I came on here to talk about that home gym.
I hate influencer marketing.
She just GETS hundreds/thousands of pounds of gym equipment just cause she has lots of followers??
Then she had the cheek in her reel to say she was PROUD of her gym? PROUD?? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR IT? Nothing. Absolutley nothing.
Im not even jealous, i have my own home gym. But i bloody paid for it. Pisses me off that these people just get everything handed to them on a plate. Fuck off Georgia.

Former client of G's here! Is this thread active? I pretty much made this account to come and comment here.
Firstly - I just wanna say she was ok as a coach. She actually helped in some ways. I was pretty skinny and eating low cals for the past few years, always tired and non period. She helped me to start training in an organized manner and I've been eating 2000 plus calories for a year now without any weight gain other than the first 1kg which I probably needed to gain to get my period back anyway.
Having said that, she is definitely not great and she's very much lying about her cals. After counting my calories for years I've become pretty good at guesstimating and let me tell you she fakes her cals alot. If you go look at her milkshake from most recent post, there's no way that's 600 cals and 90 grams of oats in that shake. 90 grams of oats that would be like a solid bowl of porridge lmao. Also her dinner numbers are fudged. There's no way that shepherds pie has 550 grams of potatoes lol. I'm surprised not more people have called her out as what she's doing is setting false expectations and just plain irresponsible.
She also has one approach fits all to her coaching. I told her a few times I wasnt comfortable with putting more than 1 kg on during this process, but she came off like she thought I was too skinny so it didn't matter what I said. OBVIOUSLY everyone wants to look like her with a big bum... well I didnt and when she tried to push my calories past 2200 I left her program. I saw the other girls overshoot with their weight and im not interested in showing down lots of food everyday just to yo-yo through bulk and cut phases. For me 2000 cals is plenty of food on most days and I was happy with getting my period back and working out 3 days a week.
Anyway I felt like I was being pushed into a mold and I didnt like it.

I used to love her posts, but they’re just getting more and more cringey. All I see in her now is oooooo look at me and how privileged and amazing I am. Her glutes is all that’s good about her, which she must know as they’re the centre of every pic she posts 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 she’s nothing but a basic insta influencer these days. Her feedback from her recent post highlights how everyone’s opinions have also changed.

Also why is she so fixated on the bad comments? Doesn’t give the nice ones a reply. Clearly posts these controversial posts for engagement.

She is so boring eh 😂 I don’t know why I still follow her. Only thing she ever really gives to me is an excuse to report undeclared ads every time because I’m petty 💁‍♀️

I do wonder if she's going to lose engagement and followers now that she's not competing anymore. She still has her coaching and fitness content to push to try and make money, but surely now she's going to be more of a lifestyle influencer than a bodybuilding one? She has a nice body but part of that can be put down to being a wealthy, pretty woman in her early 20s. I started following her when she was doing prep and I found her transparency about the process really warm and refreshing, but what exactly is meant to be appealing about watching her content now? All she does is eat the same foods, hang out with Harv and her dog, go on pricy holidays and buy questionable luxury fashion items. It's dull as ditch water.

Annoys me when fitness influencers keep posting things like g in her latest reel, "scales don't define you" then proceeds to show her body at different weight. Don't know what the aim of this is but for someone who preaches about scale not defining you she talks about weight an awful lot

I find it quite weird she rarely mentions she's a giant amongst most women when people ask her how she can eat such high calories. Isn't she like 5'10 or something...

She and other influencers need to realise that when they decide to make themselves a brand and put themselves out into the public eye that people will criticise you.
GLJ is a brand now. All brands get criticism and it winds me up so much that influencers think they should have an echo chamber of people licking their arses with every step they take.

G, I can't speak for the DMs but I saw the comments. You didn't get hate. A lot of what you got was constructive criticism. Use it, learn from it to make your platform better.
Don't play the "trolls and bullies" card because you didn't like what was said on a public forum. The people who follow you and engage with your content are the reason you have that nice house and a wardrobe full of designer clothes. They're the reason you were gifted a home gym. They're the reason you can go on luxurious holidays. You absolutely cannot take all of the perks of being an influencer and expect no "negativity"

They’re annoying me more and more now, I think I might need to unfollow. The undeclared ads 24/7 are really annoying too

I feel more and more like she's made a fundamental error with her influencing - she was really onto a winner with the way she recorded her prep and competing, now that she's decided not to bodybuild anymore it's becoming very clear that she and Harv are really basic and boring, both in their taste levels and their lifestyles. Like every time they go out they have pornstar martinis, they never try anything new! Also I can't believe you'd go to Venice and then eat sushi...

surprise, surprise, the home gym is an ad.

G doing ads doesn't massively bother me because she doesn't do many outside of MP and NVGTN, but the lack of transparency pisses me off.

'IIFYM Queen'. Anyone can fit in protein cookies, bread and cereal in their macros, it's not rocket science. Just because it fits, doesn't mean you should though.

Shouldn't she be #ad or #aff all these what I eat in a day posts as she works with MyProtein?

I actually feel petty for how much I’ve reported her to ASA recently 🥲😂

I don’t understand why she doesn’t know or maybe that she just doesn’t care 🙄 that anything she wears MyProtein/NVGTN/her gym should clearly be marked as ad

I still believe she may fake being on such high calories because she knows it makes her engagement high.
Pretty smart tbh if she is, but so, so wrong.

Edited to add that I think Fit to Lift does this as well. A lot of the FDOE pics are bars in wrappers and that's usually a red flag (and it's them just trying to advertise something like a protein bar).
