Thoughts? I'd love to know what actually happened. I'm pretty sure that even in the states a worker of 7 years couldn't be "sacked" for being accused of being trans. Much more to this than Pink News is letting on. It says at the end that Walmart have offered her a return to work. I wonder if there's a crowdfunder attached to this somewhere...🤔

Weirdly, I know an usual number of tall women I can think of four who are over six foot (and I don't have a massive social circle - because I'm not a fan of people). No one would ever look at them and think they were male regardless of how they were dressed, how their hair was cut or whether they were wearing makeup.
That story makes no sense at all. The Pink News are just trying to stir the pot here and pile on the belief that everyone is anti trans which seems to have worked well if you read the comments 🙄

Yeah, it's all very odd, but Peen News never allows facts to get in the way of a good story

Thoughts? Mine are if there wasn’t this permitted attitude for self id tall women wouldn’t be suspect. Also why was the guy going into the bathroom himself. All very odd

Hang on. A woman is fired for being 'trans' and yet a transwoman man would have the red carpet rolled out and anyone criticising him would be fired. Jesus bleeping CHRIST.

And which toilet was this man is? Sounds like horseshit to me.

Wonderful charity Pregnant then Screwed have announced their new CEO. Rachel Grocott was CEO of Bloody Good Period which erases women and talks about “people who bleed”. PTS uses the word “mother” in almost every post, can’t wait for that to change to “parent” 😒

Yup. Looking to raise $15k to help her on the 'next stage of her life journey'. Whatever that means.

I do not believe that they fired an employee for this. A man followed her into the women's toilet and accused her of not being a woman, do me a favour! Even if that happened then the store should have been on the side of their staff not some random man wandering into the women's loos.

There's definitely something else going on here if she was fired, perhaps the store wanted to get rid of her anyway or maybe its just a scam to get money out of the general public 🤔

It's sort of ironic that there's nobody trans in this story but men can enter the women's toilets to challenge women now and that's OK. I wonder why?

Darlington Nurses update
North East nurses take NHS trust to Newcastle tribunal over trans colleague's changing rooms use - Chronicle Live

Eight nurses are taking action against County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust after a colleague, who was born male but now identifies as a woman, was allowed to use the women’s changing facilities at Darlington Memorial Hospital. They have filed the claim on the grounds of sexual harassment, discrimination, victimisation and breaches of the right to a private life, under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Seven of the nurses were at a preliminary hearing at Newcastle Tribunal Centre where a judge discussed an application by the trust to delay the hearing from its current trial date of June 16. The trust has claimed that a postponement is necessary to allow more time for an internal investigation to be completed.

Ahead of the hearing, nurse Bethany Hutchison said outside court: “We are nurses who love our jobs and our patients and only want to be afforded the dignity of getting dressed and undressed for work without a man present. I would like to remind everyone that we are doing this for the safety and dignity of every woman and girl across society and that we will continue to fight these unlawful policies.

“Thank you again to our many supporters. We see you and hear you and are delighted to stand with you.” The nurses are being supported by the Christian Legal Centre.

Tribunal Judge Stuart Robinson said: “These are important proceedings. The issues are complex.”

The trust claimed a postponement was necessary to allow more time for an internal investigation to be completed. Judge Robinson said the hearings will take four weeks, not the original estimate of three, given around 30 witnesses are expected to give evidence. He scheduled the case to be heard from October 20.

Internal investigation still to be completed? Hmmm. Perhaps the NHS Trust are delaying to see the outcome of the Sandie Peggie case....

“Neo aristocrats” is perfect way of describing these privileged indulged dahhhhlings.

Want to be a feminist- fight for properly funded maternity pay, maternity care, carers support, SEXual violence support services, disabled access on public transport, better changing and feeding facilities in shopping centres….

Have just joined the gym and I’m so happy to see this:

There are two separate rooms next to each other, one male, one female with one loo and sink. Technically it would be ‘safe’ having a man in there if no one else was in it but I’m so glad they ensure it’s free for women only.

It prevents the toilet from becoming a land grab. If men are allowed in women's toilets because they're women, then they can be allowed anywhere else that's for women too.

Not just demure - she's small and of slight build. About the same height as me according to t'Interweb, which is 5'3". She took tiny steps, like a foot-bound Chinese lady of the19th century - men stride (or occasionally mince - either way it is a different gait altogether just because of the body proportions and angle of the hips)

There are very few men that height, and even those who are tend to be more heavily built than women. There is nothing remotely threatening about Hayley. Mr Mice is 5'5" and was a bit of a pocket Hercules in his prime (like me he has become rounder over the years . . . 😂 ). There is no way in hell that his silhouette would have ever been confused with a female one.
"Pocket Hercules" is a new one. I've known a few dinky devils in my time though!

Unfortunately this won’t deter the ‘trans women are women’ people..
