I love that she made a fantastic stunt career after that and I think after meeting Angelina on Tomb Raider she is godmother to one of her kids.

She was amazing! And I wish she could do a special episode or something. Maybe a "Masters Gladiators".

It doesn’t mention him appearing in Die Another Day on either his Wikipedia or on IMDB but it does mention on this website linked below that he appeared as a soldier in a James Bond film (but it doesn’t say which one) “…he's often been cast in films in powerful roles, even appearing in a James Bond film as a soldier”.

Thats just how TV show filming works. Tickets are free, so it's first come first serve. Was always the same for the Arena X Factor Auditions at the O2, and large TV shows over and Fountain Studios near Wembley.

Expect it to be a long, tiring and expensive (they won't allow much outside food and drink) day, long periods of time between games, pauses for reshoots of post game interviews etc etc

I fully understand that this is just the process and how it’s always been done. But there has to be a better way.

I don’t watch Gladiators but I am aware of some of the male gladiators for… reasons. I remember seeing Nitro on last year’s Strictly Christmas special, and wanting him to pick me up and carry me round.

Nitro defo has a presenter role in him, he’s my son’s favourite and is just all round likeable.

So glad Keeva went through, I didn’t like Rachel and I couldn’t stand Andy so glad the other guy went through too (can’t remember his name).

I’m so here for the extra Athena this season Sabre is my least favourite female gladiator, she seems so heavily into being some kind of star! I don’t follow any of the glads on social media so I could be totally wrong with this kind of observation though.

I'll spoiler this for those who've not yet watched, but isn't it likely that a stand-in will always win the eliminator because unlike the other contestant they've not exerted energy in all of the preceding games? Of course there may be evidence from previous episodes to disprove this, and I don't know what the alternative solution would be so I'm just thinking out loud

They have a very long break between events. Normally an hour +, so its not truly that much of an unfair advantage.

I was thinking the other day that they should do a special where the gladiators go up against each other on the events and also have them all do the eliminator - that would be so entertaining.

My thoughts are that most of them are built for power and strength and would actually struggle with the eliminator!

I say this every week since the show was brought back. Initially I thought thats what the tour was.
