I bought blu tac a while back and it had rainbow colours plastered all over it. I noticed whilst browsing another shop more packets of blu tac with more! rainbow colours. You would have to look closely to see what the actual product is. Idgaf if your gay or trans just take my money without trying to brainwash me. Too much to ask?

The only people who are attracted to rainbows are kids. Everyone else just wants to know about the product.
It achieves nothing for gay rights either as nobody will change their personal opinions based on a piece of packaging.

If I’m using any service provider, whether it be shops, utilities, tradesmen or buying products I really do not want to know their thoughts on politics, religion, gender ideology nor anything else. Same with people who put up, “Vote xxxx” posters in their windows at election time. I know what I think, posters, flags any other propaganda is at best irrelevant. In cases pushing gender ideology, it’s likely to put me off for good.

I hate it when businesses get involved with politics or virtue signalling. I don't care if they don't like Donald Trump or what they think about LGBTQ blah. It's not relevant to anyone buying their product and could alienate some customers. It's certainly a poor business model.
True equality is being available for everyone, not just customers who think the same as you.

And you know what if I see a trans flag, I take that as a message that women are unwelcome.

I did a bus tour in a local city a few years ago. Great fun. Last time I saw the buses I noticed they had trans flag stickers at the door. And I thought WTF. There's absolutely no need for flags or stickers of any description. FFS.

My 5yo daughter happened to look over my shoulder when I was scrolling instagram the other day and saw a photo of Leah Williamson and the first thing she said was ‘wow I like her rainbow!’ As she was wearing her captains rainbow armband.

I’m a big women’s football fan, I don’t really follow the US teams and I really hope the WSL don’t see an influx of men.

I also see Milli Hill has picked up on the Pregnant then Screwed issue.

I've noticed a few people quietly dropping the pronouns in their bios/sigs lately. Not my 6'2", bearded, heterosexual, baritone voiced father of three BIL with a jaw you could use to crack open a beer, but he talks rit all the time. He tried to bring trans rights up once in the family WhatsApp and there was a ringing silence for six hours. Someone then posted a cat meme and normal service resumed.

@jolly_parsley thanks for always sharing TWIW. I tend to sign up for newsletters and not get round to reading them, let them build up and try to plough through them in one go. It's so depressing having all the tit in one hit that I end up deleting loads.
You posting these means I can read in isolation and actually take it in.

Was out with some friends last night and discovered that other than one (who I noticed kept very quiet) they are all into drag and going to the shows etc. We didn't really get into it properly and I just said I wasn't a fan but I was really disappointed

When asked “whether an Equality Impact Assessment or risk assessment was undertaken before the decision” to allow Dr Upton to use the female changing room, the health board simply replied: “No.”

Of course there was no assessment. We must all bow immediately to the so brave so fearless men who insist on using women's changing rooms and toilets.

It's good to see all the publicity about this, but saddens me that Sandie Peggie had to go through so much and remains under threat in relation to her job. I keep thinking of the fact that she was suspended which is such a serious action to have been taken against her, by her employer. And all the worry and stress she has been put through simply to appease an extremely entitled and lying man.

Omg a young person in my family (under 20) has decided to change their name and use opposite sex pronouns. And that is apparently all they are changing. No hair change no clothes change nothing. For petes sake.

I don’t see them much at all but they will be at a family event later on. I’m going to have to just stay away and keep my kids away from weird questions. This is so bleeping dumb.

If they changed their name to something goth and wore all black I wouldn’t care but this really seems like dressing up.

There's a 'Women in Comedy' event happening here in my town. Of course they've included non-binary.
All I did was ask why women can't have something just for ourselves and was told I don't need to buy a ticket and I have 'biases.'

Boy, I laughed. It was a woman who told me this pearl of wisdom. I replied that she's letting us all down and she'll find out the hard way. I also said fool pandering handmaiden.

Silly woman, don't annoy me before I've had at least 2 cups of tea. I hope she enjoys hairy men in her spaces.

I had the misfortune to be on a sports team with a briefly-vaguely-famous TIM comedian. In person, I have to admit he could be funny, but his stand-up wasn't funny at all. It depended completely on over-sharing and mentioning traumatic things, just so people felt obligated to laugh occasionally for fear of causing offence.
