Gay men should be absolutely raging about these individuals co-opting Pride, and I know slme are, but among my substantial number of gay friends... silence.
All the gay people I know are but I only have gender critical friends now.
That wasn't a choice as such, but the rest ditched me for my views.

Do any of our fabulous North East terfs recognise this pub.
Notice he won't listen to the women but when blokes tell him to fuxk off he does.
It doesn't look like the type of pub he would frequent, so wondering if he went into purely to use women's toilets.
Those filters are working hard!

I’m about 10 pages behind at the moment but I need to have a rant.

I recently witnessed a crime (I’m ok) so police took a statement over the phone. When they sent me a copy to review they used the word ‘lady’ instead of ‘woman’ or ‘female’ throughout (the man was ‘male’ of course) and it really irked me although can’t articulate why. Is it patronising? Anyway I asked them to change all use of ‘lady’ to woman as it’s not a term I use and it is my statement after all. Which they did with no resistance to be fair.

Anyway I had a second call to take more details and the police officer said to me “I identify as male. How do you identify yourself” Well blow me down, I was not expecting that! I just responded “I am a woman”. Which I’m quite pleased with as I was not in the slightest bit prepared for it, but wish I had said “I don’t have an identity” first.

they’ve sent me a copy of the form and of course the box is “gender” and it must be free type because he entered “woman”!!

i want to laugh at the absurdity but this is also the bloody police!!! This must be happening day in, day out. I hope they don’t come arrest me now for saying “I am a woman”. Actually wish I had said “adult human female”. Maybe next time!!

That photo makes me a bit sad. None of them are life's high fliers, are they?

Being trans is probably the only time they've felt special or important or noticed. It would be tragic if they weren't such bullies.
I was just going to call them fugly but you are much more compassionate. They are honestly quite pathetic and if they weren't a danger to women, I would view them as a bit of a joke with a dash of pity.

My best mate is from Gateshead so I’m going to send this to her to ask if she knows which pub it is!

As much as the thought of a GP having a Palestine pin badge AND A DESK FLAG (somehow the need to display two flags makes me think extremist) makes me feel uncomfortable, I do agree that the NHS have asked for a lawsuit like this, such is their worship of the Progress pride flag.

If we can have this stupid tit:

Then we can have NHS staff wearing Palestine flags or bleeping Islamic State flags or any other dangerous or dubious political ideology. All or nothing.
I used to work here 🙃, thankfully prior to the addition of that monstrosity.

Witnessed a couple of small wins on telly today. Because of Trump's statement about paracetamol today every news programme has covered it. They've all had midwives/doctors on discussing it. Thankfully every one I've seen have referred to 'pregnant women' and 'mum/mother'. It's sad that I'd been bracing myself for 'people' and 'birthing partner" but I've not seen any.
Small win x

Yes! I've been really enjoying hearing the phrase "pregnant women". Although I think in all other aspects Trump is off his rocker.

This is my thoughts on it. It has to be an all or nothing otherwise it is just at the whim of someone deciding what is right of wrong think.

So he was getting ready to appear on TV. Two of the crew were trans, but they are the most oppressed people in the UK? Does not look that way to most of us you deluded idiot.
And how did they each know the other two were trans so they could have that discussion 🫠

I know on the whole they are rejecting what Trump says but I do wonder if they only now remember to call us pregnant women because the conversation is around what women should or shouldn’t be doing during pregnancy. When the conversation centres on control, risk or restriction, “woman” suddenly reappears!

It's a real puzzler isn't it? 🤔

I wonder if they send out pink, blue and white pheromones?

Of if trans calls to trans like mastodons across the primeval swamp, like Bertie Wooster's aunts?

God help me, I agree with Reform. The council chairman is right

Similar to the Palestine flag badge, if you allow one symbol then you have to allow them all IMHO which sets a bad precedent.

According to the Green Councillor, having the national flag but not having the pride flag up will make LGBTQ think that the State plans to castrate them

"Green councillor Sam Jones also suggested the flag policy was "actually about eliminating all things Pride".
"We used to arrest and even castrate people for even being gay in this country, and we did it in living memory," he said.
"Raising the Pride flag is the promise that we, as custodians of this council, make. To do all that we can to ensure that we never return to those days when some people felt like they had to hide from the world.
"It doesn't take a genius to work out that raising the flag of the country that did the castrating and imprisoning and denying the raising of a Pride flag alongside it, doesn't exactly send the most welcoming of messages."
