A section of the M50 was closed all day due to a fatal collision in the morning- a motorbike collided with a truck and the motorcyclist was killed. There were major traffic delays as a result, flights delayed and exams suspended at one of the universities etc. I wondered whether the concert would start on time when I heard the news.

I don’t know if it’s the sound in Dublin but they sound dreadful. I know they’re not great vocalists but it sounded so weak to me. I hope people enjoyed the show anyway because they’ve waited so long to see them again.
