Probably an unpopular opinion but I actually quite like Denise V O's partner, he does come out with some funny one liners.

Nah, he’s a try hard! It’s so fake and he tries to act like little ole me who got with a celeb, when I reckon he’s a right prick if he goes out anywhere. ‘Don’t you know who I am’ oozes from every pore in his body’
Always loved Denise though! She sang at one of my companies venues before lockdown and was great, her other half wasn’t there, so I’m still employed

I saw on TikTok the other day that Pete, Sophie and (I assume) the rest of their family (could’ve been actors though) were on a talk talk advert before they were on gogglebox.

I’ve not liked them since day 1 and my opinion has never changed.

I don’t understand why people dislike Ellie and Izzy. I don’t love them but they don’t bother me either.

If I was asked who to axe then, without hesitation, my choice would be Pete and Sophie, followed by the Baggs family.

Our favourites are Giles & Mary, the Siddiqui's, the Malones, the Welsh couple in Carmarthen are ok, Marina & Mary in the flat were good too, r.i.p Mary
The show could do with a bit of pruning, & bin Tremayne & Tristan etc, the Durham thickos, the 2 sisters in Leeds.

The 3 T's don't bother me as they are rarely shown as often as other families. Fully agree about the Durham girls and the Leeds sisters. I would also say the same about the husband & wife - the woman who is always laying on the sofa. Shows how much I have taken notice of them as I can't even remember their names! I would add the new, not so new Baggs family to the list. They appeared a few series ago, disappeared but were not missed, yet are back again

I think that's just the way she is. Mel c made me laugh when they were talking about pigman and she said 'is he half pig half man? I've met a few of them'.

I liked how Mel C spoke in her "normal" voice to her brother instead of the telephone voice she uses in interviews,

To be honest I am sick of seeing the Kemps on TV now, just have to turn them off or mute them on Gogglebox.

I thought I was the only one. They are bloody everywhere. Have they done the Father/Son travelogue yet? Going to America with the Dad always being hopelessly old fashioned and the son laughing at him? That seems to be the standard formula.

I didn't realise Helena's mother's partner wasn't her father. Has the old couple from County Durham been axed? I think Mary and Giles have had their day now, they are becoming banal. I can't stand Pete and Sophie, they are both fake, that said, Pete is nice to look at. I like Dave and Shirley. Jenny and Lee are fake you can tell the producers tell them to do and say things. I'm not interested in the Saddiqi family. The Bag family are dull. Amani and Iqra very dull, not interested. Helena and her mother and step dad are very annoying, get rid of them too. Lol is there anyone left who I haven't axed?

i truly hate when they watch the news (unless it’s a funny or celebrity story) - it always drags the tone of the show down. like you say, there’s so much enjoyable stuff they could be watching.

I know - because they all say the same thing. It would be far more entertaining if there were differing political viewpoints. I can't believe Mary doesn't love Boris for instance.
Plus I want Gogglebox to be an escape from the bloody news.
