Getting really bored with it now. It's just face painting with knobs on. They had guest judge Isamaya Ffrench, so why can we not have had a make up challenge or a tutorial from her, and then they have to design their own look based on her style? It's just monsters and prosthetics, every single week!!

Yes to all of the above!! Maybe the producers think that "normal" make up is boring and won't come across on the screen as well? The face painting side of it just doesn't appeal, and I don't see the point in it. I'm not going to spend 5 hours painting my face, taking a few photos and then taking it off again. Not relatable.

Dealing with skin tones, textures, spots, scars, sparse eyelashes, wonky eyebrows, wonky lips, asymmetrical features etc is much more "real world" amd would test them more I think. (Says the woman who has no make up skills at all!)

I do agree that more everyday make up tasks would be good. I do love the ones when they do onto set but I would love a task where they have say a stall and they get random people coming and they could be asked to do anything. Would show how was good on their feet and their true technique to adapt make up to all sorts of skin types etc

I like the idea of the gore and glam this week. The contestants are so dull this series.

And the sets of "face off" twins look more and more pissed off every single week. Probably wishing they could sell their twin-ness for dangerous medical experiments rather than sit there and be drawn on by tossers.

Yep would love to see challenges doing makeup on mature skin, problematic skin with acne etc, makeup on all different ethnicities and face shapes!

I wish the 2nd challenge wasn’t just face painting. I liked the first series where they were given briefs of fashion shows etc. I wish it was about makeup and not face painting with prosthetics.
(Plus there seems to be an obligatory drag week which seems pointless because unless you want to be a drag Queen/king you wouldn’t apply that sort of makeup because they do it themselves? Also I’m not a fan of drag queens so that plays a part)
