I’m a working class poc working in media and my office is full of Ivy League middle class people who can be very unknowingly problematic via their micro aggressions and lack of wider life experience which causes ignorance - so I have no problem with companies actually putting in the effort to diversify their offices. There’s nothing wrong with being white and middle class, but as you’ve shown you can’t seem to see past the end of your nose and understand the wider issue that affects people that don’t have the privilege to “hide” certain characteristics and therefore miss out on opportunities or are treated differently

If TIMs feel safest coming into women's spaces, what's to stop the bad men identifying as a woman and coming for them there? After all, anyone can identity as a woman and TIMs are at more risk of assault than anyone, apparently.

Was so happy to see an advert from the Scottish government urging pregnant women to get vaccinated. There was no shying away from the use of the word women. Shame they couldn’t do the same with the one about period shaming though. That’s still annoying me!

the help that a good % of that 5500 need is a unbiased mental health professional talking to them to see what issues they have. What they don’t need is referred to a long waiting list to a service which has been shown simply reinforces the child’s view rather than questioning it. If we had an underweight teenage girl who said she was too fat we would not validate that view? Why then do we validate every teenage girl who says they are a boy especially if a large % are also autistic. That’s the current problem with Tavistock…..don’t take my word it’s in reports and in testimony from doctors that have resigned.

I mean this is concerning that you would not take a child's view point into consideration. Gender and identity and weight are two different things entirely. Children that are not taken seriously go on to be deeply unhappy, some go on to suicide as have been many reports. Just because someone has a referral to Tavistock does not mean that they get referred and automatically supported to transition or 'validated'. It is a long process of assessment.

Some young people within the waiting time frame, may actually change their mind and no longer need the referral. But young people need to be taken seriously - the risk is too great if they are not listened to.

Also, autism does not mean a young person cannot be gender questioning.

I saw some of your posts and really appreciated them. I don't know why anyone is using "she" when a) there is almost no reason to suspect Eduardo is genuinely trans and b) even if he is, it's not like he's ever going to see an obscure thread about him on a gossip site! It feels suspiciously like virtue signaling tbh.

Anyway, yes, horrified for the poor child and his siblings. That "saying goodbye" video made me want to crawl out of my skin.
