Here’s what we have to look forward to as mixed sex toilets get more widespread in the U.K. The replies all tell similar stories - men pissing with the doors open and abusing women who tell them to shut the door.

Same old argument: don’t look 😳

Why do men behave like this? Is it because they’re conditioned to “not looking” when standing at urinals? So they see no difference when it comes to peeing with cubicle doors open?

I spent hours yesterday reading two huge threads on that whole mess. There was DEFINITELY some peaking going on in real time. But what an absolute shitshow. Those poor children. 💔
I'm reading the thread now and all those people making, what should be good advice, that Eduardo should get help from a therapist to sort out what's REALLY happening and what they don't know is that under the current climate any therapist would be forced to collude with the dad.

Somebody actually mentioned that at one point and was completely poo-poo'd as if that could never happen.

Yes, just saw that, think it was one of us?

A lot of people have identified that the US system is too immediately affirming but haven't realised that Mermaids and Stonewall are campaigning for that exact system.

Lots of things here.

I understand what's being asked of the male populace in Ukraine is terrifying. It's a bit like the Helm's Deep scene in LOTR, in order to have a chance at survival people with no training, who never imagined shooting anyone, now are having to perform some form of civilian defense.

I also understand that Putin has no love of LGB people and probably the same opinion on gender non-conformity or people who transition. But this article is not about how gay men feel unsafe in the warzone due to their gayness making them a target, or what their life might be trapped in a homophobic Russian-ruled Ukraine.

My first thought when I saw this headline was the evil guy from Titanic shouting 'I have a child.' I want to be sympathetic to the plight of men in Ukraine and what they are facing, I also want to point out that many women have stayed to either help fight or to help in other ways. I just wish this person came from the standpoint of 'I'm male, I can't leave and I'm very, very scared'.
My first thought was: 1. why is he using a voice change and 2. Why is everything all about them? They are not the only people suffering in the Ukraine. Seems to me this deluded guy needs really be stunning and brave and just get on with it like everyone else.

‘the rights of all people who bleed’
Every person on the planet bleeds, but only one of the sexes has actual periods. Normally wouldn’t have a problem with this, but they’re changing it because ‘feminine’ is now a dirty word and nothing else.

I always disliked it because I felt ‘hygiene’ implied having periods was unhygienic and dirty. I never imagined it would be ‘feminine’ that people ended up having a problem with!

If it was about destigmatizing periods by calling spades spades I wouldn't have a problem with it but this is silly. Also, if they were really going all in, they would stock period stuff beside the men's razors and aftershave and label it 'masculine hygiene.' Just think how gender-affirming that would be for the TM's.

This is why I leave Women's Place flyers on the feminine hygiene shelves at supermarkets and pharmacies. A bit of guerrilla activism!

I wonder if pushing men into sports as women will be the tipping point and it will open more peoples eyes to how ridiculous this all is.

Just saw a whole Twitter thread on "stop scaring people out of transition by telling them they'll have vaginal atrophy, it's NATURAL and half of 'post-menopausal people' have it."

No, in fact, half of post-menopausal WOMEN are susceptible to it if it's not treated - which is currently normally done with HRT. Since you're taking testosterone, the effects will be worse

Not to mention being sterile, unable to orgasm and losing a significant amount of skin from the arm or thigh to make a “ neo phallas”.

Of course TIME magazine’s list of women of the year had to include a trans woman. OF COURSE IT DID 🙄
