala takeovers is that she approves final samples. It’s like at the most she is a still the lead instagrammer involved in their marketing campaign, but she’s not even in the gym
circle enough to be relevant. (Probs why she uses love islanders not PTs as other reps so she looks better)

No different than when I’m a celeb contestants come out and get a boohoo contract and get to decide what colour skirt they want their name on. I’m really struggling to get my head round what knowledge and experience she brings to the business in a day to day basis to help it succeed.

Her reply is interesting because she obviously does have a good business mind to make ebooks, shreddy, tala etc successful. I don't think anyone on this thread is trying to take that away from her. There is just no way someone on an intern wage would be able to finance a whole other person. But maybe her income from youtube and Instagram was enough to supplement back then?

She's definitely business minded, and probably would have done better going to another Russell Group university and studying a business-orientated course, but of course she couldn't go without the status of Oxford. I really want to like Grace, I think she's doing well for herself and is a relatively good role model, but the lack of awareness about her privilege is just vile. All she has to do is acknowledge it in a video and everyone will move on, but she's so narcissistic that she really truly believes she made all this from the ground up.
