Completely agree. It's why I always use trans-identified male, TIM etc. - keeping the word 'woman' completely separated from them.

let’s be real, trans ‘rights’ aren’t human rights, they’re human WANTS. They WANT access to spaces designated to the opposite sex. They WANT access to sterilising and disfiguring medical care, where there is no medical need. They WANT to control how others feel, speak and think about them.
The last is more complicated, but the rest are not rights that any of us are entitled to. An anorexic does not have the ‘right’ to starve herself to death - in a truly free/liberal/whatever society we could argue that she is free to do so, but not to the point where the state enables her mental illness. As a mentally ill person, she does have the right to appropriate care for her mental illness which, funnily enough, isn’t facilitating her self-starvation.
‘Trans rights’ completely obscure the intended purpose of human rights. Yes, a trans identified person has the same rights the rest of us do - freedom from harassment, persecution, discrimination etc. I can even concede that those who have transitioned may require additional discrimination protections in a protected characteristics sense- the toothpaste is out of the tube, so to speak.
But they didn’t have the ‘right’ to make themselves that way. It was a choice, and one they should be encouraged to take responsibility for. It’s how you help mentally unwell people get better.

I’ve probably said this before but when I was out on the streets getting people to sign up for the GRA consultation with Fair Play for Women, nearly all the people I spoke to thought that transwomen = women who identify as trans; not men who identify as women.
The skewing of language was calculated justify as much as TRAs got through self ID in Ireland under the shield of abortion rights. Such sick people sneaking in the right to trash women’s spaces under a law reform which is about saving women’s lives.
Women should have never been part of the trans label the same as CIS nothing to do with the word Women.

It reminded me that I saw the councillor Mandy Clare (who got kicked out of Chester Storyhouse during a women’s event that included TIMs) was arrested and charged for an incident at Winsford Pride a few months ago.
It could be another Glinner situation but I am a bit cautious about blindly supporting someone just because they are GC. But this is what another councillor who was there said about it
It was quite funny when he kept trying to get selected as a parliamentary candidate and getting knocked back because no Constituency Labour Party was mental enough to pick him, even in BRIGHTON!!I think the official turning point was when Eddie Izzard joined the trans club - he's consistently on the wrong side of everything. Now it's just a matter of time.

I don't care how many security vests and bits and bobs the boys were wearing. They had no right to tell her to leave on any basis.
I hope she demands an apology at least from the dozy MP who ordered her out.
She should ask on what authority the MP was acting - and the same of the security boys.
Visiting Stoke Park - Guildford Borough Council
In fact Julie Bindel should have said 'No! I am asking you to leave ' which would have been equally as mistaken but very funny.
I note the Park was a donation to Guildford as the lung of the town.

This Tarquin bully is going to pick on the wrong person one day and come off worse. He seems to think he has a right to intimidate women. Personally I think it's about time he was reported to the police for harassment. Some time spent in jail would be good for him.His parents should be deeply ashamed of raising a son like that.
Luckily they've as much chance of being in government as I have.
Who are they appealing to? You cannot simultaneously have the TRA vote, women's vote and the Muslim community's vote.
I really hope he loses his case against Glinner (TBH, I'm not hopeful). He needs to start having some real-world legal consequences for his constant harassment. It will either make him wake up, or potentially, it will make him even more rabid!
His parents should be deeply ashamed of raising a son like that.
He's a walking red flag. As are the older men who are using him.
