Is he a necrophile or something
Who can tell. Sure seems to have an obsessive interest in people’s demise 🤷🏻‍♀️

One of my pet hates on Tattle is posters going to another thread to have a whinge about a thread (it is usually this thread!)
If you have something to say then act like a grown up and post on here rather than behind our backs 👍
I agree. Probably should have called him out on the thread but no doubt I’d get done for moderating or sometbing

I suggested to someone who replied that they should come over here and take a look for themselves. This was before I realised it had been picked up here.

I regularly stalk the transgenderUK subreddit just to see what nonsense they come out with and someone posted complaining about their “E and T levels” asking if they were normal for their dose, and someone replied saying they should immediately double their dose!!!! Why are the Mods not stepping in when unqualified people are giving terrible and dangerous medical advice on the internet? I enjoy reading Reddit but it’s such a cesspit of TRA

I called another poster out for saying this thread is becoming homophobic on his own 'pet' thread as he objected to a couple of words in a long post on this thread. Cue lots of pedantic splitting of hairs, fudging and back-pedalling followed by mods deleting posts.

I don't give a tit, I'd do it again - I think it is cowardly, if you have something to say then speak up on the original thread and give others the opportunity to respond!

No no, you’re right. I should have called him out.

ETA: I think I’ve just got very fed up on here of pile ons I’ve had on other threads. I’ve had it happen a few times so my default setting is probably not to antagonise. Probably wrong of me but here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️

"Female Olympians would never win a gold medal again if they had to compete against transgender athletes, World Athletics president Seb Coe has said.
Lord Coe suggested in a new interview the gap is so large that females competing at the Olympics wouldn't stand a chance against trans women.
The president of the sports governing body - who last year announced a ban on trans women from female competitions - says the matter is 'very clear cut'.
Speaking on the Up Front podcast, Lord Coe, 67, said: 'The decision (to ban transgender athletes) ultimately was based on one very simple proposition - I am elected to protect the female category and if I don't do that no woman will ever win another (medal) again.' "
It has been reported that Seb Coe, while supporting the Olympic stance on transwomen, has not speoken out to support the removal of transwomen/girls at grassroots level - where it all begins, and will end if young girls/women continue to feel threatened or excluded.

A thread set up to predict DEATHS of celebrities and pronouns is what they take offence at hahahaha you can’t make this tit up
I think it more revolved around language and attitude, tbh. The Death Thread wasn't the place for a discussion on gender/sex. Which is why people were told to chat here about it. Makes sense to me.

This thread has a lot of great points and important discussions taking place.
However, again, I think language and attitiudes can upset/put people off.

Not intending to offend anyone here or get into a debate; just saying I think that's why some people took umbrage with what was being said.
That's all.

It's an important discussion and, as mentioned, there is a lot of interesting things being talked about here.
So I'm glad the thread exists.

It's Tattle; people will always argue and disagree.

Hope that makes vague sense!

Doesn’t like women having opinions, does he?
Are we back to people calling me a misogynist because I disagree with them? Ok then.
I'm not going to argue with you. Believe what you like. 👍🏻

Excuse me if I don't take criticism from someone who runs the celebrity death thread and takes the piss out of mentally ill women (calling Britney Spears "nuts" on her thread) 😂
Britney is clearly nuts. As is Robbie Williams.
If you can't take criticism, that says more about you than me.
As I've said, this thread has a lot of great discussions and raises good points. I think it can be the language and attitudes of people in their comments that causes friction.
That's all 👍🏻

View attachment 2667988Running a thread predicting deaths is fine but HOW DARE WE CRITICISE AGPs 🤣🙃 I can’t with him
Yeah, that's why I've not bothered with that thread in months.
He's just a big misogynist.

I was very clear on the thread that I use sex based pronouns, I still got tit for misgendering Sam Smith and Ellen Page, and told to come here, so I did, and what a great thread it is.
Lots of v interesting, intelligent and funny supportive women.

Apologies for the long comment:

You should have came back; you had a good list for 2023! As did Phil I Buster, actually.

You're wrong about the misogyny thing (mostly because I have no idea of who is male/female/non-binary) from just their user name.
You're right, however, in that perhaps I came across too strongly.
My concern was (1) derailing the Death thread with a discussion on gender and (2) some of the apparent attitudes in comments.
However, I'll admit that I'm very guilty of being in a bad place IRL and ranting on here so no doubt took it out on the wrong people in the wrong way.

It does irritate me when someone refers to, say, Elliot Page as 'she' BUT it really shouldn't matter that much to me in the context of a random chat on Tattle. I'll never meet these celebs and it is of little importance to me what you think or how you wish to refer to them.
So, I apologise. You all do you, and I'll do me. Not in a weird way! 🙈

As I've said elsewhere, there are lots of good discussions here and important points raised.
Men identifying as women and taking part in sports, for example, raises many concerns for me.

@HIn regards to me saying 'atttidues' in comments, I realise that it is hypocritical of me to complain of someone insults, say, Sam Smith for their (or, if you prefer, his) dreadful fashion choices when I then go and call Britney 'nuts'.
I think that is fair of you to say so again I apologise for that.

i just want to be nice and friendly; Tattle, for me, shouldn't be somewhere to argue but instead somewhere to rant about annoying celebrities or to wonder who will die this year.

I'll do better and either have either a reasonable discussion if I disagree with something or I'll just not join in the conversation.

Hope this all makes sense!
You're all welcome to take part in the Death Pool thread when we have Bonus Rounds this year, should you want to.

Oh, and for the record, I think men are bleeping ridiculous.

Toodles!

You weren't "nice and friendly", about me defending myself were you though Sir Lancelot, you were in fact quite rude, and told me to come over here, which I duly did.
Oh, BTW, I have a great list for this year, Tattle is not the only place to have such a thread.

I must also add, that having "concerns", about Transwomen in sports, makes you a TERF.
Either Transwomen are women, or they aren't.
You clearly don't think they are.
Oops.

You say that this thread has a lot of great points and that the discussions taking place are important, so you must recognise the impact this ideology is having on women, same sex attracted people and children. You’re a guy, right? What I’ve found is that a lot of men go along with the whole gender ideology and pronouns thing because, well, let’s be honest, it won’t really affect you too much. And also there’s a view that not to go along with it is to stand in the way of progress or is somehow bigoted or ‘right wing’.

There are a plethora of political persuasions on here, and speaking for myself, I am (historically) left of Labour. But having spent more than 10 years watching women increasingly losing their safe spaces, being told that not accepting any bloke that says he’s a woman in a women’s changing room makes me a bigot and seeing books designed for pre-schoolers depict women with mastectomy scars as men, I can’t go along with this lie that people can change sex. And using made up or incorrect (biologically) pronouns would make me complicit in that lie, so I won’t do it. And also, I don’t agree with compelled speech. This is a really good article on pronouns which sets out the position of a lot of people concerned by gender ideology. I don’t know whether you’ve ever come across it?

People are born to perceive differences in the sexes for a reason; to try and coerce someone into believing (or saying they believe) something other that what they see is gaslighting. I don’t care what people wear; anyone can be as butch or as femme as they like, but it doesn’t make them the opposite sex.

You sound like you appreciate some of the points made on this thread, so why not stick around for a bit and have a discussion?

Britney is only “nuts” as she was coerced and controlled by the patriarchal and misogynistic music/entertainment industry from the time she could speak, drugged by her dad and others for over a decade in her adult life, exploited by her mother and sister and basically any person she ever trusted
