You know, trans activists are right. Being a woman is so much more than what's between your legs.

Being a woman is grown men gawking at you as a pre-teen because your body's beginning to change.

It's being unable to walk home by yourself late at night for fear of grape.

It's being told to smile and called a witch if you don't by aggressive men at bars whom you've never even spoken to.

It's being told you should expect to be sexually assaulted if you wear a certain length of skirt to the club.

It's being deemed a bleep because you've slept with a similar number of people as your male peers who get praise for it.

And so many other things my female friends and family have shared with me.

But the most important thing in this debate is not what a woman is but what she isn't. And she may very well be a lot of positive things I didn't mention here but she certainly isn't make-up, hair, dresses, skirts nor heels.

If only she was that depthless and devoid of hardship, you too could be a woman.

Exactly. And being talked down to and mansplained to every single bleepin day by every man, even those you love. Even my son who is 11 has started this on me. The assumption you know less simply because you are female.

They only want the aesthetic, they don’t want the rest. Just look at the car crash that is Himdia Willoughby. I’ve never seen such a clear example of a typical entitled man. Belittling women is now his full time job.

I just watched a video stating some of the things its illegal for women and girls to do in Afghanistan and I feel simultaneously broken for them and so angry all over again at all the piece of tit men sitting on the Internet and calling themselves oppressed because people don't think they should be in women's changing rooms.

We've all seen the posts from 'trans-allies' criticising Sunak's speech about men and women the other day. They are full of falsehoods, lies and mistruths but what really gets me are the comments from women throwing themselves under the bus for a bunch of men.

This is an issue that affects women and children negatively yet women are so quick to give support to the oppressors. You never see that happening with men do you? men seem to be conditioned to stand together but women often attack each other.

Bloody ridiculous. Why can’t they just ban conversion therapy for gay people? The people who this would hit hardest are young confused neurodiverse or gay teens uncomfortable with their emerging sexuality.

As if being female and homeless isn't dangerous enough, vulnerable women won't be allowed to feel safer inside a 'WOMEN-ONLY' night shelter.

There used to be a time when you’d meet someone with a septum piercing and know there were into some good music.

I've heard this a few times recently. I have a septum piercing (and I did have a little short, blunt Bettie Page fringe, although that seems to have gone from social justice warrior signifier to "terf bangs" - I can't keep up) and I am very much gender critical
