I absolutely hate how clothes are marketed with slogans like "you can be stylish without compromising on femininity" and the way a lot of media, including children's, promotes the whole "you can be anything you want to be and still be feminine!" That's not inherently a bad concept in itself but the sum total of this message is women MUST be "feminine" or something's wrong. And I feel like a lot of trans activism ties into that as if perceived feminine attributes are what makes a woman, rather than biology

"rejecting us is actually genocide"
Suuuure...

Nothing to do with not wanting to have sex with a TiM - although funny how that's always their first suggestion. But if they think that a TiM with an intact pen being told to get out of the womens changing room is "indiscriminate genocide", well, I don't even know what to say 🤣

Yeah the whole trans movement is based on rigid gender stereotypes. Even the flag is pink and blue = female and male. It’s putting us even further into boxes. If someone analysed what I wear as a woman every day and how little I wear make up, a large proportion of the trans nut jobs online would say I’m borderline man. I can tell you right now that is bs. I’m ALL woman. Regardless of what I wear. It is those people with severe mental distress that are hung up on aesthetics. The rest of us are just living our lives and not putting labels on ourselves.

Happy to see this! I’m not cis. Just a woman thanks very much.

Sydney Watson has been banned from Pateron, I've enjoyed watching some of her videos on gender identity and think she speaks a lot of sense (I can't comment on her other videos, probably a lot I don't agree with being somewhat left leaning).

I don't think it's been mentioned on the threads about the critcism levelled at Bella Hadid's mother for allowing her to get a nose job at 14. People are saying she was just a child etc, I'm sure half these people would advocate for kids being given puberty blockers (which we don't know the long term effects of).

I've also been thinking of the argument that trans people are the most oppressed group of people in conjunction with many US States trying to ban abortions etc. I get so angry that in this day and age there are still these debates about whether it's OK to have an abortion. Abortion is a personal choice, noone is going to force you to have one if you don't want one. I think it is abhorrent to deny any woman an abortion if they want one. If men bore children there wouldn't even be a debate.

I'm just angry about the whole tit show at the moment. I don't hate trans people, people should be free to live how they want I hate the gender stereotypes reinforcement which a lot of trans people seem to exhibit. Jesus I've had trans clients it didn't change how I treated then. I think non-binary is a load of tit but I'll respect people who say that they identify this way. I don't understand why people can accept we cannot change our age or race but we can apparently change gender. I think most truly trans people accept the reality but want to live authentically to them (think Hayley Cropper in Corrie) and these people are not a danger and aren't making a fuss about trans rights.

I'm furious that a hospital denied a woman had been grape as the ward was female only. This enshrines everything wrong with trans rights activism. Trans people seem to want their rights to trump everyone elses.

Trans people in sport is another issue and frankly I find it bizarre that the rules mean a trans woman and trans man can both swim in a women's swimming race as recently happened in the US. As someone else commented it is literally turning into a men category and an everyone else category. Lots of girls already drop out of sports, if this is allowed to continue there women be ant professional sports women.
Really pathetic

Do we know what Boris said?

It was during PMQS he said that biology and science was important and so were womens rights.

but then Boris also backed Ukraine to host the World Cup in 2028, even though UK and Ireland are bidding. He has since been told. He’s a buffoon, but has said what the opposition is unable to.

Anyone with an anime profile picture I assume is catastrophically weird.
To clarify its fine to have an anime character if its age appropriate its the schoolgirl/prepubescent ones that set alarm bells ringing which is often backed up with some of the things they then tweet/say

I think this is why in part the LGB Alliance has formed, as it currently stands there’s heterosexual, then an everyone else category. What a mess.

Edit: the above would make sense if it was just the other two sexualities but what I meant was trans, asexual, non-binary, furries, pixies, etc

Asda George are really pissing me off lately with their ‘pushing the boundaries’ marketing.

“You decide what femininity looks like” with that non binary they/them person (don’t know their name). I’ve seen them on TV before. Using the ‘them’ pronoun for one person will never not be weird and feel wrong will it?

When they say ‘you decide what femininity looks like’ they mean ‘men get to decide’ don’t they 🙄

Asda can get GTF.
Who on earth would wear those horrible outfits anyway 😁 hideous

It feels rude and also just counterintuitive. I’m working with two they/thems at the moment, a male and a female, I knew both of them ‘before’ when both were happy being he/she. It’s incredibly difficult to stop your brain saying what you know to be true. Because this is a work setting I do feel like I have to say they/them and I find myself, and others, slipping up with it regularly. I’m at the point where I try to avoid ever having to refer to these people because I’ve been corrected about it before and so have others but what can you even say? I’m genuinely not even doing it on purpose and I’m sure nobody is, equally I’m just not sat retraining my brain either and tbh why should I? I find it all so difficult.

It's utter nonsense. Correctly identifying someone obviously male or female as he or she impacts nobody's life negatively in any way whatsoever. It's complete narcissism and a need to control other people that I will never understand.

I have PTSD, so I know what it's like to be triggered (I hate how much that word has been misused) by utterly mundane things. I'm also aware that nobody else is responsible for that, and I can't expect the rest of the world to abandon what is totally rational and intuitive because of my unique circumstances.

God it winds me up 😂.

This is what Boris said. Most sensible thing that's ever come out of his gob.
Given the number of women he has indiscriminately impregnated, I’d wager he’s fully aware that biological sex is a reality, not a secondary consideration subordinate to feelings and beliefs.

He’s probably realised he can scoop up a hell of a lot of politically homeless women by just stating simple biological

I delve into the rabbit hole of MTF Reddit and some blogs the thing I'm most shocked about is that the vast majority want to keep their penises !! If you have a pen you should absolutely not be allowed in female spaces.
Also describing starting estrogen as going through a full blown puberty and feeling cramps er no it's not as you don't have a uterus so can't bleeping cramp or bleed.

Exactly this. Obviously got someone with a bit of common sense advising him. I can't stand bojo and would never willingly vote tory but I have to admit that seeing him say that gave me a tiny bit of 'respect' for him.
