There's even a derogatory word for trans (transsexual) people who believe you can't be trans without gender dysphoria. The term is "truscum"
The fact that all this has its own vocabulary is very cult likeThere's even a derogatory word for trans (transsexual) people who believe you can't be trans without gender dysphoria. The term is "truscum"![]()
How is JK Rowling putting trans people at risk???? What utter crap.Look at Carrie fletcher starting a witch hunt on JK Rowling on a book she hasn’t even read. She annoys me
It’s so annoying. And Carrie is supposed to be an author herself. Aren’t authors supposed to read books first before judging the book. As the saying goes, NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! Clearly Carrie can’t even read the book. She hasn’t made any comment about other books like silence of the lambs. And I bet soon she will post any tweet saying some bull about her being bullied and getting hateMust be a slow day in lockdown for these morons who feel the need to publicly denounce someone’s work before actually checking it out for themselves. All they see is a controversial headline and a way to increase their likes and followers. Nothing better to talk about?
Also, on the subject of JKR’s new book, I wonder why there wasn’t the same uproar over Thomas Harris’ novel, “Silence of the Lambs” when it also featured a serial killer who dressed as a woman (and made a “woman suit” from the skins of his female victims). Oh that’s right, because it was published in the 80’s and the “woke” generation didn’t exist then.![]()
oops! I've judged her books by their covers and decided to definitely not read them. It’s so annoying. And Carrie is supposed to be an author herself. It's really irritating me the number of people judging this book without reading it! There are conflicting reviews, how can you have an opinion about it when you haven't read it yourself. It's sheer stupidity. Also not sure how people on the TRA side don't think it's a slippery slope from here, making judgements about people and their books based on hearsay alone, and all this talk of book burning. And we're meant to think this is progressive? It’s so annoying. And Carrie is supposed to be an author herself. Aren’t authors supposed to read books first before judging the book. Ok I’m so confused about this book issue. I thought the potential serial killer was transvestite, which I think isn’t transgender? I’m honestly confused by the terms transvestite and transgender because I’ve read contradictory things.Look at Carrie fletcher starting a witch hunt on JK Rowling on a book she hasn’t even read. Another thought I have is what about the millions of books where males kill males, where is the outrage for a fictional loss of life then?! Same for women killing women in a book? Where is the outrage for all crime books? Why is it only an outrage when the suspect is a cross dresser?! Where is the outrage for a male character going on a serial kill hunt killing several women? Where is the outrage and boycotting on books and hatred for the author then?! You killlllled lots of people in that book you wrote and that's a hatecrime. Ffs.Ok I’m so confused about this book issue. I thought the potential serial killer was transvestite, which I think isn’t transgender? Even if the serial killer was a member of the trans community, it doesn’t mean it puts them at grave risk? Wouldn’t this excessive negative publicity actually put the community at more risk? I don’t know.
Extremely disturbing that a medical doctor clearly does not respect patient autonomy in any shape or form! No, duck this tit. Absolutely duck this tit. What if this persons daughter is uncomfortable?
