I agree, I don’t get as much of that pervy, fetishy AGP vibe but clearly something is going on with him. I don’t get a dysphoria sense from him either, certainly in that video he seems pretty confident. I feel like there’s a whole extra identity going on with trans people, like the AGPs, gay kids who haven’t fully accepted their sexuality, young girls wanting to ID out of our porn soaked world and… people like Sam Smith. I don’t know what category he falls into.

He could also just use it as a means to get people to like him more and give him attention/money since it's pretty trendy to be trans at the moment. A lot of famous people use to act a certain way to be more likable.

Lololol I saw a tiktok of someone fawning over Sam Smith recently accusing the media of body shaming him, and someone commented saying ‘they’re so kind, they don’t deserve this’! So I responded and said isn’t he the wick who abused a young female fan in the street with his friends just because she wanted to take a pic with him? And they responded with ‘*THEY! Don’t misgender them’ And I was like… do you actually hear yourself rn? This person gave abuse to a teenager and then stood by and allowed his mates to assault her, but you’re more worried about pronouns?!! Lmao
