I suppose its fairly obvious if you think about it, that putting people onto strong hormone replacement drugs for life, is a good move for pharma companies.....
But this is a scandal! It needs to be better advertised, and just because the USA are promoting trans issues, this doesnt mean that the UK needs to do so as well!

TRAs live in an echo chamber. They can say what they want about it being a "non-event" if that makes them feel better, but it's pretty telling that Marion raised over 20k within a few hours. We may not be out on the streets protesting but there's a lot of people who are silently supporting her.
The world is a very scary place at the moment and the “good guys” are not the ones telling you that they are.
I used to scoff at conspiracy theories about creating a single world nation, a handful of elites having all the control, money becoming obsolete etc but it seems like it’s playing out.
Your digital funding can be cut off if you don’t tow the line. Your ability to go places will be cut off if you don’t tow the line. Moves to blend all people into genderless, cultureless and raceless masses at the whim of corporations who know every tiny detail about you.
It’s incredibly dystopian.

Coming out of lockdown and it feels like I’m entering this horrible world that has been festering on the internet for so long unseen but has been able to finally escape.

I honestly am starting to believe it’s not about protecting men with fetishes, but rather stripping power and special protection away from women in the name of global control.
Look at where in the world this trans phenomenon has gained traction, and compare it to where in the world women enjoy the most power and autonomy.
Completely agree. I didn’t even appreciate how much traction it was getting until I joined TikTok. It was literally EVERYWHERE. What worries me is that TikTok is where the kids are! I’m 34 and have been alive long enough to just roll my eyes at the 20 year olds on there spouting about it, but kids listen. The promotion of defining pronouns on IG now, too. I will never subscribe to that at all. I will never subscribe to the change of language that was once exclusive to women. I will never refer to myself as a birthing person. If a nurse/doctor does refer to me as such, I will correct them. I will never call it “chest feeding” just to appease someone else. Never.
It’s beyond ridiculous by this point. I’ve not had children yet, but I must admit, the more I learn about what is happening the less likely I am to have any. It’s terrifying.
I am 31 and have not go tiktok but from the few things I have seen and on reddit its everywhere and it is all so aggressive. I do not like this new world and I have been hoping for an anti social media revolution but I just cant see it any more. People would rather have friends in their phone than real life.
I had a chat with my partner earlier around Marion Millar/self ID/the usual stuff we talk about here, we've never really spoken about gender despite being together for a while so I was a little hesitant/nervous. He totally agreed that self ID has got out of control and he'd never heard of AGP before but thought it made a lot of sense with a couple of trans women we know of. It was good to talk about it because a lot of our views are willingly misunderstood, and we're immediately shouted down as TERFs when that has never been the case.
A close friend of mine is a trans man and I feel like I'm constantly walking on eggshells around him - he's not the issue, it's men infiltrating women's spaces because they get a kick out of it that is the issue. We want to protect women's rights because women before us have fought hard for them. We're women, not "chest-feeders" or "cervix-owners".
