This should be a blank webpage. It’s a bit like an “Action Plan” for goths, BTS fans or people who meditate. It has no relevance to anything and needs no policies whatsoever that a bunch of tedious self-obsessed people want to think they’re special in the latest way. Absolutely embarrassing, student politics levels.
Haha! Reminds of a guy I met a few years ago, he was dating one of my (gay) friends and within 5 minutes told me he was demisexual. He got crappy when I told him that it doesn't need a label, much like my preference for men with beards or whatever.
Off to form an Action Plan plan for Goths, haha

What a weird overshare.... and I struggle to understand how being a "demisexual" is any different from what everyone feels. Some attractions are growers. 🤷🏼‍♀️ All this labelling is doing is showing up people who want to be "special" for no specific reason.

Well frankly I'm the special one because I'm a woman that only fancies men. Where's my badge? Where's my HR inclusive pack?😂

Why does this need to be in the workplace though? We have a policy on work relationships that basically states keep it out of the office and keep it professional, so why are people now proclaiming their preferences and proclivities and fetishes to all and sundry? It is profoundly uninteresting. I’d rather someone tell me they were a warhammer enthusiast, or really into crochet, or baseball because I can have a conversation them and ask them questions that aren’t going to get inappropriate from the get go.

Them - I’m Elf and I’m pansexual

Me - *has no clue what to say to that* um ok, is that noisy?

The shift from having hobbies and talents and interests to making identity traits (real or imagined) the basis of an entire personality is not good.

Another thing that’s annoyed me is they have appropriated tattoos, piercings and dressing like a goth as NB. Leave the
Goths alone. (They prefer that)

Hmmmmm

What pronouns will he use? Skull/skull self
I read that article and then another one on the same page about Adam Curlykale who is busy tattooing his entire body black and also had surgery in Mexico to remove his nipples and his genitals. And we are told this is not a mental illness???

Totally agree with this. I got to work to put in data, not know who likes what genitals! And that stands for everyone, straight or otherwise! I’ve said this exact thing, how weird it is that you have all these policies but this nonsense is able to just proliferate!!!

<24,000 people in the whole of Scotland are transgender. For context, they would not even fill HALF of our seats at the national football stadium at Hampden. Why on earth do we need an “action plan” for the population that will be even less than this amount. I dread to think how much civil service time has been wasted on this petulant nonsense. NB people just need to get bleeping counselling you’re either male or female. That’s it. Dress how you want, nobody gives a duck. Bizarre
You say that but why is it I’m seeing them bloody EVERYWHERE lately. Been in Edinburgh and Glasgow city centres a fair bit lately and spotted loads. They are emboldened now, probably a lot of them would have been transvestites in the past and kept the dressing up for behind closed doors. Now they’re at the next table at Costa, in front of you in the bus queue, serving you in a restaurant (clocked straight away, stunning looking but very obviously not female), just walking down the street. I’m not sure these figures are accurate, I think there’s a lot more of them than we know.

*that’s not including the under 25 females with short hair and quirky glasses who scream non binary. Plenty of them too.

Me and the old dear went to see Kevin Bridges in the cinema last night.

He was making a joke that glasgow is a very woke city.

Cos "that c***" is a gender neutral term

Demisexual as a concept makes sense when you realise it was literally invented on Tumblr as a reaction to what girls were expected to do sexually. Sex positivity, hook up culture, porn, degrading sex acts etc.

When THAT is what popular culture is selling to you, as a teen, suddenly the idea of repackaging normal behaviour (normal as in not wanting to duck someone as soon as you meet them; wanting to build some sort of romantic connection before having sex) as a special marginalised identity makes sense. It’s literally a shield for any young person who doesn’t want to have casual sex. Who can blame them?

It does make sense, as you say for reasons that are quite sad to think about. Pure guess but I would say at least half the dating population (mostly, but not solely) women do not want to necessarily have sex very early on or without knowing someone relatively well, or if they do have a more casual hookup, they don’t really enjoy it. It’s not only within the normal spectrum of human behaviour, it is probably every other person out there.

That said, I do like the joke I saw on Tumbr when demisexuality started to be a “thing,” along the lines of:

“Imagine having to come out as demisexual, must be so tough… you have to say: ‘I need to have a level of intellectual connection and/or know someone quite well to be fully attracted to them and want to have sex… Mum, Dad… I’m so sorry, I just hope you still love me!’”

They really hate women saying no don't they, no to accessing our spaces, sports, health services and even our bodies. Always trying to argue that our feelings, boundaries and limits are "wrong" and we need to be educated. They can duck right off.

Gaslighting wankers.

Just saw this (I didn’t watch CIN last night). Just why? I know he has a gender non-conforming child, but the more Tennant and his wife affirm their support of trans ideology, the more difficult it will be for their son to say, “actually, I’m comfortable being a boy.”

Totally agree. He’s really young right, like around 10? duck these people. I hate it.

I think it’s his wife. She always comes across as very thirsty for attention despite her claim to fame is primarily being David Tennant’s wife.

I have a kid the same age as David Tennants. It’s mind boggling that parents go along with the non binary thing with kids this age. My son is quite into imaginative play and is very creative, over the years he’s gone through so many phases and things he’s obsessed with. He doesn’t even know what non binary is. Someone must be feeding this crap to kids, in the case of Tennant I’d say it’s both him and his wife. It’s trendy and gives them cool points. Absolutely pathetic.
