This one has more holes in it than a sieve, but I guess at least it stands out a mile.... he just comes across as a bit .... erm..... not very bright....
It's the clever ones that annoy me more sometimes, as there is a lot of trickery and deception in how they are worded, and they aren't open and honest. They raise a shed load of cash by playing on words and being manipulative.....

Yes,I am sure this wasn't the original purpose of these site's,quite why they allow it is ludicrous. But as with anything the company takes their slice of the pie,so don't really give a tit about the reasons. I was going to say the same thing,it's been written to appeal to "little" old ladies I reckon,pulling on the heartstrings,when in fact it does the opposite. At least nobody has donated. But you know what, I really want a bedroom make over. I want new fitted wardrobes. Maybe I should forget everything I was taught about saving my own money and just beg for it, seems to be the way of the world now.
GoFundMe should have some sort of vetting process and disallow the silly crap like this, it makes a mockery of the site.

Yes,I bet his little family feel they've hit the jackpot. At least he hadn't lied or made up some elaborate story,but that's why it hasn't worked for him. Honestly doesn't seem to pay as well as deception in most cases.
One of the comments said that they hadn't heard about the fire & were local. She replied that her uncle wasn't up to speaking to ITV yet. It just sounded very suss
