Just saying I still love Gogglebox, I only started watching about 3 years ago, thought watching people watch tv, WTF, but it's a fun mindless end to the week for me!

I think they should concentrate on mainstream channels of what has been on in the week.
Showing a Netflix programme every week (“You”) has stopped me from bothering to watch that series as I know what happens.

If I hadn't just finished watching 'You' I would have been so annoyed this week with what they showed. That was ridiculous.

Watching Bafta TV awards. Gogglebox won an award, Lee did a speech. He mentioned Larry the Duck.....there was silence!

Anne and Ken wasn't the best. Helena looks like her step dad oddly enough Amani I think has good comic timing, Mica and Marcus were better with the kids with them and the rest are too fake. They play up too much because they are being filmed. No way will they watch TV in the same way when not filming. I would be no good on the show as I would be like Silent Jay when he was on. I watch in silence and add in the occasional comment. I don't shout at what I am watching or do outlandish manerisms like I am shocked or scared at what I am seeing.

Tbf I do comment a lot when watching certain programmes (mainly dramas, thrillers and true crime, not Emmerdale lol) and when something happens that I didn’t expect I gasp, grab my husband’s arm and shake it gently as if to ask “can you believe that?” I do believe that they may have mannerisms as such when watching television but they ham it up with extra cheese because they have been told to.

Comedy gold that one.... it’s interesting to see that Jonathan Ross had a large chunk of time on the show yesterday... and some, who are genuinely funny like Paul and Mel, didn’t get a lot of air time... maybe some celebrities bin it off when they don’t get much air time compared to time spent filming....

I’ve not liked them since day 1 and my opinion has never changed.

I don’t understand why people dislike Ellie and Izzy. I don’t love them but they don’t bother me either.

If I was asked who to axe then, without hesitation, my choice would be Pete and Sophie, followed by the Baggs family.

Ellie and Izzy annoy me when they spend so much time talking about junk food. But they aren't the worst people on the show.

And it was nice seeing them back and hearing Ellie talking to Nat because it means he must be on the road of recovery. Which is always positive.

I know - because they all say the same thing. It would be far more entertaining if there were differing political viewpoints. I can't believe Mary doesn't love Boris for instance.
Plus I want Gogglebox to be an escape from the bloody news.

I think Mary has been quite open about being a Tory in the past but even she isn't happy with Boris.

Half way though last nights show. Think it was an all black special (channel 4 being doing it all week). Gotta admit though, so far this has got to be one of the best episodes yet

I also have no idea. Obviously she and JV are not family, but friends??!! Yes, I also find that hard to believe. The only thing I know they have in common is both being on the radio, unless I have missed something far more obvious. It's becoming even more than silly now.

I really like Simon and his sister Jane. It's funny how some couples just slot right in.
