Absolutely this!!!As horrific as it is what Georgie has done, the real issue here is still this collective of instahuns who relentlessly shared information of their auction on their profiles. They asked people to get involved, to help in anyway they could, to donate, etc. They shared this woman's story and sold it as Georgie being somehow more worthy of this effort and support than anyone else. How or why? Well, that didn't matter. Why did this particular collective of instahuns have any right to decide that this one woman was more worthy of your help than anybody else out there? In presuming they had that right, they had an obligation - a duty of care, if you like. All they had to do was the smallest iota of background research, but they didn't. Didn't do their homework, fact checking - didn't exercise any due diligence on the matter. If they had, they would of then been able to deduce that this whole thing was a fabrication, a complete work of fiction. But nah, it never even occurred to them because it was never even about Georgie and her story (even if it had been true). It was all for their own selfish gains. And now that the tit has hit the fan? Awk no, it's okay folks. They're not culpable. Wash their hands of it and back to posting the same vapid, mind numbing tit on a daily basis. Rinse and repeat. It's honestly ridiculous the more you think about it.

No, Georgie and whoever was in on this scam with her, are entirely the ones to blame for that. Just that. Simply that. But those instahuns have large followings, they have a platform. They've a duty to use it responsibly and they didn't. At the end of the day, excuses can always be made - by anyone, for anything. But excuses are just that. They're not valid reasons, rooted in any substance. They didn't give a tit about their followers, some of whom will have CONSIDERABLY less than these airheads themselves. As I said, Hollie dressed in Berta Bridal, lecturing people who believe in socialism and a fairer society, on why her poor husband shouldn't have to pay higher taxes as a business owner. Suck it up or else he's free to quit and find his nearest job centre. Carly and her lumispa shite, afflinks, holiday to Greece. Amy and her business. Being "gifted" this and that, left right and centre. Privileged lives that some of us can only dream of and they haven't even the decency to behave in a way that shows gratitude for what they have. They have ALL this and still asked people to donate MONEY during a COST OF LIVING CRISIS. There are only irrelevant and flimsy excuses as to why they shouldn't have to wear any of the responsibility and I have to say, I'm sorry, but I don't give a tit about a single one of those excuses.

Nobody is doubting that Georgie is a fucked up nutcase. However ‘not seeing the issue’ that these people wanted to boost their profile using someone that’s got ‘cancer’ to do so and asking people to donate MONEY in a time of financial hardship. Yes people don’t have to donate but people would have seen that story and felt awful for her and because these women were pushing it so much- for example, Carly Harris had a passive aggressive rant about people not clicking her links to donate money, so people went back to click the links because they felt guilty., thus donating to the scam. Now these huns have washed their hands of it all and don’t want to talk about it. Sorry but how can you not see how fucked up that is?
