Exactly - that case was a man who, encouraged by his male partner, killed an innocent man.
I only recently found out that his partner was also a TIM, the case has got nothing to do with women.

How weird I just read of the Pankhurst Museum yesterday I'd never heard of it before.
It was in A History of Britain in 21 Women by Jenni Murray that I picked up in the charity shop (can recommend)
TIMs: There is no objective definition of "woman", it's a cultural construct, if you're a les/Black/disabled/infertile etc. historically you wouldn't have been considered a woman, so you don't get to tell me I'm not!

I’m totally fed up with it. We’re being force fed propaganda, there’s no other way I can describe it. The whole notion that a woman is “Anyone who says they’re a woman“ is stupid, denying reality, insulting and frankly dangerous. I find it very difficult to get my head round anyone falling for it, it’s so ridiculous. Frankly, organisations like the NHS going along with it is a disgrace. If healthcare professionals don’t get basic biology, they aren’t fit to practice IMO ( I’m not a doctor but a very big overlap in training which is partly why I never have and never will go along with this). The mainstream media are a disgrace too, trying to push the lies that men are women on us too.

So I am fairly liberal. I fully believe some people are genuinely trans. They have known all their lives and it's constant and not a sudden development. Cool. No problem with that. Within this I also support the fact that you can change gender but it is physically impossible to change your chromosomes and therefore sex. It is not either or. You can fully support the trans community AND acknowledge scientific fact.
Something that is concerning me though is the number of people who identify as Trans in the neurodiverse community is astronomically higher than in the neurotypical community. This isn't disputed and indeed in my own professional life this is abundantly clear. I feel we need to be asking why this is before we blindly accept it and I'm concerned that we aren't. Is it something neurological? Is it do with how someone with ASC interprets themselves? Don't we need to think about this?!?

I want someone to write a PHD dissertation on why we never hear from TransMEN.
This is my whole thing about it - there are people out there who genuinely are trans. But I'm sure its a much much smaller number than the hoards that have come out of the woodwork in the last 5 years or so. And the Trans conversation is always centered around women and women's issues. Men get to be woke silent allies bc there's not a single thing from them that's at stake.
You never see a Just for Men ad with Elliot Page on the cover or him in a Calvin Klein ad? Why is that?? Hmm? Why do we have Transwomen selling us sports bras and lingerie?
GPs aren't offering services to "persons with prostates" but are to "persons with a cervix".
Also, I think the trans movement reinforces gender stereotypes rather than break them down.
I think I'd feel differently about things if being a woman wasn't under attack and the same questions were being posed to men. I have no problem with Trans people (adults) and support them doing whatever makes them happy. But you can't deny physical and physiological differences between the sexes. That just doesn't go away because you decide it does.
In sum: Male privilege never dies.
