The recent Tory gender stuff was probably discussed in the last thread but I really struggle to keep up sorry! Just wanted to share this tweet that really infuriated me!

It's not just about where people piss is it!? Reducing it to that to make those of us who want to protect our spaces (and not just in toilets!) is so manipulative. And also, it is possibe to care about all those issues as well as where people piss protecting women and girls at the same time.
Even if it was only about toilets... So bloody what?! I don't want a man in the cubicle next to me. I don't want a man in there if my daughter wants to go in on her own. I don't want a fucking man in the women's toilets, so men, kindly fuck off.

Well, here we are. ‘men’ can give birth. I really don’t get if they identify as a man (and God forbid if we use the wrong pronoun) that they want to go through pregnancy and giving birth but still class themselves as male.

I'm not watching the video - I can't. No thought for that innocent baby - how has his/her development been affected by the industrial strength testosterone that woman has been taking?

These are babies! They aren't medical experiments, they aren't toys, they are tiny, vulnerable human beings whose lives and health are possibly being destroyed by this would cult. If that woman had someked during pregnancy, or drank alcohol, the world would have condemned her, but call herself trans and she can risk doing any amount of damage to her baby and she is "stunning and brave".

And if you "feel like a man", what prompts you to do the thing that ONLY women are able to do - give birth? Not all women do - but ONLY women can,

"Mr Williams said he thinks participating in the election is vital "particularly for trans people and gender non-conforming people to protect our own lives".

"For many people, a vote is just seeing what the future will hold, but for trans people, this is a case of what rights we will still have," he said.
"
(Mr Williams = a TIF)

Me me me me me me me....only Trans people have worries and fears....me me me me me. 😭
Women, meanwhile, are having a grand old time watching the rights we've had for five minutes in the grand scheme of things be snatched back by men in frocks.

Sometimes my morbid curiosity gets the better of me and I check up on our old friend Gabbie Richards (the one who got a thrill posting himself in the dull women’s club). I’ve screenshotted just some of the oddbods who have reacted to his posts (they’re all public profiles so I haven’t cropped the names out). TW- don’t look if you’re easily offended or have recently eaten.

It’s like a directory of AGPs. I even found our favourite Green Party member and Proud Lesbian Melissa Poulton amongst the melange!
For a palate cleanser, these also reacted 😅

Most of these look like they belong to the 50-70 age group...what is happening to men in later life that makes them don a wig and a cardigan? Is it because they don't feel sexy as men anymore, or don't appeal to women anymore? Does it give them a thrill to have a new lease of life at that age? My Dad had an affair last year and put it down to 'carpe diem' and he's in that age category. Are these AGP's 'carpe diem'ing? Is it for attention? Do they perhaps feel invisible or something, or, have they finally reached a time when society is cheering this shit on so they are loud and proud about it now?

I know we have teen boys and 20something men LARPing as women but when it comes to these 50-70 something aged men, why do they suddenly upturn their lives to dress like a pantomime dame? Have they always secretly wanted to, or has something changed in their life by that point?

Fascinating and terrifying in equal measure. No doubt some of these men have watched decades of porn by that point but it does seem to be a trend with that age group particularly, that I think the notion of doing something different (carpe diem) where they get praise for it is a motivating factor.

No offence but a lot of these blokes' profile pictures show them to be men who have let themselves go, appearance wise, but somehow donning a wig and dressing like their great aunt makes them feel special.

Anyway, none of them pass, they all look like they stink of BO and desperation and I don't want any of them in the female toilets than you very much.

I just posted this on the M&S thread, I’m not sure what reception I’ll get there but I really has annoyed me! I’m not homophobic in the least but even by gay BFF thinks this is all getting too much. The cynic in me thinks it’s all PR doubling down but when M&S are kind of asking you to change your chosen charity on the app then I start to feel there is definitely an agenda going on.

“I’m not too keen on being coerced into changing my chosen charity to Pride as M&S are doubling donations to them. Why is pride so extra special that they get double donations? I’ve not seen M&S do this for other charities. I’ll stick to Macmillan thanks.”
I’m generally against most awareness days/weeks/months and mostly because of the inequality with which people and organisations engage with them. Like you say, when do any of these organisations do this for any other charity or vulnerable group? It’s meant to be disability pride next month, can we expect the same level of support for that as we do for LGBT pride in June? It’s not just a trans issue for me but a virtue signalling one.

It’s carers week this week - how many M&S staff also have carer responsibilities and what are M&S doing to support them?

Is it men’s mental health week too? Or was that last week? I’m not sure because most of these organisations have completely ignored it.

There are so many awareness campaigns it’s literally impossible to support them all so why do they all go for LGBT? If supermarkets supported something relating to fair trade or British farmers I could get on board. Or M&S supported something relating to fair trade of cotton / clothing manufactures etc. maybe they do but they certainly aren’t shoving it down our throats for an entire month.
They may argue being LGBT affects their staff and customers - but so does disability/caring/race/mental health etc.

Sadiq Khan is a misogynist. He doesn’t just not care about women, he actively enjoys talking down to them (as seen in his London mayor meetings) and degrading them (this campaign). London has degenerated under his leadership. Women are less safe.

I said a couple of threads ago that these are the blokes who up until a few years ago were secretly dressing in their wives’ frillies and sneaking off to have a crafty wank in the bathroom while she was out shopping or some such. Due to the mouthing off of the TWAW brigade and the fawning of the ‘Be Kind’ handmaidens, they are now emboldened to be out and proud so have ramped it up a notch and are declaring themselves trans. The vast majority of them are sick perverts.

I hate so much about “be kind”. It’s basically shut up and put your own concerns and discomforts second, even if your feelings are perfectly valid. Are men ever told to “be kind?” In fact, it’s sinister. Back in the day children were warned to look out for predators and weird men that made them uncomfortable. Now we are telling children to ignore their instincts and to be bloody kind, even if they are sensing danger. It’s so dangerous and so wrong.

I wonder if he was nice to you until you questioned him. Protective of you (perhaps possessive in a way) until you held a mirror up to him and he flipped. Almost like he felt you rejected him which seems to be a male fear. How terrifying though for someone you knew 20 years to suddenly change dramatically. My mind is blown right now.
BIB - Exactly this.
After that first email from him that made clear he wasn't going to be ignored (hello Alex Forrest) he went full psycho within 24 hours. We exchanged messages for a few weeks; me telling him - politely - to start with to leave me alone and him being abusive and persistent. After that I just completely ignored him and he carried on for two and a half years.

I think by completely blanking him it sent him doolally and triggered some massive rejection response because he got dumped for 10 years in a shitty care home as a little kid by his mother. That's my retrospective armchair psychologist take on it anyway.

I cannot overstate that this was the most placid person I knew. The person who stopped fights in pubs, acted as mediator in disputes within friendship groups, incredibly popular gentle soul. We even shared houses over the years, he was close as family to me, always platonic.

Sorry to everyone for these long posts, I'll not derail the thread any further. Although it's been surprisingly cathartic to write it all down. Thank you for the reactions. You bunch of legends.

She’s even quoted somewhere I believe as saying she often gets offered women’s roles and thinks she is good at them. I mean what can you even say.
Have I got this right: a woman is offered acting roles in which she must pretend to be a different woman, and she thinks it’s comment-worthy that she’s ‘quite good’ at convincing people that she is a woman?

The world gets dumber by the minute. 🙄

I was just told a story by someone I know who agrees with my views on this. This person works for an insurer in customer service and had a TIM call up today, the conversation (names changed obv):

My friend: Thank you for calling XXX, you're speaking with Traazer's Friend, how can I help today?
TIM: (Clear male voice) Hello, I have some queries about my travel insurance policy
MF (Automatically): Of course sir I'd be happy to assist
TIM: It's madam
MF: Oh OK my apologies, I'll just need to confirm the details I have for you, can you confirm your first name for me
TIM: Timelda Jones
MF: (panicking as the screen said Timothy Jones) OK, can I confirm your date of birth please as I have some conflicting information?
TIM:This is bloody ridiculous you should have this information already, it's changed
*blah blah blah they get to the purpose of the call*
TIM: "So my question is, I'm intending on going to Turkey for gender reassignment surgery, does my travel insurance cover me for this?

My friend then had to explain that obviously fucking not, your policy is voided as soon as you step foot in another country for the purpose of discussing anything surgery related. This went as well as you can expect.

My friend (whilst nothing but professional) didn't refer to this person by Madam once during the call which pleases me greatly. The idiot still demanded to be put through to complaints though
I was about to ask what sort of fuckwit thinks travel insurance covers you for surgery, but if you believe you cna change sex then literally anything is possible I guess.

Ugh. Our small town is holding its first ever pride event next weekend. We're nestled between several larger towns that all run pride events and our nearest city is only a 30 minutes drive away - but apparently we need our own as people don't feel safe in our sleepy town and this event will help that.

I don't want to downplay the prejudice that LGB groups still face, of course, and if it was an LGB event I'd probably go and show support. But my spidey senses were tingling and I set off to investigate the group that was organising it.

Surprise surprise it's a local group run by a TIF. And on the Facebook Page a TIM has posted saying he'd like to attend. In his profile picture he has AGP vibes, a very badly fitted wig and nothing remotely female about him.

The Facebook Page posts mostly about trans, with almost nothing about LGB. The following examples are shared from other groups.

View attachment 3000697

But what I find sinister is the message "if your family doesn't support you, you are part of my family now".

View attachment 3000698

The group runs local meetings, and in the list of people it's aimed at is included "if you have no family support".

So move over LGB, the T is taking over everywhere.
Are they going to clean my kids puke at 3 am when they have a stomach bug, console them when they fail an exam, spend years of their life driving them to friends/ parties/ school? Are they going to watch them while they sleep and wonder how they got to be so wonderful and how lucky they are a to be a mum or dad? That's a family. That's what I do. The idea that some twat behind a keyboard can blithely offer to be a confused child's family makes my blood boil.

That's made me really angry, thank goodness they have no chance of being elected.
The one that annoys me the most is that you won't be able to divorce your partner if he's become 'a lady' 😡
Fuck right off
By their own logic - the husband/man is now a ‘lesbian’ but the wife/woman is not same sex attracted. Why would they want a heterosexual woman to be forced to stay with a ‘lesbian woman’.

We all know the answer of course and it’s nothing to do with trans women are women. It’s to do with men wanting to continue to control and abuse actual women.
