They didn’t answer your question because they couldn’t. You stated a fact. They just regurgitated the usual bigot/transphobe response to shut you down. I bet many other people actually agreed with you. But too scared of the backlash to speak up.

the “emotional labour to educate you” 😆
Thank you! It means so much to have someone who understands where I'm coming from!
Haha I know, I was like wtf?! I could have argued for days but that's what they would have wanted - to make me look like the crazy one

Question for the group: do you think the tide is turning? I was hopeful after CASS was released and maybe it is happening but it feels like it’s at a glacial pace. Maybe I’m just tired but I wish it was happening faster. I guess because of all the power players being so invested in making gender ideology work that they’re fighting so hard to avoid change. Honestly, I am longing for the days where we look back at this and shake our heads in disbelief.

I’m sure they throw out insults and name calling because there is no logical argument that they can make. There is no logic behind gender ideology and when anyone challenges it, they come out “educate yourself” and name calling because it’s all they can do. They bully people into silence rather than debate because

Very slowly, yes. I’ve heard people speak out IRL since the Hate Crime bill was launched here in Scotland too. People have said to me, ridiculous, a waste of police time, and often as not then add, a comment about “all this trans nonsense”. I don’t think most people do believe it, and if something keeps getting pushed down your throat, people get sick of it

Transphobia is a nonsense term that invested groups and people have endeavoured to have treated like homophobia and racism. However, those are actions and prejudices against who a person is, where as ‘transphobia’ is objection to the fiction a person is trying to have everyone else agree with. It has no power over me, I don’t care if you call me that.

I will not participate in their delusion. They have no right to make me believe in their cult.

Gender dysphoria is a mental illness. I have sympathy and compassion for those suffering but they need therapy and to accept the body they have, like everyone else, and if they must alter it, pay for that themselves, like nose jobs and BBLs.

The GRA became redundant when same sex marriage was legalised and should have been repealed.

The trans agenda is being pushed by wealthy AGP perv billionaires like Pritzker who has never been told no and the pharma companies who see the money selling in lifetime hormone treatments. The donations have completely converted the greens, the Lib Dem’s and labour.

The conservatives have let this happen because they didn’t see women as their voters anyway. Belatedly Kemi Badenoch has taken up the fight and she has brought the most attention to it in parliament. I’m politically homeless, I don’t trust Starmer at all on this subject and I’m wary they will still try to go for self ID.

Exactly. You're not Christophobic if you don't believe in God or Islamophobic if you're not a Muslim. You just have a different belief system. We don't hate trans people. We just don't believe what they believe.

It’s strange when society in the UK is less religious and more secular, that people are so forceful about this ideology. I’m an atheist and I’ve never been abused, bullied or called names for not being religious and nor would I expect to be. I’d also describe myself as a “gender atheist” as I not only think gender ideology is ridiculous, non scientific, misogynistic dangerous nonsense, but I also loathe the concept of outdated gender stereotypes and honestly think we should have moved on past them long before now. It’s going backwards!
In fact, I hate the word, “Gender” now. Filling in forms, being asked for “Gender”, I’m imagining men claiming to be women, and that’s OK, because that’s how they self identify FFS. Biological sex is all that exists and all that matters. Anything else is reinforcing negative stereotypes and delusions

I found this 2015 article on Emily Brothers. He sounds exactly like the entitled, angry, narcissistic man all TIMs are. His poor children were only 12 and 10 when they were told their dad was a woman and he left the London home and moved to the IOW. Poor kids.

He also thinks he passes because nobody says anything to him.

I'm a decent person* and have never once tried to have an argument on said group

I'm sorry you lost a place you felt at home, it's not fair to have kicked you out, but they couldn't allow you to bring your good sense and logic to the debate. You've got a new group here, talk to us instead about those things ❤

I went to edit my post but think its too late now so can only quote.

Anyway, my post was quite light hearted but I was actually quite upset as I've been part of the group for 4 years and found it quite useful to be part and also enjoyed it!

I messged the admin afterwards and asked to confirm if the reason I had been banned was because I did not like the term cis.

They messaged back saying [attached]

What i don't understand is, they did not answer my question on what exactly did I say that was transphobic? I literally said I did not like the term cis!

And when they say people commented 'emotional' comments. I don't recall it. But also if they did, why is their opinion more valid than mine?? Why wouldn't they let me have a debate? I'm a decent person* and have never once tried to have an argument on said group

*cis-woman 🤪
What a condescending twit! How can they have the nerve to suggested that you've been 'educated'?!

You are better off without the brain washed moronic rainbow sheep in your life.
You could always start a rival group but Facebook is captured by ideological arseholes.

I hate Facebook so much that I was thinking of starting a campaign on there by being deliberately offensive to see how long it takes to be permanently banned from the whole site 😁
I just don't know if I can be bothered at the moment 😃

Remember these are the people you're up against 😅

Only they are allowed to decide what language everyone uses. If you disagree, even if it’s just about the language you use to describe yourself, you’re transphobic.

Only they are allowed to access all spaces and complete inclusion. If you disagree, you’re transphobic.

They not only demand all access to our spaces and language, but also want special celebration, and fast track access to specialist services and healthcare on demand.

None of the ideology stands up to any scrutiny because it is clearly dictatorial. Hence no debate.

I’m sorry about the group @Tobodee - I think we’ve all been excluded from spaces and friendship groups for saying no. It hurts.

Our local Labour candidates have been announced. We have in the running…Emily Brothers a blind transgender lesbian. They have tried and failed in other areas but they won’t give up! Our council is known as a circus so it will be interesting to see how many votes this clown gets.

*She is a blind transgender lesbian who, according to Wikipedia, had sex reassignment surgery in Thailand in 2008. She campaigns on LGBT+ and disability issues. She stood for parliament in 2019 for Sutton and Cheam in London and has tried unsuccessfully to be selected for other seats including Liverpool West Derby and most recently, Chester for the by-election which took place in December 2022. She is divorced with two children.

Grim. I have no one to vote for.

Brothers likes to travel..."has tried unsuccessfully to be selected for other seats including Liverpool West Derby and most recently, Chester..."
A case of if you don't succeed, try and try again. The electorate are making their opinions known regarding Labour's choice of candidate!

I've left a few FB groups because of this. I got removed from a local group when they promoted a "Women's walking group", but declared that "all" women were welcome, including "non-binary women" (??). I couldn't help myself, and left a comment along the lines of "Surely if you're non-binary, you don't identify as a woman, so why would you want to join a women's walking group?" I got booted out of there before I could blink!
I've also been a member of what started as a very small group, which was originally comprised of a few of us (less than 50) who had posted some funny photos of everyday items "gone wrong" (it's hard to describe without outing myself!). It grew quite quickly by word of mouth, several of my friends and family joined. Of course, it then got taken over by the virtue-signalling SJW's, who had to make a comment about "Tory scum", "Brexit gammons", etc etc, on every post. Someone recently made a very innocuous comment about drag queens being "adult entertainment", and she received a full pile-on from the handmaidens. I don't know if she left, or was kicked out, but there was a very self-rightous comment from one of the admins, saying that "we don't tolerate terfs and bigots here" 🙄. I left that day.

I’m an animal lover and in the past reported animal cruelty on FB, but apparently it doesn’t breach community standard, yet heaven forbid you state biological facts about men not being women.

Gosh this gave me the spooks. I went to university about 15 years ago and due to my disability had to see a disability liaison officer, who was a blind man. After coming back in second year, he was now apparently a woman with the AGP wig and tights and everything. I remember feeling distinctly uncomfortable (I hadn't yet peaked) having to discuss my personal health issues with someone so performative, there was something about how he couldn't see what he was making everyone else see that just creeped me out massively.

When you posted this I was certain it was him, they look so similar, but nope, turns out there's at least two blind troons haunting the UK.

That's the Emily I remember 'me, me, me'. At the time I was a part of a breastfeeding support group and that's all he wanted to talk about. Some if the other BF group members were also a part of the Labour party and the two circles overlapped. Whenever the group members would mention something about babies or motherhood Emily would immediately centre himself in the discussion, and I mean centre himself. If the handmaiden didn't sit round him and let him talk about 'being a mother' then he'd cry and everyone would gather round him. It was creepy.
Also, he was just tit as a candidate. If anyone stood up to him in debates or whilst canvassing he would walk away because he couldn't handle it. He didn't stand a hope in hell of winning anyway, not in that area. This is one of the reasons I think the party put him forward. They could tick the inclusivity box without any danger of having a tit MP sitting in Parliament.
