Didn't they discover recently that normal fertilization isn't whichever sperm gets there first - the egg spins round to prevent that, choosing the one it wants?
I didn't know that - that's fascinating! So the egg is doing its best to ensure that a healthy (and not just the first out of the tap) sperm is the one to fertilise it?
Mother Nature gets more and more of my respect every day.
It would be interesting to get some long-term studies on these infants as they grew into adulthood to see if there are any physical or mental anomalies (beyond standard levels). And on the pregnancy experiences/ health of their mothers.
Yet it doesn't seem to work the other way - they damage property (and people!) with impunity.
And all these years the world has thought that "being a woman" meant you didn't have a pen at all.
It’s bewildering that people actually can go along with this utter bull at all. How on earth can anyone take some deranged man seriously when he all of a sudden announces he’s a woman, even though everyone knows he’s a biological man, and he’s to be believed , and treated as special. There is absolutely nothing different about him. Nothing has changed and yet he’s to be treated as if somehow he magically is now female despite his male anatomy. Same with Dr Theo, again perplexing how medical staff can take him seriously when he’s a man with a wife and male anatomy. It makes the staff in that awful hospital look plain stupid that they believe a deluded manipulative man.
As for trans “rights”, it’s not human rights they’re after, its the privilege they’re after to break boundaries, barge into women’s spaces and places and be treated as special and untouchable.
I hope all the other staff are being given the same amount of break time as him, and not expected to pick up the slack? Otherwise they're being discriminated against.

If he can identify as a woman, and receive "pen-comfort" breaks, then surely you women can identify as having penises, and also receive that special time to adjust your imaginary tackle.
If you have the stomach for it, you could follow him into (I assume) the women's toilets and stay in the cubicles or handwashing area loudly saying things like "God! It's so good to let my willie swing free after that hour trapped in my knickers! What about you Doreen? Is your willie feeling the benefit? "It is Enid - you wouldn't believe how constricted it has felt all morning" etc

Just going back to the IVF chat, both of my children are IVF. I have unexplained infertility (and nothing apparently wrong with my husband’s sperm either)
I had every test done that was available and there was no reason as to why I couldn’t conceive.
Once implanted, the pregnancy and labour were textbook both times. My children are intelligent, energetic regular kids.
I will be eternally grateful to the medical staff who gave me a helping hand. There are many women who go on to have natural pregnancies after IVF. There are many women who have IVF after having secondary infertility.
Of course I understand that many people don’t agree with the practice. I don’t agree with surrogacy or egg donation therefore can I be classed as a hypocrite?
I don’t know what I’m trying to achieve with what I’m saying as I’m not trying to change people’s minds or make anyone feel bad about their opinion. Just wanted to put in my tuppence worth to say that I’m very glad that I could give Mother Nature a nudge in the right direction.

And what about when you get dressed in a hurry and one leg of your tights is twisted? That's a bugger all day, that is.
As you have said - you had healthy eggs, your husband had healthy sperm. Sometimes it is the stress of trying to conceive that actually prevents conception.
I think it is instances where there are obvious abnormalities in either gamete that people should think twice. Maybe there will be a healthy baby - but that isn't to sy that that baby won't carry an abnormality into the next generation?
