These “woke” trans activists are so narrow minded and intolerable of other people’s opinions that they will just instantly unfriend you for just sharing your opinion and you have done nothing wrong!I'm still shaking right now but I don't regret doing it. It's these small things that we need to do.

I have no issue with Trans people, I feel so very sorry that they feel they way they do and having to go through the trauma of surgery to become the person they believe they are. I do not judge them and hope that they are happy in their new lives.
I will be honest, I do not really understand 'non binary', I don't dispute that people might feel this way but to me gender isn't on a 'scale'. I appreciate that this is something I need to educate myself further on.
I think it is unfair to dismiss concerns of cis-women and there needs to be a real discussion about protecting the rights of both cis and trans women and how this can be achieved without there being the possibility for the rules to be exploited.
With regards to the previous discussion on sport, it seems clear to me that M to F athletes competing as women have an advantage and there needs to be proper open discussion about this in sporting circles. It would not surprise me if we went down the route of genetically testing athletes and them competing under XX or XY chromosomes.
They call us “terfs” however the reality of the situation is they are just eradicating us of our opinions and concerns about the fact that, and to quote J K Rowling, “A man who intends to have no surgery and take no hormones may now secure himself a Gender Recognition Certificate and be a woman in the sight of the law. Many people aren’t aware of this.“

Why do they think they deserve to be heard when they say JKR doesn't deserve to be heard? Unlike them she clearly put time and effort into her essay, and it was extremely compassionate and tactful. Everyone else on my FB seems to be too afraid to get involved one way or the other, except for one guy who liked my posts and private messaged me. He's echoing everything we've been saying here. I truly believe most people feel this way but are too terrified to speak up.

I think its disappointing that men are commenting on what is primarily a woman's issue, the discussions being had do not affect men in they way they affect women.
I'm not saying they can't add to the discussion but they have not had the same experiences as women. In the same vein I don't think men should have any say over my reproductive organs and my right to procure an abortion (thank duck I don't live in the States)

I'm unreservedly pro-gay marriage and pro-choice, but I had quite a few friends on FB who were vocally opposite. I heavily disagreed with their opinions but I didn't put my fingers in my ears and go la la la and unfriend them. I'm confident enough in my beliefs that I can defend them, why can't they?
